Alaric's been selected to tackle the Tomb of Horrors. I'm really keen. I'm hoping to play up the noisy braggart side of his character a bit more so his inevitable grisly demise seems like karma at work. Has anybody here had a chance to play through the Tomb before? I'm curious what to expect.
Under what edition is he basing and using?
1. Expect to die horribly and quickly
2. Never stick anything in a demon's mouth
3. Don't expect to leave
Tomb of Horros
Ah, Tomb of Horrors. Good times.
1. Don't try to talk your GM into letting you try to solo it on a bored Sunday as a teenager.
2. Have a backup PC ready to go.
I did fairly well on my most recent delve during the 3.5e ruleset. I built one of those dwarven wizards who could see through earth and walls. :)

At the rate we are going, can we reasonably expect tobe done by August 14th?
At the rate we're going, I'd expect you guys to be done by July 26th. :)
Wait, I thought we finished it June 12...

Ugnoth the Stormbringer wrote: Ugnoth will join Alaric on the ground at -9 hp of Con 10. 10 Con, huh?
Uh huh. Trying for the brightest light burns shortest, huh? A front liner too?
Sad will mourn you, Uglynot.
Heh, I totally thought Ugnoth was fine with that attack because like nobody ever rolls a PC with 10 Con in PFS, right?
I did meet a 10 Con'er a few weeks ago at a gameday in July. We were playing an 7-11 and he had 30hp.
He died in round 1 before acting.
The GM informed him he took 42 damage, and I was like "oh, you're fine, right?". He shook his head, "no I'm dead!".
We pooled to raise him, but on the condition he at least bought a belt of con. :)

Supposed to be support melee...someone else (like Alaric) is meant to be the scary melee....
Looks like survival will mean im taking Toughness...
Bards need too many good stats....even when dumping Int...
With Asar's defeat, you guys are very close to done.
There's still a little more wrap-up to be had, but no further combat in this module.
Start rolling your Day Job checks, if any, here in the OOC thread and I'll start working on chronicles.
EDIT: I think only Ugnoth has a Day Job, so 4/5 chronicles sent out via Paizo.com private message based on that assumption.

When we return to town Ugnoth will proclaim his friends deeds for all to hear.
Day Job: Perform (Oratory) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Ugnoth is likely to sit out the next scenario so that he is an option for Gencon. I do believe my paladin Lemoth should have hit 3rd as well so he can tag on in...
I stand on the precipice of fatherhood for the first time, so I'll be taking a GMing break from PbPs until I know what life is like on the other side. :)

Congratulations, Panic! All the best. Thanks for a brilliant game. :)
Congrats indeed! You will be missed and we will be waiting for you again for someday!
Just FYI, I'm clearing this thread off my campaign tab. Please just drop me a PM when/if you're ready to get going again.
Ditto.
At least off my RSS feed reader.

Hrm... could you enlighten me how to do the same? I've got a lot of dead games sitting around at present.
