Naberius Belthrune |

Round 2
Lullaby is targeted at a 10-feet radius burst, so I assume Mera is targeting the foremost thug and the guy behind him, who I assume to be Dravano. They still need to save against the lullaby (DC 15) to make sure if they receive the penalty to their save against Naberius' sleep spell.
Naberius gives Mera a look of approval as the singer weaves her song into his spell, and finishes the incantation by blowing the fine sand from his palm at the tieflings. Both of them begin to yawn and rub their eyes, overcome by sudden drowziness...
Finish casting sleep (no action). The last remaining thug and Dravano need to make a DC 16 Will save or fall asleep, with a -2 penalty if they fail against lullaby.
Not stopping to see if the spell worked or not, the conjurer moves foward behind his companions to get a look at the supposed leader of the gang. Surprised to find that Palaveen is nowhere to be seen, he prepares his wand...
Move to square C-2. Ready an action to shoot a magic missile at Palaveen if he reappears and tries to cast a spell.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Mera Wist-Thrune |

Mera's Lullaby is DC15 GM.
Mera watches the tiefling go down and shivers.
If I ever see another tiefling...i
She finishes her song and watches the sand blow from the wizard's fingers with a slight smile on her lips.
Impressive combination. I do believe that this little trick is going to service us quite well.

Dravano Will Save (Sleep): 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 1 - 2 = 9
The tiefling and Dravano let out a yawn as Naberius finishes his spell and both collapse to the floor emiting loud snoring noises.
The Flaming Wolf Skeleton runs right up to Raveen and tries to bite him, but misses.

Tal Bernard Mainz |

Sorry long day at work catching up from the extended weekend. Anyways...
Tal drops his shield and pulls out the cane that he borrowed from Naberius. Laying into the fiery wolf with abandon Tal tries to put as much power as possible into the attack.
power attack w/o tower shield 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 - 1 = 9 for 1d6 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 3 = 11
Tal's rage gets the better of him as he misses. a 3 on the to hit roll and a 1 on the damage roll. In the 4 campaigns I am in since I have been back I have not rolled higher than a 5 on any dice roll thus far.

Next round is my first Coup de grace. I can't wait.

Mera Wist-Thrune |

Have we previously encountered flaming wolf skeletons that I overlooked? If not, what do we need to roll to identify?
Mera looks over the wolf creature, racking her brain to remember what she may have learned from the master on such beasts.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 +4 additional for local/planes/arcana

Tal Bernard Mainz |

We fought them earlier but I think you were gone for that as well. We know you need bludgeoning to damage them fully and they have an aura. That is about it.

Mera Wist-Thrune |

Hopefully I can pull some more out of the hat here with that roll.

DM RichD |

Round 3
Tal, Angry that his grieving is being interrupted, tries to swing the cane at the wolf skeleton, but misses. The second wolf skeleton comes up next to its companion and tries to bite Tuesday and misses.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Mera tries to think of additional weaknesses of the wolf skeletons, but concludes the only way to defeat them is to pound them to dust.
Raveen tumbles past the first wolf skeleton.
Raveen Acrobatics past second: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
He then tumbles past the second one and kills the sleeping tiefling.

Tactical Map updated.

Mera Wist-Thrune |

Did Mera already taken an action this round and I missed it? Or did I think SO hard that it's a standard action? ;)

Mera Wist-Thrune |

I'm not sure how many rounds of bardic I have left since I was in and out, but it should be at least one. I'll try to count it up.
Unable to recall anything useful about these beasts, Mera decides to begin a song that tells the tale of skinning the hides of wolves for their coats in a harsh winter.
Inspire Courage ON!

Naberius Belthrune |

Round 3
As Palaveen refuses to show himself, Naberius stays ready to disrupt any further magical trickery.
Naberius keeps readying an action to shoot a magic missile at Palaveen if he reappears and tries casting a spell.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

DM RichD |

Round 3 Cont'
Mera inspires courage with her singing, while Naberius keeps an eye open for when Palaveen reappears.
The flaming Wolf Skeleton briefly wonders where Raveen went, but quickly decides to bite Tuesday instead since Tuesday and hurt him.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
It misses him, but since Tuesday and Tal are both standing next to him, they feel the heat of the creature's fire aura.
Tuesday Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Tal Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Dravano continues to sleep away not realizing the danger in the form of Raveen standing so near.
Daravano! We hardly knew ye!
Next up: Monday & Tuesday

Tuesday Daud |

Fire. Tuesday was not a fan. Not in the slightest. Even less so when he had to keep hitting the funeral pyre that was trying to fry him.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10
Slam 1: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 1 = 23
Slam 2: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 = 8

Tal Bernard Mainz |

Snapping out of whatever daydream he was in Tal realizes that the dead Tiefling was just another of the foes set against them down here. With his head finally clear he moves into position to attack both wolves and lays into them with precision with the cane causing some serious damage to the skeletal creature.
Movement provokes AOO and moving to -A,-4
Power attack two handed 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 + 1 - 1 + 2 = 24 for 1d6 + 7 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 3 + 1 = 16

Mera Wist-Thrune |

Mera bows her head and gestures with her hand in response to Tal's comment. While singing she towards towards Tal and smiles at bodyguard as if to say My pleasure.
She watches her companions continue to dispatch the foes around her as she keeps up her vocals and continues her performance. With no immediate threat closing in on her, she keeps close by Monday and takes the opportunity to prepare her crossbow for whatever dark things may come from behind that doorway.

Naberius Belthrune |

Round 4
As Palaveen continues to hide, Naberius persists in his watch for magical trickery.
"Show yourself, 'son of Mammon!' There is no escape! Face your death with some dignity!" the conjurer calls out, his voice thick with contempt.
Naberius keeps readying an action to shoot a magic missile at Palaveen if he reappears and tries casting a spell.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Tuesday Daud |

Not seeing any visible enemies Tuesday steps up into the doorway to prevent any fleeing, that is though working under the assumption the tiefling simply hadn't already fled.

Tal Bernard Mainz |

Tal sees that everything is in hand and goes and gets his shield strapping it back in place. Looking at the tieflings he starts to consider their decapitation much like the tieflings he did upstairs. Well done all! Are we finished here now?

Masked Conspirator |

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
The masked man drew up his shortsword, and moved to where he last saw the entangled tiefling, stabbing forward into what seemed to be like thin air.
Attack w/shortsword, square -B-8: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18+4 if prone
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 34
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 61
Free reroll from Blind-Fight; take 34 for a successful hit.
Here's hoping he didn't manage to escape yet or remains prone

Naberius Belthrune |

Round 5
As frustrated as he is by his foe's cowardice, Naberius does his best to stay calm and continues waiting. The spell would wear out eventually, and the tiefling had nowhere to go. The wizard walks up behind Tuesday and continues to keep his wand at the ready...
Tuesday moved to block the door (square A-5, I presume). Naberius will move to square B-3 and keeps readying an action to shoot a magic missile at Palaveen if he reappears and tries casting a spell.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I considered casting detect magic, but it would take three rounds to get the locations of specific auras. I hope he will reveal himself before that...

Vascо |

Vasco keeps hurling insults into the room, while attempting to use his keen senses to detect the cowardly tiefling.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 Just in case he happens to be doing anything else than sitting silently in a corner...

Mera Wist-Thrune |

I'll get on it.
Mera drops her performance, but her soothing voice continues to echo throughout the room. Lingering performance, still up for another round.
When she sees everyone looking around she whispers, "I'll move in and see if I can detect his location. Tal can you please accompany me on this endeavor? I'd hate to be caught off guard.
The singer moves just inside the doorway and moves to the corner of the room (c5 if possible, if not close as to that as is legal) and begins to cast detect magic.

Tal Bernard Mainz |

Tal will move diagonally in front of Mera to protect her yet still try to leave her a line of escape should she need to leave quickly. Not a problem Mera. If you find something out of the ordinary let me know and I will investigate it while you keep up your magical divinations.
On the way over Tal will sheath the cane and draw his longsword.
Ready action to aid another for Mera's defense to add to her AC. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 What a waste of a 20 roll for an aid like that.

Masked Conspirator |

"By the gods, put that wand down, it has no use now," the man exclaimed at Naberius, heading to the corridor at D-0 by running, and stopping at -K-4, wary to hit something invisible and solid.
"Mera, Tal, stay here and look behind the corner! We will continue the hunt outside. Naberius, join me here--and please search for magical auras! I will check the doors!"
Unless the damned tiefling could phase through the planes, he isn't far away.
Boredom creeping into her thoughts and showing on her face Monday saunters over to Naberius and asks him "Care to dance?"
Eyebrow twitching, he asked, "Wait--you can see auras, right? Your pseudo-magic must have some use."

Monday Daud |

Eyebrow twitching, he asked, "Wait--you can see auras, right? Your pseudo-magic must have some use."
"PSUEDO-MAGIC?!?! Tuesday! Kill!" Monday says incredulously to Raveen or whoever he was pretending to be at the time.
Then she simply throws her arms up in a shrug while her face is nonplussed.

Tuesday Daud |

Tuesday's shoulders begin rolling and heaving raucously in an imitation of deep laughter before all at once stopping, the popping cracks heard coming from his knuckles are all too loud and real.

Masked Conspirator |

@GM: Are any of the northern doors opened, or at least unlocked--and did I run into anything invisible yet?
Actions
"Thanks, Mera, Tal," he said, upon noticing her casting before heading through the tunnel. He ran erratically through, hoping to hit anything and provoke any reactions (be they defensive or attacks).
If there's a check, it might be Perception or Acrobatics to effectively spread my reach to accidentally hit something, right?
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
If only they used all that energy in our regular pursuits, he thought mildly, hearing yet another death-threat from Monday and her brother. It's not that intimidating the third time.
