You are passengers on a cargo ship called the Jenivere, headed south to Sargava. The voyage promises not only to bring you and your fellow passengers together as you face adversity, but also to set you on a path into the very heart of one of Golarion’s most feared regions in search of wealth, fame, and ancient secrets.

Dereje moves in closer to the creature and fires an accurate shot, but the bullet seems to pass through the creature with a cloud of dust, but little other effect.

Finally taking notice of the party the creature turns in your direction as its body begins to shift in form. The creature seems to grow slightly taller and broader at the shoulders as its arms grow into whip-like tendrils.

Clarification on the tendrils, they are long enough that you can assume the creature, while still a medium creature, likely has at least a 10 foot reach with the tendrils. From the attacks that have not been overly effective, you can gather that it may require slashing weapons to be fully effective. The party is up.

Adara will gather some combustible materials and help clear an area where the plant corpse can be safely burned.

She glances around at the others waiting for someone to move the corpse in position. Only a slight expression of distaste as she looks at it gives away how loathe she is to touch the creature herself.

Grand Lodge

Gathering dried materials is somewhat of a chore, but eventually you find sufficient material to build a small pyre. As the body is moved into place a small sapling is noticed within the corpse. Perhaps it would not have been too much longer until the creature began to grow into a new musk creeper plant.

Where to?

Adara feels the blood begin rushing to her head as well as running down her body and staining her clothes. Groggily, she looks around and tries to get a better sense of what is happening.

How did I get here?

Events had occurred so quickly. Her predicament slowly replayed in her mind's eye. She looked down at her feet...no, [/i]up[/i]. The pressure on her ankle was unbearable. She reached up to try and grab the vine above it so she could at ease the ache.

Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16

What kind of check do you need for Adara to reach up and grab the vine holding her and begin pulling herself up like a rope until she's upright? Acrobatics? Straight Str? My hope is she will be able to see how the vine is attached and direct the others or just climb over to the tree and dislodge herself if there is a way.

Grand Lodge

Do a straight strength check DC 12. If you hit DC 15 you can reach and attempt an Escape Artist roll if you would like. The perception roll you have already made is suffice for being able to direct a companion how to free you, assuming you make the at least the DC 12 strength check. Keep in mind, you are still upside down and 10ft in the air.
