Byron Radanavich |

I would like to submit Byron Radanavich, a NG Half-Elven Rogue 1, for consideration :-)
I had a question: is the 'extra 100gp' on top of average starting gold, or on top of maximum starting gold?
Byron also dabbles in Harrow, and usually has his favorite deck somewhere about his person.
Byron washed-up on the island of Old Korvosa, and for the next few years, struggled to survive; begging, stealing, doing the occasional odd-job, and trying to avoid the cities predators, both the day and night varieties...
The only real relief he had was watching the antics of the city's pseudodragons; the tiny, winged creatures embodied a carefree freedom that was sorely lacking in his own life. Over time, he was able to befriend some of them, and life became a little more bearable.
As he grew older, he was attracted to the church of Sarenrae; the gentle priests of the Dawnflower had a special interest in the poor of the city, ministering to those who did not have the strength, guile, or political clout to survive on their own. This sense of kindness and the belief in the inherent goodness of all sentient creatures touched the troubled heart of a young man who had had a less than gentle upbringing, and he became a fervent proponent of the Dawnflower's creed.
This led him to engage in a pilgrimage of sorts, traveling between the main centers of worship of the Dawnflower, aiding the less fortunate as best he could, on the way...
...eventually, he washed-up in Absalom, 'The City At The Center Of The World', where he found that there was much to be done.
