Kurag Urlot III |

Kurag follows Sven’s lead as it seems he has the best grasp on the situation. Should Sven indicate to finish the destruction of the shrine that nature started, Kurag will gladly join in. Until directed he waits patiently off to the side.

Sven the Mazebreaker |

”Torag, the forge belongs to ye. May the day come that giants turn away from their false Gods and realize that the world was made on your anvil!” With that he went about destroying the altar, trusting his kinsmen to finish with the room. Then they could move on.

Kurag Urlot III |

If you find a weak point in the walls of foundation let me know. I have 2 fuse grenades that I could use to try and blow up that area if we need to.
No knowledge engineering here.
Whistling to Lucky he attaches some ropes to the horse and having him pull some of the heavier loads out of the shrine. As they work, he keeps an eye open for any hidden caches of loot.

Lucky gives a few neighs of belligerence as such work was beneath such a noble steed. Yet after a few moments giving Kurag the evil eye he swishes his tail and goes along with the plan. After all some hard work now will result in extra attention and grooming later. There may be even some watermelon rinds or apples left over.

Mumbling and grumbling, Rask continues to swing Agrimmosh, and finally hits it! "Take that you overgrown weed!

Sven the Mazebreaker |

"FOOOOK!" Sven said as he burst free. "Bloody fookin' abyss! Eugh, it's goo be in me beard!" He said as he climbed free, shaking with disgust and rage. He proceeded to summon water, to wash his beard and hair free of the worst of the plant's remnants.

Kurag Urlot III |

I have a dagger if you need a trim? I can remove most of the beard if you would like in dishonor of you being swallowed by a plant. Now that Sven is freed and not in danger of dying Kurag has no problem harassing him.

Sven the Mazebreaker |

”Bah!” Sven said, shaking his head vigorously to get the water out. ”Youth these days! Is it ignorance, or is it arrogance? Back in my day, when orcs were bigger and plants knew their place… He stopped shaking his head, and fighting the urge to smile said ”Forget it. If ye want to help, buy the first round once we are done here. And done here we are not.”

Kurag Urlot III |

Kurag will smile and go along with the older dwarf. It is not arrogance, ignorance, or irreverence. It is simply wisdom and observation. That beard is now atrocious, and I will gladly buy you the first round at the barber. As messed up as that beard is it may take a couple of rounds. Kurag strokes his well-maintained red beard as if in thought. What do the rest of you all think? Would he look better with a trim or are we forced into camping here tonight so that way he can have the next 4 hours to look presentable again?

Sven the Mazebreaker |

”Why beardling, be ye jealous?” Sven said, an eyebrow raised and a mischievous glint in his eyes. ”Of how me beard is as white as a mountain peak? Or on how long it is? Worry not, lad. After your voice breaks, I’m sure that your wee red whiskers will grow out.”

Kurag Urlot III |

Kurag finally bows his head at the elder dwarf but still tries to get one last ribbing in. Indeed elder Sven, it will take me a century or 2 before my red hair is as white as yours. You must dye it to have it be so white. Thank you for such a wonderful life lesson.

Sven the Mazebreaker |

Turning to continue down into the giants' lair, Sven added one last reply. "Always a pleasure. But dying? No, just the stress of dealing with youths."

Kurag Urlot III |

After the banter Kurag continues his efforts to demolish the shrine hoping that nothing else attacks or swallows Sven. He keeps his eyes out for any loot though in the process. [b]We missed that plant so what else may we have missed? Anyone able to detect magic to see if there is anything of value?

M2 - Aduromi’s Chambers
The ceiling in this room remains whole, but dark mildew and splattered patterns of black mold cover all surfaces except the floor, which hides beneath a layer of stagnant brownish sludge. There is a neat pile of six round stones with a rough, rindlike surface stacked in the northeast corner. Each stone is about 2 feet in diameter.

Kurag Urlot III |

Hey Sven! Is there any significance to 6 round stones stacked on each other? Careful for the mold and don’t touch anything.

If it doesnt have any significance then we keep tearing down the shrine. Kurag starts with stones by disloding them and then moves Lucky back to continue the demolition in the main room.

You all continue to destroy the shrine with reckless abandon and soon it is just a pile of rubble.

O. The Forbidden Rift
A giant scarecrow, crudely formed from tree trunks lashed together, stands at the entrance to this forested vale. On either side, steep, rocky escarpments climb sharply toward the sky. Clinging boulders jut from the slopes, entwined by the thick roots of twisted ash trees determined to hold themselves fast. A cold breeze whisks through the rift, sending a blizzard of silvery ash leaves scattering through the air.
