The Giantslayer Adventure Path begins in the fortified town of Trunau in the southern part of the Hold of Belkzen. A series of strange events trouble the beleaguered town. At the town’s request, the PCs must uncover the source behind these events and step in to save the town from forces which seek an end to Trunau and it's peoples.

For the first time feeling true alarm at the sheer number of the enemies they now face, the catfolk knows that if they simply rush in, they will be easily slaughtered. But with the flames behind them, the orcs would have no chance to flank and would be forced to come at them from just one direction...that idea in mind, Songan shouts aloud,"Hold! Stay against the fire!"

Delia nods at Songan's suggestion, she takes the time to prepare herself for the coming battle... She whispers to Erastil and touches her hand to her quiver, magical ensuring that she will have enough arrows to rain destruction upon the orcs before her. Suddenly her skin seems to take an orangish-hue and faint, shadowy black lines appear across her flesh... "Hold boy, hold. Defend me." She says to Jace, who growls and twitches his tail in a violent motion...

Standard - Casting Abundant Ammunition on her quiver. Swift - Activating Animal Focus: Tiger for +2 Dex. Free - Handle Animal to have Jace Defend Delia.

Jace will full attack the first orc that comes within reach. I'll post his attacks below, if applicable, to save time.

Delia begins casting her magicks, her prayers to Erastil sending a soft glow over her, momentarily brightening the night. Jace hunches down, ready to strike as the first orc approaches. Heedless to the danger, the orcs begin rushing forwards, their ferocious voices adding to the cacophony of beating drums and burning trees.

Orc A rushes Groin, swinging it's Falchion: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 hard into his wounded side, doing Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 3) + 4 = 8.

Orc C swings behind the first, intent upon charging Groin. As such, it fails to notice Jace lunging out from the shadows. The orc sidesteps more in reaction to the growling than in seeing the danger, the warcat finding no success against the warrior. In reply the orc swings his Spiked Chain: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 back at the cat, attempting to drive it back, missing high in the process.

Orc L moves quickly up and around the others, finding himself facing off with the growling warcat and a ponderous sloth. Seeing the pair of sizeable creatures, the orc fails to make a strike with it's double axe, instead sizing up his opposition, watching for the chance to strike.

Can we see him or is he fully concealed within the tower walls?

"No time!" is Songan's answer to Leira's shout.

Quickly weaving a familiar pattern in the air, he holds his hands out at the ground in front of the group and, suddenly, a layer of slippery grease materializes in the narrow gap between the buildings in front of them; hopefully enough to catch at least some of the orcs that are doubtless about to come charging at them off guard. Anything that could do to thin the coming assault would be beneficial.

Cast Grease on the square that has the C and A in it on the map; the 10' area between the two buildings, then use a move action to get off of the front line and let one of the melee fighters take his place. Actually, if it's possible, I would like Songan to get to the building nearest the party and climb up to the roof. If he can't get that far in one move action, he'll get next to the building to be ready to climb it next turn.


I will hold Dundin's action for his turn, unless situations change in the interim. Regarding the drummer, no you cannot see the drummer to strike at him. He is atop the tower, roughly 50-60' in height, on the rooftop platform, so from this angle you have no clear shot. The picture was provided for reference purposes. Also, yes, Leira did manage to cast Enlarge Person on Dundin. Please notate your spells used accordingly.

Adir begins to grow larger, the better to match his dwarven ally, focusing on the words and letting Tuzak guard the line as they have practiced.

Songan moves to better the groups chances at survival. With a hacking, guttural utterance, a sudden eruption of a greasy green slime covers the area before the band, coating the ground and two very upset orcs. Reflex Save A: 1d20 ⇒ 3 fails, falling down and Reflex Save C: 1d20 ⇒ 18 successful. The look and smell of the slime is consistent with grass-chewed hairballs, though in the sudden fury of battle, no one seems to make the connection. The feline caster then quickly Climbs: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 the nearby home, barely reaching the roof, the walls far more flimsy and battered than first thought. The wall is roughly 15', the roof peaks along the middle, the thatching sloping down to the front and back where the walls are lower.

The drummer above continues beating on his drums, the tempo increasing, alerting the troops to the danger in their midst. His bellows and snarls are indistinguishable at this distance, but he seems to be yelling down at someone within the tower.

Orc Warrior B comes rushing out of the nearby home, a double axe strapped to his back. At his side is a composite shortbow, which he quickly draws up and lines out a shot at the massed defenders. He lines up a Shot: 1d7 ⇒ 2 at Tuzak, letting loose an Arrow: 1d20 + 1 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 4 - 4 = -3 which flies low as his comrade steps back into view, the head grounding into the dirt, the shaft snapping apart.

Orc Warrior F likewise has a shoulder slung double axe, but instead of a bow, he grabs at a small quiver of three javelins, Throwing: 1d20 + 1 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 1 - 4 - 4 = 5 One at: 1d7 ⇒ 2 Tuzak as well, also missing due to the cluster of allies engaging the band.

Orc Warrior K rushes to aid his comrades, unslinging his greataxe, failing to notice the slime coating the ground. As the orc steps into the goo, he Acrobatically slips: 1d20 ⇒ 12 and slides across the mess, ending as he reaches safe ground on the other side, his boots covered in the greasy green film. Standard move to reach the slime, hitting it half move across.

Leira nods satisfied at the great job made by Songan and his skill to climb up the buildings roof.

With great risk to her own life, Leira steps east just in front of the orcs and Tuzak. Trying to avoid being hit she casts the burning hands as she has seen in her dreams.

Leira steps up and sends out a flash of fiery destruction between the buildings, almost as though channeling the fires of the burning trees behind her. There is a rush and whoomp as the air before the group is consumed in the blast, each orc bursting into flames, their equipment and clothing momentarily ignited by the scorching magicks. Unsteadily, they stumble, nearly dead on their feet yet too stubborn or too stupid to realize it.

Tuzak winces back from the blast, Adir never training him to surge into flames, but as the burst ends the sloth rears up and strikes, tearing down the orc before him, defending his master. The orc, dazed by the blast, screams in pain and terror, as much as from Tuzak's razor claws as from the flames, dying nearly instantly. The abruptly cut off scream lingers on the air longer than would seem right, a shiver running across the plaza, reminding everyone of how quickly it can all be over.

Orc Warrior E rushes out of the nearby building, javelin in hand. The orc seems to take a measure of pride being the first to have a clear shot, and Throws: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 2 - 4 = 2 one at Leira, now unblocked by an orc ally. Fortunately for Leira, the gods are watching and the flash of fire she cast left lingering motes of dazzle in the warrior's eyes, his throw arcing over her head and into the burning tree beyond.

Warrior G eschews his orcish bolas, instead drawing his greataxe and rushing to help his burning allies. Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 10, he moves into the area, slipping across the grease to land standing atop the slashed remains of orc L. He glares angrily at Leira and Tuzak, unsure which one to attack first. Double move to reach this point

Orc Warrior J comes out of the southern building more cautious than his companions, dragging a long spiked chain. He sees the danger of the slippery grease and moves slowly, pulling out some strange burlap and leather bag, the seems leaking a sticky black tar-like substance. He begins to spin it around his head, trying to build up speed to throw it.

Dundin utters a dwarvish battle cry, moving up behind the others. He grunts at Leira to duck, swinging over her head at the arriving fresh orc. His new axe deals Damage: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6, 4) + 5 = 20, lopping the snarling beastman's head right off above the shoulders. With a satisfying thump, the foul orc's snarl ends up atop the charred dead orc's arse, a goodly sight to embarrass both creatures on the road to Pharasma's justice.

Groin steps up and swings his Warhammer: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 at C, striking hard for Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8, the smack taking the warrior across the brow ridge and felling him.

Sorry, the missing +2 comes from my magical trait, focused mind, which came from Leira's intense lessons on magical objects provided by her mommy.
I have a break out of the concentration bonus under the spells section in her profile.

Leira jumps on place suddenly surprised by the flames and then the axe flying over her head. She suddenly realises of the danger when the orcs' javelins start to fly around her.


Jace moves up and with a single paw swipe takes down the nearly dead orc warrior. The warcat then turns and roars a challenge out at the other orcs standing nearby.

Delia holds her shot at the last moment, seeing Jace finish off the nearby orc. She pivots and launches it instead at J, the arrow punching deep into the orc's shoulder and out the other side. The orc staggers against the shot, nearly dropping the spinning bag swinging over his head. Staggered

Orc Warrior A, down on the ground and severely burned, lashes out at Groin with a Vicious Kick: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 that fails wildly, the orc's eyes glazing over as several of the burns tear open and the singed wounds begin bleeding, the orc's eyes turning dull and dark, it's life force draining away.

From his higher vantage point, Songan moves to the edge of the roof, until he can see the fight going on below him; as he moves, he nocks an arrow to the string of his bow; this fight was ending up not quite as bad as he'd feared it would be, thanks be to Desna! Drawing back the bowstring, he snaps off a shot at orc staggered by Delia.

Free action to activate Archaeologist's Luck. 3/7 rounds remaining for the day.

Adir moves up, narrowly skirting the Grease by pressing past Groin, his shoulder rubbing painfully against the nearby building, the support scratching and digging into his body. He thrusts his spear forcefully into E, then just as forcefully jerks it back free. Blood and entrails follow the heavy point, and the orc Staggers from the assault.

Songan takes aim and sends an arrow into the neck of the wounded orc Delia had already wounded, the shaft protruding dangerously close to the creature's spine. The orc snarls and reaches up, snapping the shaft from just behind the head, then pulls it free of his neck. His eyes seem to glaze over as the thundering drums seem to increase in rhythm and cadence, the pounding echoed by orcish beating hearts, a rage climbing within them.

The orc drummer is pounding hard now, tilting his log drum to use the tower to further echo his performance, an inspiring song of orcish blood rites, incensing the warriors into a mindless rage. Skaldic Inspired Rage

Orc Warrior B turns his attentions to the archer on the roof, firing an Arrow: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11 at Songan, missing high in his anger and haste.

Orc Warrior F dispenses with javelins, instead Charging Adir as he draws his doubleaxe and wades into combat. The Blade: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 is blocked aside as Adir readies himself, shoving the blow back and stalling the warrior's advance.

Archers from within the tower likewise take shots at Songan, a First: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10, then Second: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8, and lastly a Third: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11, each failing to find the mark. They remain hidden behind arrow slits along the second or third levels of the tower.

Leira's spell flashes before Orc J, Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12, the orc momentarily forgetting itself, it's mind foggy and confused.

Orc Warrior E grabs up his falchion and swings hard at Adir, Slash: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7, the druid easily sidestepping the heavy blade, leaving it to cut a small furrow in the dirt before him.

Groin grabs a throwing axe from off his belt and tosses it quickly at Orc J, the throw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 catching the distracted orc in the chest for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8, dropping it first to it's knees, then the ground, dead before it could register the hit. The leathery bag it had been preparing to throw drops with a thump beside it, a bit of gooey tar leaking around the seams and half pulled ripcord.

Groin then moves up a 5' step to support Adir, fearing the other rushing orcs will be too much for the lone man to finish without help.

Dundin's new axe cuts a deep gash in Orc F's side, hacking through a few ribs and into his vital organs, the shock of the strike leaving the orc Staggered. The sense of victory is short-lived as additional orcs pour forth from the surrounding buildings. An orc steps out of the building guarding Dundin's flank, greataxe in hand. Dundin reacts instinctively, Swinging backhanded: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 and catching the orc across the midsection for Damage: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 6, 5) + 5 = 17, nearly cleaving the orc in twain. The orc staggers a few steps, lunges using all his remaining strength, his Greataxe: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 cutting Dundin's own thigh for Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16, deep to the bone, as the orc dies, smiling a bloody, lifeless smile.

Orc H charges across the plaza at Adir, swinging a Spiked Chain: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 but missing wide as he jerks it back to avoid clipping Orc E in the wind up.

Adir watched the orc rushing him, easily avoids the rusty metal chain, noticing the well sharpened edges, and stabs out with his Spear: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7, Confirmation: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15, missing only as the chain's backswing catches the shaft and deflects it into the dirt. The orc warrior snarls at the big human, We make you dinner, pinkskin, stretch your guts for giant's garters.

Orc I comes rushing forth, dragging a young girl, maybe twelve or thirteen years of age. She is covered in dirt, blood, and other fluids not likely her own. He takes his falchion and roughly rakes it across her throat, ending her sobbing as a gout of life blood spurts out over the grounds in a horrid fountain. Her young body drops to the ground as he rushes towards Adir, a feral grin on his tusked face, the bloody falchion raised high.

Adding to the growing dangers, three more orcs pour out of the tower, fully taken by the power of the skald's drums. 1 and 2 are armed with greataxes while 3 is carrying a readied shortbow. All three howl with excitement, crying out Grenseldek's gold for the fair hair's head.

Songan's arrow lodges itself in the orcish archer's throat before deflecting down into the warrior's torso. A normal man would have been felled by the shot, the angry orc, only staggered slightly. The orc draws another arrow from his quiver, ignoring the blood slowly pumping out around the shaft, it's eyes focused on it's hated foes.

Adir's spear punches quickly in and out of Orc E's chest, rupturing it's lung and flooding it's throat with blood and gore. Choking the creature stumbles a step and collapses, gagging and vomiting it's last breath into the dirt.

Delia moves forward to get a better view of the shifting battlefield, stopping next to Jace. She spots one of the orcs nearby and lets an arrow loose towards it! She then directs Jace to attack the nearest orc to him. The warcat lets out a roar and carefully picks his way across the slippery surface, barely making it across before biting his directed target!

Delia attacks Orc F. If her attack does not kill Orc F, then Delia directs Jace to attack that one. If it does kill F, then she directs him to kill Orc H.

Delia's arrow punches deep into Orc F's chest, dropping the dying warrior to the ground, ending it's struggle to still stand and fight. The huntress smiles as yet another orc falls to her team's advance.

Jace, hesitant to cross the greasy field smelling of wet fur, moves slowly and steadily, unnoticed by the raging orcs focusing on Adir. The cat lashes out with a strong paw, nearly gutting Orc H. The creature staggers from the blow, then bats the cat back with the jerking of it's spiked chain.

The orcish drummer high atop the tower continues his heavy rhythmic pounding, the hollow log covered in taunt human skins throbbing out the beating of rage now overwhelming the orcish attackers within and surrounding the tower.

Orc Warrior B again launches an Arrow: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 at Songan but the catfolk easily ducks under the shot. The feline flips his tail tauntingly at the orcish archers, amateurs outclassed when it comes to hitting as cunning a target as himself.

Leira's shot takes the orc high across the arm, tracing a bloody furrow along his outstretched forearm. The sight of what she first thought was the Twisted Nail symbol painted on their armor turned to confusion and dread as she saw instead of simply the jagged nail, but the nail piercing a bloody heart, the reformed Twisted Hearts clan. And if that were true, then somewhere, out there, there should be giants.

Dundin, paying little attention to his comrades, continues his wide swings, nearly clipping the enlarged Adir in his bloodlust for orcish heads to feed to his axe. The spry druid avoids the blow but calls out to the dwarf to watch out, there are more yet to come. Heedless, the dwarf watches in satisfaction as Orc H collapses from the deep blow left by his new weapon.

Yet, she reloads her crossbow with another bolt, certain the group will keep advancing until there is no more drumming punishing the area.

Tuzak makes his way carefully across the greasy ground until he can reach an orc.

Tuzak moves over across the greasy field, shuffling heavily past and over Jacen. The thick sloth moves up and takes a swipe at Orc B, but the residual grease covering his paws and dew pads causes him to slip, and to miss with the blow. The poor sloth lands roughly on his belly, momentarily stunned. Had Orc B been ready with his blade, he may have had a strike, but the great sloth rises up again, angry at the tumble.

Groin moves by the enlarged Adir, taking his Warhammer: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 too high to hit the killer Orc I, his rage at the death of the young girl affecting his skills.

Orc I turns his own rage and bloodlust next towards Odds/Evens: 1d6 ⇒ 6 Groin, his Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 cutting low under the man's backstep, missing in much the same manner as did the warrior's a moment previously. She you mate? She scream gooooodahhh, the orc spits out, his grin wide, his tusks stained yellow and black with dripping traces of blood and saliva.

Orc 1 rushes ahead towards Tuzak, swinging his Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 at the sloth, missing as Tuzak lumbers up from it's previous stumble.

Orc 2 tries to aid it's comrade, yelling hey duk, metz geyg shun while attacking with it's own Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25, Confirmation: 1d26 ⇒ 7, slicing a deep cut across the rearing beast's right back leg for Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 2) + 4 = 8. Blood splatters everywhere as Tuzak mewls loudly in pain, a feeling the normally gentle creature has rarely ever experienced. The orcs howl in joy, whooping and crying out at the display, their excitement dancing in their glassy black eyes.

Orc 3 takes careful aim, watching Songan delicately perch atop the roofing shingles ahead, then let's fly with a Bowshot: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 not at Songan, but instead lower over at Groin, the arrow whizzing dangerously close, narrowly off above the human's unprepared head.

Roughly bursting out of the tower, another orc tumbles into the courtyard, attempting to make a grand entrance. The creature stands a bit taller than the others, spinning a massive orcish double axe deftly about his hands and forearms in a display meant to cause fear and awe, but largely unnoticed as your band remains focused on individual foes at the moment.

Two arrow shots fly out from within the tower, the First: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 falling low and striking the house at some point below Songan's position, the Second: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 however finding it's mark, striking for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5. Songan looks down at the rough stone broad head, it's point having passed right through the thicker part of his outer thigh before stopping just short of the fletching. From within the tower an orcish hoot and holler goes up, the archer calling out her success at being the first to wound the lithe cat-man.

Songan gives a loud yowl of pain when the arrow pierces his leg, and he glares at the tower across the way. With his higher vantage, he is quite possibly the only one of the group aware of the new threat posed by the larger half-orc with the double axe.

Though his leg screams at him to seek vengeance for the assault upon it, he turns his bow to what he perceives as the larger threat against the group as a whole, the last bit of his "luckish" feeling used as he nocks arrow to string and lets fly!

Songan's arrow punches deep into the tall orcish warrior's eye socket, a burst of grey chunks and gore splattering the tower wall behind it as much of the creature's brain now oozes out towards the ground. The body, animate now mostly by it's own existing rage, stumbles forwards a step, then another, then hoists it's double axe high before dropping inanimate to the ground. The heavy bladed weapon pitches forward end over end, landing blade down in the dirt, a few feet behind Orc Warrior B. The drums miss a beat, the orcs pause a moment in their reverie, shocked at the sudden easy death of one of their finest champions. They turn their despair inwards, fueling their anger, and lash out once more with calls to Grenseldek and the Blood God to take you all, In fire and in death...

Orc Warrior 4 we hardly knew ye. Great shot.

Jace moves up and in one large ripping bite, takes the throat out of Orc 2, a rush of blood spewing forth and covering the warcat's fur. He then rips into the torso with both claws, tearing the body apart with extreme force.

Delia takes aim and launches an arrow into the body of Orc 1, the shaft skimming over top Tuzak's furry form. The warrior seems surprised at the arrow quivering out of it's chest, stumbling back a moment, Staggered by the attack. His falchion falters a bit, the parrying swings slowing as it fends off the sloth and warily watches out for Dundin's heavy axe.

Adir's spear thrust nearly punches through Orc I's hard boiled leather breastplate, but is turned at the last as the creature twists aside to better confront both adversaries. Ohh you not so tough, big dumb huuhhh...

High above, the orcish drummer continues his hard driving beat, the drum rhythms pounding against the temples of everyone present. While the noise distracts the defenders of Trunau, it seems to urge on the attacking orcs, their pulses quickening, their fervor growing stronger, their violence more harsh and destructive.

Orc B takes a 5' step back away from Dundin's reach, and launches an Arrow: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 at the dwarf, nearly puncturing his side if not for his heavy cloak catching and slowly the shot.

Tuzak's clawing attack pushes the orc back a moment, allowing the sloth to shift to a better position. The raking attack seems to have injured the orc more than suspected, as he becomes wobbly on his feet, now Staggered and slowing in his press against the great animal.

Groin takes a 5' step to move around Orc I, making it harder for the murderer to keep both adversaries in view. He swings his Warhammer: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19, catching him strong in the shoulder for Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11, crushing the orc's forearm and forcing him to wield his falchion one handed, Staggered from the pain. No she was not my mate, she was a daughter of Trunau, and you will pay for her death...

Leira's effect washes over Orc I, Will Save: 1d20 ⇒ 12, the murderer momentarily distracted from his bloodlust, pausing against the battle he was waging against Adir and Groin.

Orc Warrior 1 takes a 5' step away from Dundin, swinging his Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 at Tuzak, the blow missing a step to the sloth's side.

Orc Warrior 3 loads his bow and Launches: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 an arrow at Dundin, missing high as the shot flies past the enlarged dwarf's shoulder.

Orc Warrior 5 launches an Arrow: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 from inside the tower at Dundin, fearing the fighter might bring his axe squeezing inside the tower.

Delia sighs in relief as Jace takes down the orc in a vicious mauling. She takes a quick look at the battlefield and moves along the edge of the grease field, then bypasses it along the corner of the nearby house towards the northeast. Once in her new position, she takes aim at the orc attacking Tuzak and lets her arrow fly!

Delia then whistles loudly for Jace, who glances over his shoulder at his master. She points at the orc with the bow near the tower. "Jace, kill!" The warcat roars and rushes between Dundin and Tuzak as he charges toward the orc. Jace's massive maw lashes out and bites down hard on the archer orc!

Anger on his face, but tears on his cheeks for the life of the young woman lost, Adir tries to finish off the taunting orc before moving towards the tower.

Delia, focusing on the battle moves closer around the grease to get a better view of the situation. She calls out to Jace, giving him commands, not noticing a situation developing behind her.

The arrow shot Delia loosed hits cleanly, almost finishing off the orc attacking Tuzak, the orc stumbling as it pulls the arrow free, only to have the sloth's defensive shove send it sprawling to the ground, it's life nearing an end. It lashes out with one feeble swing at Jace as the warcat rushes by, the Falchion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 coming free of it's dead hands and tumbling along with the warcat, the orc never seeing if the strike was successful or not.

Jace sprints across the courtyard and tears into the orcish archer before it can react, taking a large bite out of the warrior's thigh. It screams loudly and in pain, blood freely flowing down it's leather leggings and into its boot, overflowing on to the ground. The orc is Staggered, the bow dropping from it's hands as it grasps around for a weapon to defend itself.

Adir shoves his enlarged shortspear into and through the murderous orc's torso, the dazed creature registering the blow but a moment as it's life over as it's entrails follow the spears ripping removal from the vile orc's body. As the druid moves to help Tuzak and the others he spits at the orc, to clear himself of any taint for being so close to the horrible thing.

Behind the group, exiting from the back exit of Leira's home, a pair of half-orcs are dragging a prisoner. They see part of your group and stop, the male grabbing the prisoner close, holding a jagged blade to his throat. The other half-orc, a female, calls out for your band to clear the area or the prisoner dies. From her appearance, you surmise she is most likely Urnsul , making the other her rumored lover Vorom . Their prisoner is one recognizable to Leira, a part time assistant of her mothers, an elderly uncle of sorts to herself, an 72 year old human man, Petrus Abertus.

Here now is part of the cabal that sent Trunau down this road to attack and ruin. These conspirators have stumbled into your midst, and they continue their subversive acts against the town and it's peoples. Help me please, Petrus calls, the blade running a thin red line across his throat, Don't let them take me...
