Well that was as well as it could have gone. A few arrows down but a giant and troll finished off and no one injured. At this rate we should be pretty good in a year of cleaning out this giant infestation.

Gristlecrack carries a bag containing a +1 short sword, a potion of gaseous form, a scroll of mirror image, a gold bowl engraved with images of dwarves fighting giants (worth 400 gp), a gold f lute (worth 1,000 gp), a small diamond (worth 900 gp), two opals (worth 500 gp each), 679 gp, 180 sp, 900 cp, and a collection of 14 feet (dwarven, halfling, and human)—most of which were claimed at Shinnerman’s Fortune.

Kurag Urlot III |

Kurag looks appreciatively at the gems and items the giant carried until they got to the feet. Those he carefully separated out away from the other items. He then got his shovel and dig a grave for the feet and placed them with in. We don’t know who they were but they deserved better than in a giants bag. At least they won’t be carried around as prizes or toys any more.
He looks at the direct the trolls fled and gave serious thought to chasing them on Lucky. Scen’s word were truth though and he would only be adding risk without much reward.

Sven the Mazebreaker |

”A worthy thought, cousin. But they’re souls are to be judged now, they’re bodies have little to do with that lest a necromancer disturb them.” The cleric said. ”Showing respect is enough, and we shouldn’t tarry overlong.” He then said a short prayer over the impromptu grave, bowed his head respectfully, and turned to move on.

M. Aduromis Chapel
A broad wood of young aspens and birches sweeps through this vale. The trees sway softly, their pale branches glimmering in the light. Near the edge of the grove, a forgotten pathway of badly weathered dark stone pokes through the forest floor, leading to a clearing containing a large structure of timeworn stone. Colorful lichens cling to the walls, and most of the slate roof has collapsed inward. Jumbles of great granite blocks lie around the building, half buried beneath the soil and fallen leaves.
Sitting on one of the stones under some low hanging branches is one of the trolls you had just fought and had gotten away. He is crying.

Kurag Urlot III |

Kurag stops Lucky and looks at the strange site. It wasn’t everyday that your found a troll crying. This an ambush? he asks the others. Staying atop Lucky he surveys the surroundings looking for anything else moving or hidden.

@Kiln: The Troll is on a branch 15 feet in the air so you would need a range weapon or some sort of fly spell to reach him.
@Kurag: All three trolls are engaged in melee. Rask and Yellow are in close quarter combat while Blue and Green are on branches 15 ft off the ground and are using their reach to attack Kiln and Sven. (This is why they did not rush into a head-long charge when you faced them earlier. Moss Trolls are ambush fighters.

"The Forge Father provides. Decapitate them after I stop them from regenerating." Sven said. He went from troll to troll, and placed a hand on their heads. With a prayer to his deity, acid formed where he touched, ending their regeneration.

M1. Sanctuary
A row of five half-columns splits this foyer, their crowns carved into small stone offering bowls. Beyond the foyer, a wide set of stairs descends to a recessed central chamber with three long prayer benches. The stone benches are cracked and covered with moss. Much of the ceiling has collapsed into piles of giant slate shingles. Shrubs and weeds grow through the floor, covering everything in verdant tangles. Along the west wall, two flights of stairs climb to raised balconies with cracked stone railings. The first staircase coils around a slender menhir topped with the crudely carved countenance of a heavy-browed fire giant.
To the north, a set of steps climbs to a broad dais facing the benches. A huge fire pit fashioned from sheets of hammered black iron, bent and riveted together, stands upon the dais atop an ornately forged cast iron frame. A wide stone altar stands behind the fire pit, engraved with a giant helm with huge fangs. The altar and dais are draped in a thick blanket of stringy greenish moss.

Kurag Urlot III |

Taking a look at the shrine Kurag moves back a step and motions to Sven. Any idea whose shrine this is to? I am guessing some giant god based on the shoddy workmanship. Should we finish what nature has started and knock some walls down?

Kurag Urlot III |

Anyone else have religion?
Well if no one has any other thoughts do we up and leave or knock it down? I would hate to offend a dwarven god or a good god either by knocking this down but if it is someone else’s then all for it. When in doubt leave it though.
