Sorry, all. I'm in the middle of helping get a new book for Fat Gobling Games together. Damn thing is huge. I should be able to post tonight.

So two of our players had to drop out of a Jade Regent game, we're now down to a Ranger, a Bard, and an Arcanist. We're level 2 and about to head off to Brinewall.
Here's the discussion page if anyone is interested in joining.

Well the two that left were a Bloodrager and a Druid, but I guess just play what you want or just ask the others in the Discussion thread :3

Furious Focus and Wandering Star Motes would have come in handy earlier -_-

There's also the Daring Champion archetype for Cavaliers.

I guess...also I have this really arrogant character I want to play and I don't think anything fits him more than a Swashbuckler.
Have you tried Bard? :P
Speaking of characters that we want to try, I have one that I'd like to play in this game if Terri is ever unfortunate enough to bite it. She'd be a barbarian/cleric of Gorum in plate. Let's just say that either Victor or Wednesday may or may not wind up being dragged off to her bed in certain situations.

True, it works for Sigrun with Neverhome!

I've read up on it before. Precise Strike+Challenge...that is a frightening amount of damage.

Never tried a bard before. I've thought of a swashbuckler cause I also wanted the character to be this swordsman who's very technique heavy instead of the usual big sword and wide swings....not that that isn't fun as I partake in it with other characters.
Your barbarian makes interesting choices I'll say that much :D

Well, I was thinking about it, She might also go for Amira or Cass if she didn't know they were together. Tolenn would also be another potential partner, but I don't know if she'd go for it. Depends on how her first meeting with the paladin went.
Funny thing is, I can see Terri falling for Victor if they two of them ever manage to just have a chat or three.

Well, I'm working on a campaign setting document for a game I want to run. I have had certain elements fixed for a while, but I'm struggling a little to fill in some of the details on others. It's not done (it's about half-way there,) but I'd appreciate any suggestions or comments you guys have about what I have done. I'm going to be asking in the Homebrew forum as well as on the Giant in the Playground boards, so hopefully, some improvements will come, as well as actually getting the thing finished.
Just a few things that I have not mentioned in the doc:
-I'm replacing the current magic system in Pathfinder with Spheres of Power.
-I'm going for a Fall of Rome feel with this. The great empire is dying and all sorts of nastiness is encroaching on civilization. Decadent civilization, but civilization none-the-less.
-I'm not going to be allowing alternate racial traits. I'm creating a mess of new races for the players and myself to use instead. (Still have nine race sections to do.)
-There's a heavy Gaelic/Scandinavian influence here. I'd like to keep with that.
Thanks in advanced, you can comment on the doc here: Aletheria Campaign Setting Guide

Well, I suppose he has to do something while Amira and Cassandra are...
... what are they doing, anyway, Amira?

Terri still has some spells left. I think we could clear out at least some of the rest of the temple before we have to rest.

I haven't. Hope everything's okay on his end. I do have him in a game I'm seeing if I can revive, but then again, half the players haven't responded in that one, and I just pinged everyone last night. It is getting closer to finals time, but I don't know if he's in college or not.

            Mm-mm.
So, while we wait on word from our GM, I have a question for all of you. Have you ever heard of the Fate system? I've got an idea for a one-off using the system that could grow into a longer campaign, and was kinda curious how obscure it was.
