From an RP perspective I can see Squick being really good at blazing a trail, as long as stealth is not a concern.

I just realized that my alignment is Chaotic , not Evil. Does that matter to you? If so, I will need an Evil option.


Doesn't matter, Chaotic is equally applicable to goblins. Do you have an associated alignment move for gaining XP? That's the important thing.

My starting ideas for bonds are:
• Haluk does not trust me, and for good reason. Possibly due to some slightly blasphemous chants I sang once.

•I am writing a ballad about the adventures of Squick. Cause a goblin with a flamethrower is awesome.

As for Retzack, I'm a bit stumped. Possible choices are

This is not my first adventure with _______________.

I sang stories of _______________ long before I ever met them in person.

_______________ is often the butt of my jokes.

_______________ trusted me with a secret.

Not too keen on the second one, not having met Retzack while living in the same tribe seems a stretch.


You may also write up custom bonds! The bonds that are on the SRD don't take into account the fact that you're goblins. Feel free to imagine any interaction between your characters that you like and write up a bond accordingly.

Is there some game effect that we need to take into account when making Bonds? Or is this just narritive fluff to enhance RP?

@Blibberblab, It's feasible that you sang songs of Retzack before meeing him since it is a large clan, and Retzack is notoriously reclusive and difficult to talk to (he even ignores his own followers).
Or # 4 is fine. I could come up with the secret, if you like.

#3 I just...just would not...I don't think...would go well. =)


You roll +# of Active Bonds when you use Aid Another. Also, when you resolve Bonds (during the End of Session move) you gain XP!

I suspect Retzack to be an unbeliever, further investigation is needed.

Squick conducts many dangerous experiments with greater faith will come greater protection from the gods.

I hardly ever post on the weekends, it's just not an active forum time. It's Monday though, so here we go!

Back to campaign stuff, how is the End of Session move going to be handled?


I'll do the End of Session move at the same time I would normally do that move in a RL game - when it makes sense in the fiction.

Alright, so I'm leaning towards Chaos: Tuti likes to spread nature. Which clearly means destroying human stuff. And goblin stuff. And stuff. But some of the stuff is an accident. She especially hates road markers and signs.

Born of the Soil tells me to gain a tell based on my homeland, or be marked by the spirits of my homeland. I'm leaning strongly towards Chlorophyl being a pervasive part of her system now. She doesn't need to eat or drink because she's a druid, but maybe she's just green. Always green. Because her forms have Chlorophyl rather than their normal skin pigments?

I say strongly, because I can't think of anything else that's fitting.

For the free move:

Thing-Talker

You see the spirits in the sand, the sea and the stone. You may now apply your spirit tongue, shapeshifting and studied essence to inanimate natural objects (plants and rocks) or creatures made thereof, as well as animals. Thing-talker forms can be exact copies or can be mobile vaguely humanoid-shaped entities.

I mean, it's in her name, right?

As for bonds... I'll look into those. :)

Also, with that 8 Charisma, I figure she's the sweetest, nicest little goblin that ever existed. And that's why everyone hates her, because if she really loved them, she'd try to crush their skulls. Kindness is not a goblin-like behavior. Also, she tastes like vegetables. That's gotta be a net negative.

Background isn't done. Bonds don't make sense, as I'm thinking she happens upon the party and wants to help!

It makes sense for a gobbo druid to be living as a random hermit in the woods. I have no problems with how your character was introduced.

Retzack, Blilibobab, Haluk, Green Ranger. That's four of us, so that's 3 followers each. The one left over can go any way, either Haluk because he doesn't have many, or Blib-blab-bliblioblab because he rolled so well to get them all. My vote is for Bliblyblab for his roll, but whatever. =)

Same thing for gold. Do we really use loot? My followers...have little need for material goods, so feel free to split it up as you would. *evil grin*

Talks is, for all intents and purposes, until outed (probably about to be outed), a slave. So it's more like there are 4 slaves (errr, followers) for each of you, one person gets and extra, and one gets talks. :P

I could use a shield, otherwise I have little use for loot. Perhaps we can save it and as our meatshields goblin assistants earn it, they can receive actual equipment.

So after much debate (between 4 different classes), I've settled on Necromancer (from Grim World). :) Can't have all those wonderful corpses go to waste. Some might need some stitching back together but that's nothing that can't be fixed :)
