As much as I would love to it's become obvious that I'm just not keeping up the way I should. Since I've actually considered dropping some of my PbPs I think it wouldn't be fair to anybody for me to join this one. But I'll still follow along and if life calms down I'll happily participate in the future.

No worries big guy, we'll try to make it without you.
I'm thinking about the Dawn of the Scarlet Sun, since I don't think many of you have played it... but alas, I see it's a level 5 module and not sure everyone has PCs for it.
Also, the plan would be to start April 5, because we might as well support the PbP gameday! -- A Hymn of Wind And Flame
Pinging the others today, then will possible ping some more who weren't here for the first iterations.
My plan is 12-15 posts a week, and based on our past success and rates, we should be able to play through a scenario in 5-6 weeks.
Pain - what about your pal who never PbP'd before (CleverMonkey)?

That makes four, which is dandy as the minimum.
I pinged and am waiting for a reply from Twigs. If he's in, there's one spot open.
With a bunch of level 2's, state your preference for scenario.
#1. Glass River Rescue
#2. The Confirmation (can be replayed for credit repeatedly)
#3. Other (give a recommendation?)

No strong preference here; Glass River Rescue sounds slightly more interesting, but could also probably be done at higher levels later on.
+1 to this. Whatever works best.
I'll check in with my friend and another that I believe is interested.

In my humble opinion, Glass River is more interesting overall. I really enjoyed playing it - it's my favorite low level season 5 scenario thus far.
Confirmation isn't too shabby - it was written by Kyle Baird, so it has some deadly elements.
To sync with the PbP Gameday event, we'll plan to start April 5th, so there's a lot of notice here.

Hrm, I was all ready to say "no" considering the huge semester I have ahead of me and how many active games I have right now. But honestly they're moving pretty slow and I have time for at least one scenario.
However, Harrol and Archibald are both in PbP's right now. Whats the PFS stance on running a character in two games simultaneously? I'd be keen to take Archy for another spin (right now he's sitting at level 2, and I think I'll throw what little AP credit I can get onto him as well to try some higher level scenarios. I think I can get some for RoW and from RotR shortly as well).
If not I'll roll up a new character.

We'll start April 5th, so not sure if Harrol or Archie wrap up their PbPs in time? I do believe you aren't supposed to run multiple PbPs in parallel, but if you're in the final combat of one and it's just a few posts to go, I'd wager you could start roleplaying in another.
OK, sounds like we're set on Glass River Rescue to kick off on April 5th. We can simply continue adventuring in the forums we used for the earlier scenarios, so feel free to continue to chat here, make purchases and dust off your characters.

Well, blarg. I had a hunch you may have played a bunch of stuff already.
I'm haven't played the Destiny series or Library of the Lion yet, but am popping over to this PbP run by Luke_Parry for that. Come join me there on Thorel!
To the others - if you guys have anyone you'd like to invite along for Glass River Rescue, feel free to point them to this thread. I'll do first come first serve.
At the moment we should have:
Damn Vrock (cleric)
Sad Rock (sad rock)
Sir Q (fighter/bard)
Archie/Harry/TBD (??)
And thus 2 spots for grabs with Thorel on the sideline.

@Joseph: Thanks for dropping by - will certainly keep you in mind. I'm usually happy to pick almost any 6-person friendly scenario (which means season 4 up to present) that the players universally haven't seen yet.
@mott: I'm happy to see Ramli and his fireworks again.
I suspect someone else may drop by shortly...

Archibald I think I'd like to keep active in his current group, as much as I think his grumpy self and Sad-Rock would make an excellent pairing.
Harrol, meanwhile, I don't feel was a good fit for PFS. He's much more at home in his Wrath of the Righteous campaign where the world just seems very much too big for him.
Anyway... that leaves me with some kind of PFS-suited character to come up with, both with a fair bit of versatility and a bombastic personality. I have an active PC of every race barring half-elf and half-orc, so I'll see what I can come up with in that regard. I've always had trouble writing them well as I like to take my race and play it up to the nines, and there just doesn't seem to be a lot THERE with the bastard races. I'm thinking a half elf. A lazy vagabond bard ALA Autolycus in the Winter's Tale or a obsessed glory-hound bastard; probably a slightly goofier Alain.
Bard or Fighter?

Hrm. Say I wanted to "reroll" Harrol and create a new PC on his messageboard alias. What would be the best way to do that? (probably a better question for customer service than for here). I don't believe I can change his name, so how do I get a new alias on the same PFS number so I can use my Silent Tide credit for XP?
I've decided to opt for a Lore Warden fighter with some kind of full BAB dip for heavy armour. Alias incoming as soon as I puzzle out the above.

Ok, I was incorrect. I have GMed Glass River but not played it, if you'd still have me. That was back in November so I really don't remember it off hand.
I can bring in a 3rd lvl Archer or 3rd lvl Cavalier...this scenario I'd prefer the archer. Or 2nd Lvl Bard-barian a melee focused Shoanti Bard.

My fighter is 100% ready for play, although still no response from support RE: his PFS# and rerolling.
I'm really looking forward to trying him out and seeing what he becomes. He's got a few similarities with a cleric I play in my homegame who I just can't get enough of, so I wanted to bring him to a PbP that I can check into every day. And set in Golarion rather than our more bare-bones homebrew setting I'll be able to play him as the pig-headed patriot I always wanted to play, and Taldor is perfect for. However, as a half-elf and a bastard I feel like he has enough going for him to make a brilliant character in his own right. Now, gods, stand up for bastards!
Build wise he'll be dipping into Paladin for heavy armour proficiency, before progressing as the ever-versatile lore warden. I want to challenge myself and try to make a damage sponge that doesnt use lay on hands. Thanks to Harrol's two scenario's he's more well equipped than I could ever have hoped for. Masterwork heavy armour, an armored warhorse, a masterwork weapon and a darkwood shield, as well as a few potions on the side.
Only one decision left to make. My half-elf feat. Skill Focus (diplomacy), Skill Focus (ride), or the Iron-Will equivalent. I'll probably opt for the higher saves, but I'm thinking the skill would be more useful at the level we're playing at. Any thoughts from the PFS veterans?

Joseph, Alaric's about to hit level 2, but I'd be willing to try to tackle the higher tier adventures (especially after I level up), seeing as the difficulty in these 0-level scenarios has been pretty low so far. I'm not sure where Ramli is at XP wise, but he's also at first level, with Damvorak at two and Sad Rock a bit of a mystery.
So far we have a fighter, sorc, cleric and... an oracle(?), so perhaps a skill-based character would be good (your bard-barian ferinstance). However we could really fit all three into the party. We've enough of a frontline that an archer with precise shot would have a field day. I'd just roll with whoever you feel will fit in best with out little sausage-fest of a party.

            Summing up what we have:
Twigs: Sir Alaric the Bastard, Fighter 1
Joseph: Ugnoth the Stormbringer, Bard (Thundercaller) 2
mott: Ramli, Sorcerer 1
Euan: Damvorak, Cleric 2
Pain: Sad Rock, Mystery Oread X
This puts you guys squarely in the 1-2 subtier. GRR is pretty good in either subtier. We do have room for a sixth which I haven't been able to dig up yet.

Sorry, guys, for some reason the new posts weren't showing up on my campaign tab. I'm here and will indeed be throwing in a sorcerer.
Though I may also multiclass him into a magus, I think, as I go. I know it's not optimal, but I think that might work better for my concept. I guess we'll see where he goes.
I can play two scenarios and still change everything about him, no? It's possible he can still just go straight magus. I know what I envision the character being, just trying to get the mechanics to best make him...

Alaric I saw has a javelin, but I wasn't about to DMPC him and throw that off over the water without his consent.

This week I've two units of work to write, the next due 12 hours rom now, and one 4k word assignment before I go out on my first school placement for two weeks. I'm yet uncertain where I'm going and how busy I'll be but I'll imagine I'll be pretty flat out. Feel free to bot Alaric for the search.
