I've not really been around much recently at all. Things have gotten a bit complicated at home and work and my ability to appear consistently online has been less consistent than I'd like unfortunately.

Not by choice, I assure you. I hate being sick, especially when it's the feel like throwing up kind of sick. Sometimes I think I'm getting better then I stand up and all of the sudden my head is swimming and my stomach is about to declare war on my esophagus. On top of all this I was planning on taking a trip to a family reunion tomorrow and now I may have to miss it because of this. :(

Funny thing about that. It got canceled, and we didn't get the memo. It was nice seeing everyone that stopped by to visit, though.
On the plus side, I am feeling better, and will be posting to move things along soon.

Completely off-topic, but: I just found out my father is getting me Iron Maiden tickets for my birthday. Even if they sell out while he's trying to navigate the website, knowing that he knows me so well is a damn good feeling.

I mean her nick-name in Skull and Shackles is "The Iron Maiden"
I'm going to be blunt here: I hate splitting the party. It's even worse in PBP - I spent a month twiddling my thumbs in one game because the party was split by a ravine and my paladin couldn't get across in his armour, and had to wait for the party members on the other side to nickel-and-dime the encounter. I spent another campaign basically waiting around while the ninja scouted ahead with the monk, because my character didn't have any of the necessary skills (stealth, disable device, etc). If we split this party, especially for something huge like the assault on Thistletop, I can say with absolute certainty that it will impact my fun. However, I am not the party, so if anyone else has a contrary opinion, air it.
I probably could care less of my horse is eaten, but I don't right now. I vote against a party split. It has a way of making things dull.
Yeah, besides, I've got plans. >:)

I'm with you Noro! We're being told that it is going to be as strong as Isabel which was the worst one in our area in many years. I'm hoping it will blow over without much fanfare!

I've been reading through some of the older posts and I've realized that I have goofed.
I gave the party as a whole 1000gp and Olivius already has a masterwork ransuer.
So, to fix the latter, we'll just say that Savah brought out a masterwork bradiche.
The second thing is up to you guys. Do you want to just say that it was a 1000gp each? This should get you to WBL, or at least close to it. the alternative is to say that it's only a 1000gp split among you as it was originally. I'm still reading through, but if you remember what your gift from Kyna was, please post it here. If you don't, I'll find out eventually since I'm rereading the entire thread.

Thankfully, all cats are safe now. Couldn't let my one guy get hurt, since he was one that I nearly lost to a parasite immediately after adopting him at 8 weeks old. His first two months with me were touch and go; now he's a big healthy boy.
Thankfully, I broke up the fight fast enough, and my big guy (Pooka) is safe and whole, so all is good. He's been super cuddly with me, as thanks.
Olivius got a cloak of resistence. Because I'm a fighter and that will save (or lack thereof) was scary.

I got to the part where you all got Kyna's gifts, so I was able to figure out what you got by looking in the discussion thread.

okay, a few other things.
First, You were promised 500 GP each for clearing the catacombs under the Glassworks. This has been bumped to 1000 GP since you were asked to go in when you guys were reeling from the nightmarish assault. We'll say you had yesterday (game time, not real time) to spend it how you saw fit.
Second, This dos not affect the 2500 GP you were promised upon conquering Thistletop. This is still as promised.
Third, I am allowing Fractional Bonuses from Pathfinder Unchained, no variant multi-classing though. I honestly don't like the system.
Fourth, I'm thinking about allowing a few other things in the game:
-Spheres of Power for casting. I really like it and have been wanting to try it out.
-Background Skills from Unchained, which would give everyone another 6 skill points to spend on skills that suit their backgrounds.
-The Unchained class of the Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, and Summoner. (Yes I said Summoner.)
Finally, I have been thinking of ways to have all of you in the spotlight at some point in the game. I've sent out PMs to all of you, and I'll be compiling answers into a set of notes that I should have been keeping all along. That said, please respond to those if you haven't.
I'm going to give everyone another day or two to get purchases sorted, since I have finally gone through all of the stuff I've forgottenand gotten the money situation straight.
Also, I'm going to try picking up the pace of the game a good bit. I miss the days when we'd get twenty posts in a day, if everyone can't keep up, I'll slow things down, but I'd rather get going. I have a lot of stuff I want to do here, and I'm afraid of spilling beans while I wait.
On another note, the Elder Scrolls Online theme is awesome.

I haven't looked into Spheres of Power casting, to be honest... how does it affect bards?
Background skills? Would that stack with or replace the extra skill pooint per level you gave us to spend on craft, perform, or profession? And would you allow the extra Lore and Artistry skills? I can see Saroune or Pavanna taking Lore (magic of ancient Thassilon), or Horatio taking Artistry (musical composition).
If the pace picks up, I just hope you folks won't forget about your friends on the other side of the world!
(The ESO theme may be awesome, but personally, I'm on an Adam Ant bender.)
