Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

Really? It would have been clearer if you said "it's a corridor with three doors (one on the right, two on the left, etc.)"

Male Human (Chelaxian) Infernal Binder 4 | AC 12 | HP 32/32 | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +6 | CMB +1, CMD 13 | Init +2 | Perception +2 (+4 with familiar), Spellcraft +12

Looking at the doors along the tunnel, Naberius ponders for a brief moment. The wizard then turns back to Raveen, saying "Do you think you could jam these doors somehow? That way no one can sneak up on us, or release the guardians on us from behind after we have passed. That would be a valuable use of your talents, and our time as well..."

If we would rather keep rushing fowards without securing the two unboarded doors, Naberius makes sure to place himself in the middle of the group.

Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

Just about to. I thought there were two doors.

The man jammed the two other doors, before continuing down the corridor (hopefully with the same stealth and perception he displayed earlier).

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

I have added a map for clarification:

Temple Complete

Door 1: Boarded Up - (-F,-12)
Door 2: Not locked - (-M,-10)
Door 3: Not locked - (-Q,-3)

Raveen secures the two doors that are not boarded up and the party continues on. The corridor (-M,-2) starts to curve to the south.

How far ahead is Raveen from everyone?

Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

1: He bars door on -M,-10 and -Q,-3 if applicable.
2: He stops at -L,-4 (where there is cover) and peeks over the edge.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 [Low-Light Vision]

DM wrote:

Not sure. I'm at -L,-4. Where is everyone else?

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

Looking around the bend it looks like the tunnel opens into a room.

Tal is good to stay 20ft behind Raveen as that is within a quick move to support the sneaky man without giving him away hopefully. He keeps his sword drawn and ready should he need to rush forward.

Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

1: Did the Perception check reveal anything? If anyone's talking/snoring/moving, the Perception DC suffers only a -4 to -6 distance penalty.
2: What does he see on -D-0? If it's not in my line of sight, Raveen quickly slinks into -I-1 then -G-2 to gain line of sight vs. the room.

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

1. You did not hear anything.

2. As you move to -G,-2 to see the whole room. You see four tieflings and anoter creature wrapped in linens. The tieflings are standing at attention and the creature wrapped in linens is sitting reading a book. I will update the map when I get home.

This looks to be some kind of barracks; several simple bunk beds take up space in the corners of the room. A wooden door similar to the one outside the crypt stands shut on the west wall.

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

Raveen catiously peeks his head around the corner and Vethamer, occupied with his reading, and the tieflings, occupied by not faultering and drawing Vethamer's ire, do not see the masked man.

Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

After scanning the place quickly, he returned to the rest, standing before them (I assume 20-25 ft. away from -D-0)

"Five Tieflings I could see. Straightforward terrain," he reported in a whisper. He then reached to his backpack, and carefully drew a blackened iron pan, and smiled awkwardly, "We may lure a few with some noises to spread them out."

Although I'm really itching to use Rapid Shot to stack sneak attack...

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

Tactical Map is updated with what Raveen saw.

Whispering back to Raveen, Trying to draw some out would just alert them at the same time. If w have the element of surprise why do we not just rush in and hit them hard before they have a chance to react that quickly. Then once the darkness comes we counter with the light that you brought. if you want to lure them out that is your choice but I am afraid it will backfire.

Go with the ranged sneak attack. You hardly ever see it in my games.

Unknown (Probable Male) Unknown Race ???

A good a plan as any.

The masked man nodded, putting back his pan into his backpack, and moved into position (-D,0) quietly, drawing out a couple of sharp combat darts, targeting any creature he has clear view of, and using his crossbow for the first attack.

Are we still in the same position on the map as before? Or were we able to move up behind Raveen (still 20ft back though)?

NARRATOR GS Map / SS MAP/

I think that if you stayed 20ft from Raveen (-G,-1), you would be within 30-35 ft of the Tieflings and they would get a perception check (and possibly negate Raveen's stealth check) to hear you coming down the tunnel. It is up to you. I can roll perception checks or you can be in the same position and hope that Raveen 'holds out' until you move to the room.

Understood. Will stay where I was as I don't want to mess with Raveen's check already.

Tal hurries forward to -F,-2 once he hears the sound of combat to support Raveen. Hopefully his (Raveen's) position isn't compromised by the time Tal gets there to reinforce him.

Seeing that Tal has been compromised, and the way the tieflings are positioned, Naberius quickly grabs a piece of hardened butter from his component pouch, melting it in his fingers. With a wave of his hand, he coats the floor beneath the tiefling thugs with a layer of magical grease.

Hopefully Mera can keep his hound leashed for now. The man is a beast in battle, but apparently lacking in mental fortitude... Bah, this should hold the hellspawn for a moment...

Naberius steps one square towards the tieflings, and then casts grease in the 10-feet square in front of Tuesday. That should catch both of the thugs. They need to make a DC 17 Reflex save or fall prone, and everyone who moves in or through the space needs to make additional Acrobatics checks, hopefully to the effect of flopping around on the ground ineffectually. See the spell description for more info.

Assuming that Tuesday delays until the grease has been dismissed, Naberius will do just that. I'm not sure if a phantom can just float over it or something, in which case I might do something else.
