Due to a situation that has come up, Ronnie (Horatio's player) will not be posting for a bit. I've already agreed to GMPC Nic for the time being.
The details are Ronnie's to post, and she is free to do so if she wishes. Whether or not she does, I hope that you guys will all be supportive of her and be there for her as best you can. I'll be leaving her spot open for her until she feels that she is ready to come back. I know that I will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope you guys do the same (though I don't doubt that you will.)
Expect a post sometime tomorrow. (A game post form me, I mean.)

Sorry about bailing without warning. I managed to hit a rough patch in life as I was burning out from all the games I was running.
The other day, I broke up with my partner of six years. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but for our individual mental health, it was necessary. Neither of us were mentally well, I'm diagnosed depressed, and though he wouldn't see a doctor, I suspected he was as well.
So, we split. I have a lot of pieces to put back together, and no idea how to start it.
All that aside, I'm still here. I'll hang out in Discussion, and I'll jump into gameplay if I feel I can get into character. If I can't, I'll just say something like "I'll bluff our way in" or "have me charge that guy at the front" in here.
Leave a light on. I'll be coming and going for a while, but never far from home.
Also, I'm all to happy to welcome Saroune back to the fold!

Had my company's three year anniversary party last night. Catching up now.
Oh, I'm around. A bit raw, and every now and then I just start crying, but I'm not going anywhere. If I can't get into character for a gameplay post, I'll just post here what I want to do.
I've had some good friends and family to support me, which is making everything easier. One of my mates showed up with ice-cream, bacon, wafers, and fruit juice. My step-sister took me to the arcade. My mum took me out for a mani-pedi. It's been difficult, but I think I'm coping, for now.
All caught up and posted!

Salsa, I do believe this is the second full reunion this game has had. You should count that as a commendation.
Today was a rough one. I've been coping well enough (I thought), but I got home today and every single little thing just set me off. Washed my sheets? Never going to smell his smell again. Went to the movies? Never going to lean against him across seats. Re-reading a favourite book? Never going to finish reading it to him.
So many nevers and maybes and could-have-beens. It's hard.
I'm sorry ronnie. :(
On a lighter note, I need to start keeping better track of Spoony's languages. A lot of secret conversations aren't so secret anymore!
Perhaps we should start adding "or Horatio" to all the language spoilers. :D

Okay, as a heads up, I'm going to be allowing some new stuff since things have come out since we started. I'm allowing the Background skills system + Artistry and Lore as well as the Unchained classes from Pathfinder Unchained.
You don't have to update now, but Forth level is approaching, so you'll have a perfect excuse to update things then if you don't do it now.

Now I'm imagining how most of my characters would use Twitter... Nicoletta would call out anyone who sent her sexist messages, Henric would have accounts for most of his past lives and argue with them, Kimioshi would type almost entirely in caps and emojis, and Jens would use it as a diary and have these huge long entries split over like 50 tweets.
