I assumed that meant he would be releasing his selections on the 3rd. There are just too many applicants for him to pump out his selections the next day... Even with time to read over them as they were submitted.

It's a lot of everyone! I don't think I've ever seen a recruitment thread with this many good submissions before. It's gotta be both a blessing and a curse for GM Darkblade. Even with the smallest number of submissions in a category you could still run seven separate parties in this.

Aye. I got through about 25ish before I stopped with a headache.

I actually try to avoid looking at the other profiles. First, I start second guessing some of my decisions, how well I did on my backstory, or something of the sort. Secondly, I think it helps maintain the mystery of meeting the other characters for the first time.

Hello again everyone. I hope you are all doing well, that March is treating you better than February ever could.

It was a difficult process, but I worked over each of the characters, check over and tallied out the balances, and have built what I hope will be a solid team that can work together and carry this story from it's humble beginnings to a thrilling and triumphant end.

For those that did not make it, I am sorry. I slotted up a first tier team, a reserve backup team, I even had enough notes and potential characters that I could have built a third team with still great ideas only to be left on the cutting room floor.

Unfortunately, I do not have the time to do justice to multiple teams, so I resolved myself to having just the one team at the moment. Should a windfall of good fortune free up my time, I would definitely consider doing more, but for now, queue the drumroll please,

Each of you will have a few days to finalize your characters, discuss your activities and backgrounds, get to know one another as you wish. I will be ready to begin full gameplay this Friday, but anything you want to do in the interim, within reason, we should be able to get rolling.
