Mounted combat nitpick: If Nibb is currently riding her dire corgi wolf companion, they should be sharing the same 5'x5' space. Maybe another token? Or just pile Nibb's token on top of Skorl?

Good point. I think we can just go ahead and place Nibb on top of Skorl for now. If it becomes burdensome we can spend some photoshop time to come up with something.

Doh! Zordlon used hand of the apprentice twice, which is from the wizard's Arcane School class ability, but spell sage's replace that ability with Spell Study. Sorry. :-(

Fishing was fun. It wasn't as good as last year, in terms of #s of fish caught, but we did keep and grill a few one night. We caught alot of perch and bluegill. Much less crappie than previous years. The weather and rain may have had them suspended somewhere we didn't find. We did catch a wider variety of fish than before: perch, bluegill, crappie, large mouth bass, a catfish and a snail (way to go chuck!). Bass were all too small to keep. One of the perch was probably the bigges we caught, though the catfish may have been bigger, but it was on friday and well, we didnt keep it. A fun time was had by all, in so far as i could tell! Next year is august 13th thru the 20th, if gencon doesn't fall to close and you're interested...:) Chuck is still itching to finish an arkham horror game!

This year was the first year we didn't finish Arkham Horror. 40% of the players were clearly not enjoying themselves, so it was best to put it away and do something else. I'm not planning on bringing it next year, assuming I can even attend.

How do you catch a snail only? I've caught some wild things in my time - bullfrogs, a seagull, and a turtle, but never a snail. My wife's birthday is the 18th of August, so I think I'm boned already with those dates. However, if you guys want to do a day trip at Busse Woods or rent a boat on the Fox River or other local lakes, I'm game.

What went wrong with Arkham Horror? People not familiar enough with the rules to keep it moving at a reasonable pace?

Catching a snail with a rod and reel is a rare skill possessed by the most elite of fishermen.

Jack's not a board gamer, and Brian doesn't really care for dice games.

I'm getting caught up here. Are we on the Watchtower_W3 map now?

That's where the bad guys are. You and I still need to travel up some stairs to get there, though.

I'm cool either way on init. Going forward, I plan to be more available to posting so if we do split the init, I'll be able to handle it.

I think so... I thought last weekend was his last weekend. Greg might know more.

I think he was going out there next week and is probably working on packing this week. I know he's in town at least until Friday as he and Rebecca are getting together Friday afternoon.
