Adding his 187 to the 1029.7 yields him 1216.7. If he pays 1000 to enchant his armor, 25 for the other platinum ring, and 150 for his share of the wand, he will have 41.7 gold left. +8 is great. That is what Segang is. Your dex is 2 points higher than Segang's strength, which makes up for your 1oss of BAB.
Normal Masterwork Thieves tools only add +1 to disable iirc.

You could by fewer potions of healing Absinthe. The wand is a better deal per charge certainly.

Thought we discussed this earlier, but poring through the posts I can't find it (or it may have been in another game). Anyhow, will need a DM ruling. I assumed costs based on purchasing a spellbook containing the spells I wanted vice scrolls. Significantly less expensive that way (also could say I'm paying to "borrow"). A spellbook value is half the copy cost plus 15gp. Assuming full copy cost (selling at profit), we're talking 80gp total per 2nd level spell vice 190gp per spell via scroll.

"In most cases, wizards charge a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks. This fee is usually equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells might cost significantly more."
Which reminds me. I forgot to decrement cash for the learned spells in the necro spell book so that'll gut my remaining funds.

Usually, in a town with an active magic academy and library, there will be the possibility of paying a fee to access the library's tomes of magic for copying spells. Depends on the GM of course.

DM, I think we're all ready to move on. Just two questions need to be resolved that I recall:
1) Does the magic item seller have CLW wands, and if so, are they all new or are there any partially charged ones? (this obviously affects the whole group)
2) Is there a temple or chapel or faith gathering or anything of Arshea in Korvosa? (this is just for my own character)
Additionally for the Arshea cult, there's nothing pre-existing for it. If you want to flesh it out, and how Cherias interacts with it, let me know and we can fit it into the campaign, as needed.

DM NomadSage, how has the pseudodragon Majenko been doing all this time? Has he been silently following us on our adventures? I think it might be worth our time to ask him whether he knows anything about cases of plague in the city; his people live throughout it, right?
Yeah, Majenko kinda got forgotten about. We can assume he had no desire to go dungeon crawling in the catacombs, so he spent the time among his kind. Absinthe kept in touch with him through the down time. He has no news about plague... people in the city get sick fairly often.
