"Ha!" William says as he inches past the dwarf and into the room with the womenfolk.
As William crosses the door sill after Dain, Yorikata quickly closes the door and leans against it to hold it shut.
With the door shut, everyone takes a quick breather.
No one hears any laughing or fluttering of wings, from the far end of the room a throat is cleared.
'Excuse me, might I ask who you are to enter the Vault of Thorns? It has been a long time since I last say anything inside of my home." A female voice carries over to you
"We are the new subtenants. Haven't you received the note? Silvermane told he'd inform everyone, so there will be no issues for us."
"He didn't tell anything about you, and if you didn't get the note, that leads to the question, who are you?" Yorikata inquires.
Oy vey. Dain thinks after Yorikata speaks
Girl, Respect your elders. We don't have time for games. Lanneth snaps.
She turns to the figure on the throne.
As my companion said, we were sent here by Silvermane. The Orcs and Giants are teaming up again, and after a particularly deadly assault Trunau on he told us that we should come here to get the weapons the druids set aside for just such an occasion.
She looks expectedly at the figure like this clears everything up.
Yorikata crosses her arms and sticks her tongue out at Lanneth's back.
"Slivermist now that is a name I have not heard in a long time." The woman responds. "My name is Ewigga, I am a druid here." Ewigga thinks for a moment before responding "I came myself as well to get some of the weapons that were stored here but I was unable to get past the new guardians."
New Guardians?
So the Lurkers in the Light were not intended to be here?
Or are you talking about something else?
Dain remains wary and tries not to bleed too much.
"What do you want the weapons for?" nosy Yorikata inquires.
"Well this place as I assume it was explained to you is close to the first world, so when we left to fight the Orcs and were decimated we were no longer here to prevent new people from entering." Ewigga says to Lanneth, turning to Yorikata "I heard of Orcs amassing to the west of here, in a fort, I came to secure them so that once I found people to help I could outfit them."
"Then this is your lucky day! We're here."
"Though it doesn't seem to be our lucky day if we have to fight through to get the weapons. Where exactly are they?"
"They are on the lower level, hidden away from what I remember." Ewigga says, "It is my lucky day yes, we can assist each other in the retrieving of these weapons then we can strike back."
That would seem to make sense... What can you tell us of these new inhabitants? Did you have a plan for dealing with them?
"There are many, I attempted to get to the room below, a vibrant garden where we hid the weapons. I was interrupted by the Fey, some invisible things and some tiny in the entrance. I have stopped here to rest and think on a plan of action as I cannot do this alone but how do I get back out and find help?" Ewigga says. "Then you come along, my help came to me. I do not know much of these new Fey as they were not here when I left before."
"Dain and I could use some healing before we go to battle again." William looks Eweigga up and down for weapons, armor, spell pouches or wands. Does she appear to be a warrior, a caster, or neither.
William does not note any weapons on the woman but she is still seated, she is of slight build and does look older than Lanneth. A few pouches are on the woman but it is difficult to tell what they are for without going through them.
William addresses the seated woman. "I am William. At your service, ma'am. I fight with this." He holds up the greataxe. "By what means do you intend to clear out the fey? I see no weapons upon you."
Ah yes, I got distracted.
Lanneth walks over and lays her hands on Dain.

Hmmm. You both need more healing then I can call from Mother Moon.
Yorikata dear, can you help these boys?
If not I will need to use my spells, and I think I may have a way for us to challenge the fey for this area. I just need a distraction and my spells for that.
She goes on to lay out the fact that these fey are only invisible in the bright sunlight. With any luck and a little distraction, she can fly up to the top of the dome and use her obscuring mist spell to block out the sun from the whole chamber which should make this a fair fight.
"Sure." Yorikata replies and touches Dain.
"But can't we simply ignore those invisible jerks for now?"
As the group now has more time to look around they note A series of detailed woodcarvings depicting druidic worship decorates the walls of this room. To the southeast, a short flight of stairs leads to a dais, upon which sits a throne crafted of dead, overgrown brambles and thorns. Doors to the north, west, and northwest offer exits from the chamber.
As the ladies heal the wounds of the slow men, your healing powers seem to pack more healing a strange feeling. As everyone now has a moment to breathe was well you feel a strange energy flow through your body as if you don't need to sleep or eat while in here.
"I have spells as I am a druid my dear child, I can assist you as you move forth, I wasn't' prepared for such invaders." Ewigga says
William watches as the women folk heal Dain, but not their front liner. Okay, then. Was it something I said?
"I would prefer to ignore them for now, as well, Little One."

"Do you need to rest? Can you tell me what time of day it is outside?" Ewigga asks
William begins to groom his beard.
The nonverbal exchange between Dain and William is interesting to say the least. And as William starts grooming his beard it becomes outright ridiculous. "Have you considered shaving it?" Yorikata asks.
It dawn when we stepped through the portal, but does the sun move here?
"It goes not no, this demi plane is always sent to just after high noon." Ewigga responds to Lanneth, we can press on into the next room as it does not share a connection with the previous one and the fey in there should remain there."[/b]
"Ewigga, is it possible for you to do some of that healing on me as well?"
Yorikata suddenly has a thought. She carefully looks at the areo of Ewigga's throne and the room around. "You're a druid? DoN#t druids always have a pet? Where's your's?"
"Not all druids no, some of us follow more natural paths instead of having an animal accompany us. I Can heal you some yes child." Ewigga walks over to William and touches his shoulder.
"Thank you, Ewigga." Being healed, William finally registers that Yorikata was addressing him. He replies "No."
Dain is proud of his organically grown beard.
While the others talk, Lanneth casts detect magic and scanns around the room.
Well, no use standing around, Let's go figure out how to get these weapons.
Lanneth shoos the group ahead of her into the next room while she scans through the open door for magic.
Dain draws his bow and lets William lead
William opens the door and takes in what is before him.
Lanneth makes her way right, finding a door she carefully opens it. Inside are bags of seeds, there are also farming implements as well but these are rusted and the wooden has rotted away, the bags of seeds appear fresh.
"Why are you ushering us into a shed?" Yorikata asks. "I'm not doing any yard work. If that demiplane needs weeding, someone else can do that!"
William suspects Yori has some sort of beard envy. While the women folk browse the pantry, he continues his observations of the room before him. His mind does wander to more bearded music. Greataxe in hand.

Thanks for the healing, I didn't say that before. So perhaps the other door or try to search the garden we came through, now that we know a little more about those nasties? Or perhaps we can at leats try to negotiate?
William looks at the lycanthrope. 5'00" and 115 lbs. She could loose some weight. What has she been eating?
As Lanneth continues to scan for any sort of magic she replies to Dain.
Trust me, negotiating with the Fey is not easy, particularly if they feel they have the advantage. Many of them are very capricious and egocentric. So will turn on you if they see the chance.
The party moves to the Northern door, it is a single large door of what looks like Solid Oak. William heaves on the door and it opens up easily.
Inside you see An ornate staircase descends to a small platform. Several giant lily pads sway gently in the chamber’s air currents, each floating
at a different height. Below the lily pads, a sheer drop fades into darkness, where a droning buzz reverberates off the chamber’s walls. At the other end of the chamber, a second platform and staircase lead out of the room.
I feel we will get attacked by bees here. Oh gods, not the bees.
"Please no bees"
William moves forward, readied action greataxe Pa.
He begins to sing a song with the intention of upsetting the lycanthrope.
"We have to get over there?" Yorikata asks. On confirmation she shrinks into her dangerously cute fox form and hops over the lilly pads to the other side.
