Alrighty, guys...after more than a month of waiting, I've resigned myself to the fact that Cassandra likely isn't coming back. I've invited another player to take over the arcane role, and I'm going to have him post here in the discussion thread soon. I'd like for you guys to work with him on figuring out how his character can know one of you or possibly get worked in with you guys through Croft or something.

I can see Victor being arrested by Croft and be given the choice of helping or rotting in prison. I am open to suggestions if you don't like that idea.

That or you just happen to be wandering by and see something odd with Carowyn Manor.
Either is fine by me, although him noticing something wrong with the manor and deciding to investigate it is not far fetched, he would still need a reason to join the party.
If being forced fits his motivation better in your concept of him, that's fine.
I feel that being forced into joining would give him the push needed to work with the group, as he's not exactly the join on the spot sort of guy.

Victor, thought I quite like the post and the description of the house the house would be quite clean and tidy. Daud and Tolenn have been living there for some time, Amira only recently, but they have cleaned the place up...
Ah my mistake, I should have noticed that, still I am glad you liked the description, I'll make an amending post soon. Can you give me a rough idea of what the furniture and cleaning of the house made it look and feel? Or should I go wild and do my own idea of what it looks like?

Well i always saw it as a lived in home. Zellara lived there for quite some time before Lamm had her killed. Then it was not lived in for a bit before we all took residence.
So, I'd think the furniture would be of decent quality a bit worn in places , homey, comfortable.
Yep...I would think of it as a gypsy's home. Colorful blankets and beads all over. The wood dark and worn but solid. Et cetera.
That's how I envisioned it as well. And I don't see a Paladin being a slob.
