Don't forget your +1 from the cleric. Also, isn't groonk one of your followers? :> Maybe he can eat the bullet for you if he rolls 10+?
I am one of your followers! I don't have the time to react with a defend, but he'd be willing to jump in if allowed.
At the very least, he'd be willing to make a marionette out of your corpse to inspire the troops with.

Sometimes I wish my powers were more defined. I always worry if they are too powerful or too weak.
I also hate the idea of being a one-trick pony, but sometimes I don't have the mental energy to create another all-powerful-spell-that-I-haven't-used-before.
I'm just whining. That's my excuse. =)
Also, Bipperty might be a dad by now, so we'll probably not here from him for a little while. But give him a quick six years and I bet he'll be back to speed. =)

So I was thinking of taking the Multiclass Dabbler move to get the Battlemaster's Gambit move.
What class is that from so I can look it up/what does it do?

As for what it does,
When you or someone you have a bond with takes damage from
an outside source, it was part of your plan the whole time, gain
+1 Gambit. What some might see as an unwanted setback, you
know it's merely a stratagem to gain a later advantage.
At any time, reveal your ploy and use Gambits to:
• Add +1 to anyone's roll (Cost: 1)
• Deal your damage to an enemy (Cost: 2)
• Create an obstacle or distraction that a single enemy has to deal
with before they can do anything else (Cost: 3)
• The GM will help you reveal a trap, ambush, or plan that gives
you and your allies a surprising advantage (Cost: 4)
Multiple Gambits can be used and the effects stack. After the end
of a battle or when it makes sense, your Gambit count resets to 0.
Two 7-9 results might give me a bad day, unfortunately. I'm going to pay for encouraging Groonk to knock over this tower, I'm sure.

Don't be too jelly, I only have like 12 hours of actual PTO. Paternity leave just means "We won't fire you for not showing up and not getting paid for a short time."
Sounds like me! I'm on year 8 at my job, and my PTO has accrued to... 0! :)
Granted, they instead give me a good raise every year (50 cents every year since I hired on!), and even a quarter an hour is worth more than a few hours of paid time.

Grim World. There's a pdf in the recruitment thread of the Grim World playbooks. I got in on the kickstarter, and it's one of the two book I really wanted to try. (The other is playing a large, intelligent spider that I bought separately Obviously, a goblin spider wouldn't work.)
I know a real life goblin spearman who would stop making my drinks if I did anything else.

I love how my presence in the game is leading to goblin-spider hybrids. It's a fun little playbook, built mostly for jumping, using webbing, and poisoning. Also uses a mechanic that requires you to inject and drain sustenance from living victims. You know, spider things.
Might make an interesting choice for one of the multiclass abilities.
