Since I didn't make it to the live session, how much XP do us no shows get?

Oskar Griesgram |

Yes, I agree. Lets check out this whole place. Also, we're not sure we can get out, so we shouldn't leave enemies at our backs.

Meyanda *NPC* |

"I don't know, but I am completely free of his influence. Who knows what a divine intelligence can or can't do," Meyanda shrugs nonchalantly at the conundrum, considering it academic.

Razorend |

Razorend smiles at Meyanda's apparent euphoria at being free of Hellion. "Now that it is gone, completely gone, have any more locked memories been opened up? Do you remember anything more about this Cassandalee, whatever Unity is or was, or Iadenveigh?"

DM Fflash |

Completing your search of this level, you run through three rooms.
Great Cavern
While you saw this room from the topside, you never entered it until now. And while the dirt and gravel makes movement treacherous across the top of the recently excavated tops of the excavator wheels, you're able to uncover what appears to be Draig's lair. A quick search uncovers a leather bag containing 390 silverdisks, 11 batteries and a pair of timeworn magboots with Charges: 1d10 ⇒ 1.
Tatterface's Domain
Several filthy nests made of rags and reeking scraps of fur lie scattered across the damp floor of this cave. A quick and revolting search recovers nothing that you'd ever want to see again, let alone take with you.
The Pool
A forest of foul-smelling, dripping stalactites hang over a large bubbling pool of noxious-seeming fluid in this cave. Some of the stalactites have grown all the way down to the surface of the fluid. Above calcified ribbons trace the path these slowly dribbling fluids have taken over the years from the partially buried metal structure to the north.

Meyanda *NPC* |

"I do recall now. He had me researching Cassandalee and where she might have gone, specifically to find her neurocam which he was convinced contained Unity's weaknesses. I had started that research and it appears Kulgara uncovered more, like this town of Iadenveigh, which I know nothing of."
She looks at Razorend for a moment and then applies a pleading look, or at least what she thinks is one, and then asks, "But if they are anything like Hellion, they deserve to be destroyed! And if this Unity can make androids and then force them to do his bidding, as Hellion did, don't we have an obligation to free them from their slavery as you did yours and all of you helped me to escape mine?"

Urgeon Porpentine |

Urgeon will search and will detect magic in each of the three areas.
Perception, Great Cavern: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Perception, Tatterface's Domain: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Perception, The Pool: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Urgeon points at the pool. "Something is in there."
He cautiously takes a closer look.

I'll cover Urgeon in his search of the pool.

Razorend |

She looks at Razorend for a moment and then applies a pleading look, or at least what she thinks is one, and then asks, "But if they are anything like Hellion, they deserve to be destroyed! And if this Unity can make androids and then force them to do his bidding, as Hellion did, don't we have an obligation to free them from their slavery as you did yours and all of you helped me to escape mine?"
Razorend nods, "I agree. I had a similar thought when we learned Hellion's true nature, though it was clear he was evil and needed to be put down. We will have to find this Cassandalee and any others Unity created and try to free them, if we can. We need to learn more about Unity also."

Urgeon detects no magic at all
Churlish Chuul Surprise Round
Initiative: Razorend, Chuul, Urgeon, Ridic, Kovax, Oskar, Meyanda (rolled it in Roll20, way easier ... will do that from now on since there is a macro)
OK, gave everyone enough time to roll, those that didn't were preoccupied with conversation or rocks in the wall and are surprised, annotated with strikethroughs above
Urgeon walks in to check the noxious pool closer as Ridic joins him, Oskar elbows him aside and turns to chastise the wizard in his blatant disregard for safety when the pool explodes violently in a shower of fluid. A reddish-orange lobster-like creature rears out and grabs the dwarf, hauling him towards his tentacled maw, crushing him all the while. The creature has a thick armored shell and a pair of tiny eyes gleaming above its mouth and writhing tentacles.

Hearing the combat, Razorend curses his distraction and rushes in. He draws his kukri and attacks. His kukri shimmers as it moves, partially phased out to bypass armor.

Churlish Chuul Round 1
Initiative: Razorend, Chuul, Urgeon, Ridic, Kovax, Oskar, Meyanda
Urgeon blasts the creature with a couple of stinging missiles and Ridic cracks a small gap in the creature's shell
Razorend leaps into the fray his blade going straight through the shell as if it wasn't there and ripping through the soft flesh under neath. The chuul chitters deeply in pain and anger then utters a barely intelligble word, "OWWWWW! HUUUUURRRT!!"
Oskar takes the distracting moment to free himself from the claw, knowing that normally he would be unable to do so. He falls unceremoniously to the ground, bleeding and crushed and then moves away slightly.
The chuul turns its attention to Razorend and clicks both claws menacingly before it darts forward to grab the android crushing him between his claws and pulling him forward to his maw.

Churlish Chuul Round 1 (cont)
Initiative: Razorend, Chuul, Urgeon, Ridic, Kovax, Oskar, Meyanda
Urgeon fires off a couple more bolts and Ridic takes another swing, this one ineffective. Oskar takes a moment to scramble away and heal himself. Kovax enters a rage and rushes forward, his chain banging off the carapace of the creature.
Razorend slashes and stabs with wild abandon getting a blow in before the creature crushes him some more and then passes him to his tentacles which pull around the android as the creature's mandibles click at him.

Oskar and Meyanda splash in to the water to retrieve Razorend, Meyanda hitting him with a healing spell and bringing him to consciousness.
However, the noxious fluids get to them all and they feel nauseous, causing gag reflexes and the occasional spew of vomit.

Oskar Griesgram |

I'm not sure we should go further this night. I say we try to make our way out and try to tackle the rest after we gather our strength.

Ridic Slaranack |

I have several healing spells left. I will cast all of them to heal in order of need, starting with Razor.
