Delia stirs from her temporary stupor and takes aim at the orcs approaching their position from the gate. Her arrow streaks from her bow towards the orc in her direct line of sight. "Help me take the one down! We must plug the hole somehow!"

Songan makes a mental note to buy some more arrows as soon as he gets a chance...and also, to hope that buying arrows is a thing that can happen once the night is over. Also, he was going to need some kind of salve for his arms. He'd never fired so many arrows in his life!
All these thoughts cross his mind as he swiftly pulls another arrow from his quiver, draws the bowstring back, takes quick aim at the first orc in the line to his vision (I), and releases.

Dundin hefts his large spear and holds it at the ready, braced to his side, watching over the approach to the barricade.
Leira tosses out a small burst of mystical light, a dazzling burst of colors shaped like a spark of multi-hued flame. Orc A stops,Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4 momentarily Dazed by the display, unable to act any further.
Brampton capitalizes on Leira's efforts, and thrusts out with his polearm, piercing Orc A's breastplate and stopping the warrior's heart. A violent jerk causes the orc to collapse as muscle, blood, and bone spray out following the sharpened steel exiting the gaping chest wound. The young soldier then shouts taunts at the approaching orcs, himself succumbing to a form of blood lust common to warriors on the lines, adrenaline and fear mixing to shield the mind from the horrors often on display around them.
Delia fires off an arrow at Orc H, catching the warrior deep in the left side, the sharpened and pierced head protruding out it's back, dripping blood and bile from a likely punctured kidney and intestines. The orc stumbles, moving slower, Staggered in pain and shock.
Jace readies himself crouching upon the barricade, eager to strike at any of the orcs that approach the makeshift barrier.
Songan mirrors Delia's efforts, firing an arrow at Orc I, the warrior flexing aside as the point skids across his shoulder, taking a furrow of damage, some torn armor, but little other effect.
Omast, like Jace, holds ready behind the barricade for any orcs to approach under the arms of the larger defenders.
Adir and Tuzak continue to stand ready in Total Defense, anchoring the northeastern end of the barricade.
As Orc Warrior G Charges ahead of his alley to close on the barricade, Dundin sees his opportunity and strikes hard with his readied spear, taking the orc right through the throat. The orc collapses in a bloody, gurgling heap, gasping and gagging as his life is drowned out by his own spilling blood.
Orc H takes a halting 5' step forward and hurls a Javelin: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 at Dundin, but stumbles from his wounded side, the weapon flying off overhead into the night.
Orc I steps aside, following H, taking up a Composite Shortbow: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18, scoring a hit on the enlarged dwarf for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 as the wickedly barbed and shyte covered shaft barely nicks across his bearded neck, flecks of the foul taint lingering in his sweat-matted whiskers.
Four other orcs rush into the open gates, angry and howling out for blood. Three of the orcs appear much as have all the others, hate filled and deranged in blood-lust. The last however seems oddly different, his eyes glassy, almost distant, as if he stares more at the great flames burning at your backs than at the thought of rending your bodies and feasting upon the flesh of Trunau's fallen citizenry.

Leira fires a bolt from her crossbow, aiming for the heart of Orc Warrior H. The hateful creature turns slightly at the last moment before impact, taking instead a grazing wound across his shoulder instead. The blow does not fell the orc, but it interferes with his aim some, as he hefts another javelin in hand.
Delia's attempt to harry the same orc falters, a shifting wind and burning smoke spoiling her aim, sending a feathered shaft high over the warrior, striking the walled gatehouse beyond, shattering against the solid stones of the fortification. Jace roars out, voicing his mistresses inner rage at the miss, challenging the remaining orcs to come forth and fight.
Brampton pulls a few more weapons out for the ready, fearing the tide of orcs is only just beginning. He holds his polearm at the ready, eyeing the blood raged warriors, eager to continue with the battle.
Adir and Tuzak stoically anchor the far end of the line, ready to push back any assault or if needed close round and engage the rushing onslaught, to box them in and push them back against the gatehouse.
Songan fires another Arrow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 at Orc Warrior I, his aim befouled as was Delia's by the shifting fortunes of war, weather, and this dark night.
The dwarf Dundin takes a defensive stance, ready to block any blows aimed against himself, and cleaning the smear of taint from his beard in the process. Total Defense
Omast grabs his heavy crossbow from the barricade and fires a Single Bolt: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 at Orc H, the metal dart punching Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 8 through the creature's already wounded side, finding it's heart and lodging firmly within it. The orc stumbles, drops it's readied javelin, and slumps to the ground in a half seated heap, dead against the battle continuing around it.
Orc Warrior I runs along to the south, skirting the log roll as cover, taking an Arrow Shot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 at Dundin, the shaft easily blocked by the ready dwarf.
Orc Warrior J rushes ahead, taking a stuffed, gooey rucksack from off his hip and twirling it a time or two before Tossing: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 2 = 3 it at Jace. The bag however sticks to his gloved hand at the moment of release, goo having seeped out over him and the weapon's straps. The bag smacks against the front of the barricade and tail end of the eastern log roll, tarlike goo bursting out and hardening into a gummy mess over everything around it.
Orc Warrior K rushes forwards hefting a greataxe high overhead. He heads straight for Omast, roaring out a garbled and unintelligible rant as he does so. Brampton lances out with his bec de corbin, but the warrior deftly ducks aside of the point, his axe and the long pole making glancing contact as they pass overhead. The orc warrior makes use of the bodies of his comrades to gain a spring board, trampling orc H to the ground before launching himself into the air to Strike Downwards: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 at Omast, but his foot slips rolling off the shifting, falling corpse and his axe instead hacks deep into one of the barricade support struts. K could not charge due to the 2 bodies pilled up at the barricade in the charge lane
Orc Warrior L, twirling a menacing double axe, Charges at Jace, barreling past Orc J eager to face the warcat. He calls out to all around Burada pisi pisi pisi. Jace's snapping jaws close within inches of the orc's outstretched arms but fail to make contact as the warrior raises his weapon up to strike. The Double Axe: 7 - 4 = 3 comes down hard, glancing off the log barrier as the orc misjudges the cat's reflexes, Jace jerking it's head back nearly faster than the eye can follow.
Orc Warrior M moves towards the south, following Orc I, his own composite shortbow slung over his shoulder as he instead fumbles with something in his hands. A spark briefly flashes in the dark, then a faint smoldering light appears. Perception Check modified by the dark conditions

Sorry for the absence.
Dundin defended after taking a hit, but still struck at the orc as he closed in on his spear. He missed wildly, letting the orcs get closer.
AoO reach vs Orc K: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 123d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5) + 6 = 17
Dundin then jabbed at the archer behind the barricade sneaking around to the left. The cover of the logs was not enough to stop the now focused spear thrust. After his jab, the dwarf sidestepped 5' to his left to get some distance from the orcs in the middle.

Dundin spies Orc I moving around the far barricade and steps towards the creature, lashing out with his spear. The dwarf takes the orc in the eye and punches the tip out the back of his skull, killing him instantly.

Leira fires off a bolt towards Orc M, missing as the bolt glances nearby, the shadows giving the sorcerer a difficult target.
Brampton lashes out at Orc L, missing as the warrior ducks along the barricade.
Songan fires off another Arrow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12, this time at Orc J. The shot misses narrowly, the orc sidestepping at the last moment.
Delia and Jace hunker down, watching over the orcish raiders, taking Total Defense.
Orc Warrior J steps up a little closer, then tosses a Javelin: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 at Brampton. 5' step The javelin misses high as the enlarged young fighter ducks below the shaft.
Orc Warrior K strikes over the barricade at Omast, twirling his Greataxe: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 4 = 14, missing with the heavy blade.
Orc Warrior L steps up onto the barricade, glaring at Jace, then launching a Double Axe Strike: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 4 = 1 and Backswing: 1d20 - 3 - 4 ⇒ (5) - 3 - 4 = -2, the warcat easily ducking back away from the spinning blades.

Songan growls under his breath, disappointed that his last two shots have been failures where he seemed to be doing very well with his bow earlier in the day. Believing, however, that his allies have their own enemies at the gate in hand, he turns his attention to those rushing forward, letting another arrow fly at the orc closing quickly behind his fellows (Orc J).

Sorry guys... extremely busy weekend and yesterday as well...
Delia sees the strange ball come streaking over the wall and land at Dundin's feet. She spots the strange orc removing another object from his bag... She takes aim at the strange orc and lets an arrow fly!

Leira fires off a snap shot at Orc M, clipping him in the shoulder. The orc shrugs off the strike, continuing working with whatever object he has in his hands.
Dundin snatches up the sparking orb and tosses it back over the barricade. The orb drops heavily in the targeted area, continuing to spark, the small fuse still burning down to the bored opening into the clay device.
Brampton steps back from the barricade and stabs over the barricade, the spear point ripping through Orc L's shoulder, the hammer head following into then out the backside of the collar. A hasty jerk rips the weapon back out, but fouls the swing and Orc K easily ducks aside of the weapon. Orc L drops heavily to the ground, further cluttering the path up to the barricade.
Adir and Tuzak remain holding firm, watching and waiting, ready to strike against the orcish invaders.
Songan and Delia continue their arrow strikes against the orcs, the darkness, flickering shadows of flame, and heightened tensions serving to work against them to prevent their arrows from finding their marks. Jace however, rises up and lunges at Orc K, biting the porcine warrior across the face, ripping it's nose, upper lip and left cheek away as it does so. The orc, crying out in pain, falls Staggered back from the warcat.
Orc Warrior J notices the orb Dundin tossed nearby, taking a 5' step to pick-up the orb, then tossing it back over the barricade. The orc aims at the square behind Jace, the Orb: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 2 = 15, the clay device landing just as the last of the fuse burns out, detonating for Bludgeoning: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2) + 1 = 9 and Fire Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 in a 10' radius, catching Brampton, Delia, Jace, Omast, and Orc K in the fiery bright orange blast wave.
Brampton: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 takes 4 bludgeoning 3 fire damage
Delia: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 takes 4 bludgeoning 3 fire damage
Jace: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 takes 9 bludgeoning 7 fire damage

The burst takes Jace and Omast fully, washing over the barricade and ending Orc Warrior K, charring his head and torso with flame and shrapnel. The blast also does damage to the barricade in the affected area, chipping away at the defensive structure.
Orc Bombardier M throws the device he carries up and over the barricade at Dundin, a Alchemist's Fire: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 - 4 = 16 the touch direct hit covering the large dwarf in Flames: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7, burning at his beard and chest. The ignited oils and sludge burns brightly, a sickly green flame as it licks at Dundin, scorching and blistering him, charring at his armor and gear. The orc then moves a bit further towards the far end of the barricade, removing another item from it's hip bag. 5' step; Dundin will need to decide if he wishes to put out the fire next round
Orc Warriors N and O sweep to the upper end of the barricade, drawing javelins as they run, watching the actions of the defenders there. They seem to be deciding which may be the bigger threat, the large human or the furry sloth perched upon the wooden rampart.

Delia lets out a cry as Jace roars in pain following the massive explosion that harms many of the defenders. "It's okay, Jace, hold boy!" She shouts over the cacophony of battle. She draws an arrow and sends it streaking towards the foul grenadier orc, hoping to end his life!

Dundin, ignoring the fires licking at and destroying his once proud beard, moves up and strikes at Orc J, his spear thrusting deep into the creature's chest, rupturing multiple organs and killing him where he stood. The flames Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2 further blister and burn across the dwarf's torso. The last round did 7 points damage Dundin, not 6
Leria's shot misses, the darkness again fouling her aim as her eyes seem to fluctuate between strange hues of lime green and pitch black, interspersed with flashes of flame and bright. She then moves up next to the readied warcat, nearly taking a strike before the cat realizes her scent is a friendly one, even though it seems to reek more of the enemy tonight than Jace has ever noticed before.
Brampton moves up, thrusting outwards at Orc O, only to have the orc duck down and under the strike, forcing the young warrior to miss. The orc speaks something to his companion, barely audible to those around him, Siyah tepe devleri olduğu gibi onları vurmak.
Adir and Tuzak stand back, holding their positions, waiting for the orcs to rush them, hoping at last to enter combat.
Delia scores a hit with a single arrow on Orc M, not enough to put him down but it does ilicit a grunt of pain. The orc continues funbling with the item from his pouch, readying it for his next attack.
Songan fires off another Arrow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 at Orc M, striking for Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3, the shaft nicking the orc but not telling enough to end the threat of his next bomb.
Omast finishes loading his heavy crossbow, popping up to take a shot at Orc M as well, the bolt: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11, missing in the darkness and poor shadows caused by the burning trees to his back.
Orc M starts to move further around towards the end of the barricade, attempting to put the log pile between himself and the enemy archers to help protect himself. 5' step He hurls another Alchemist's Fire: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 2 = 17 at Dundin, this one landing on point, clearing the top of the barricade, igniting the dwarf for Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 and increasing the difficulty in the dwarf putting out the rising, burning flames.
Orc N nods to his companion, moving 10' to the nearest building and hurling a Javelin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 at Adir, scoring a hit to his meaty forearm for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5, the shaft still protruding, jerking back and forth from the enlarged human's arm.
Orc O takes a 5' move after his companion and likewise throws a Javelin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 at Adir, narrowly missing the enlarged druid.
From the gateway, more orcs pour forth, three carrying burning torches (P, Q, and R) while six others stop and gather up the discarded battering ram (S, T, U, V, W, and X) dropped by the initial invading orcs. They seem intent upon charging the barricade and breaking through to loot, pillage, and destroy everything remaining to Inner Trunau.

Dundin shifts ten feet to the left to jab at the bomber. He frees up room for Omast and Jace to his right after his move. His enlarged spear stabs out at the fiery bomber.

Leira reloads her crossbow. She observes at Delia and Songan as they ready the boulder. Nervous at how this will work, unable to wait more she looks over the barricade taking aim at the orc thrower (m) and shots another time.

Dundin takes another Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5 from the burning alchemist's fires. He moves down and stabs over the barricade and logs, his size allowing him just enough clearance to strike as the orc's new position affords him more coverage than before. The thrust is strong and deep, Staggering the wily bombardier.
Brampton attempts to move up to assist Adir and Tuzak, but the pair are so focused on the orcs massing before their position that they fail to notice his efforts. They stand firm and defensive, awaiting the rush they feel must soon come. Total Defense
The warrior instead moves himself around the pair and strikes over Tuzak at an orc warrior. His aim is off hover, due likely to attempting to avoid the fearsome sloth, and he misses high over the orc's shoulder.
Leira's crossbow shot arc's high as she tries to clear Dundin's spear and the barricades hiding the bombardier. She steps back to avoid the approaching release of the flaming boulder.
Omast steps aside, taking the chance to partially reload his heavy crossbow. Jacen obeys his mistress, and moves back between Leira and Omast, his teeth bared, his fur bristled and standing high on his hackles.
Delia and Songan hold for action when the orcs get closer to the barricade.
The Orcish bombardier M stumbles forward 5' tossing a bag end over end at Dundin as he dies, the Tanglefoot Bag: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 - 2 = 7 bursting open before it strikes the dwarf, instead pouring it's sticky contents all over the log pile.
Orc N steps back 5' step and throws a Javelin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 at Brampton, falling far short of his target.
Orc O steps forward 5' step and throws his Javelin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 at Adir, missing overhead, the shaft flying off into the darkness.
Orc P moves up beside O and fires a Composite Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 at Adir, scoring a wound upon the druid's shoulder for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8.
Orc Q moves up near to P and throws a Javelin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 at Adir, the wooden spear sticking itself into the druid's leg for Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7.

The battering ram orcs take firm hold over the sharpened and fire burnt log, gripping it by rusty iron chains. They charge forward, moving as one, chanting zafer ve Grenseldek icin as they move slowly, gaining speed, eager to strike against the barricades, failing to realize the danger of the discarded boulder.
Delia gives a strong shove against the boulder, using her strength to assist Songan. Strength Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Success
Songan readies himself next to the boulder, taking up a tinder twig as well. When given the nod, he helps shove against the boulder, trying to aim it towards the gateway. The catfolk and huntress send the stone rolling Strength Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 forwards, the downward slope picking up and speeding it's momentum towards it's targets. The catfolk flicks his Tindertwig toss: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 after it, the tiny brand barely connecting, igniting the trace chemicals and causing a sickly blue-green flame to burst into life over it's surface.
The stone crashes through the barricade, crushing the piled bodies of fallen orcs before careening into the rushing orc raiders. The stone catches the first four raiders in it's burning, bouncing path, the last two dropping hold of the chains and lurching out of it's path, off to the sides.

Seeing the group of orcs climbing up just in front, Leira takes a decision, holding her crossbow in the left hand, she draws her hopeknife and with a determined slash cuts the lodges lashes just in front.
Do I need to attack? Is this AC 5 like when targeting a tile? Can I apply my Vengeance feat although this is an indirect attack?

Seeing that the orcs are moving back from the barricade Brampton decides that it is time for the logs. As he moves over he sees that Leira has the same idea. He moves and pulls out his longsword to cut the ropes on his end.

Dundin, alchemist's fire is an exception to the normal catch on fire rules. It only burns for two rounds. In this instance you have burned out both flasks you were hit with. You will not need to make a save to put your flames out. The deed is done, the fuel spent, you can choose a different action for this round I should have been more specific in my descriptive text, indicating the last of the flames died out, playing merry hob with your fine dwarven self but petering out after that.
