Oh, that's cool. I was just checking. I didn't remember if we had a debate or something on it. :)
Thanks, I'm checking it out.
Savage and I play in a home game PFS, too.

Ok. Paizo was down day before last and I was not able to post. I just finished up one game, and I think this one will be finished very soon. Ill post in the game in a few hours once I get home. :)

And that's it. Hope you enjoyed this one. It is actually, story-wise, one of my favorites. I'll be working on Chronicle Sheet and reporting soon.
So, the deal with the lantern and curse. Essentially, how it work is, the lantern is tied to the map, allowing it to be activated and sending out a silver laser, which if it hits the map, will open a portal large enough for a ship to travel through to where the map indicted. If the map is not used, it will simply open a portal to the ship the lantern is attuned to, (which is Natalya's for now).
And that is what happened to Skelg, though the raiders didn't know what they did. If you use the lanter's ray as a weapon, it will open a portal inside of the target, which where they are treated as being in an extreme cold environment until it is closed. The problem is, once a portal is opened, it remains opened until either all of the special oil in the lantern is used up, you travel through it and then back out, or the Lantern is hung from the ship it is attuned to and the large portal is opened, which then closes all smaller portals.
As for Skelg and Natalya, I had to actually make a lot of stuff up (about their relationship and events leading up to), as it doesn't actually say why he left, if he knew about the "marriage", etc. . .
Anyway, let me know if you have any questions :)

Thanks for running it - my scenario collection is now 'complete' (well, at least until the end of the month!) :-)

ok, I just wasn't sure. I didn't see that listed, but sort of what I figured. I might have just missed it.
Other than that, can I get your PFS Number/ID, a Day Job check, and anything special you need noted on the Chronicle Sheet.

I had a great time. A couple of dicey moments with the murder-hobo crew :-)
Thanks for running it, and for the improvisation as well. I love it.

Ok, HERE is a link to the Chronicle Sheets.
I've also reported the game. (no credit for me :( j/k)
I need to take a bit of a break, but I would like to run for you again. A bit overwhelmed with the Game Day, and I also have some field training coming up soon. If anyone is interested in continuing, it will probably not be until maybe mid Dec.

I'd love to go again mid December. GD3 is pretty hectic for me at the moment too.
Tiefling Rogue 1 / Wizard 4 / Sleepless Detective 1 / Arcane Trickster 3 | HP 54/54 | AC 21; Tch 17; FF 14 | F +4; R +14; W +8 | CMB+3; CMD 20 | Speed 30 ft | Init +13 | +1 Shortbow: +12 (1d6+1/x3) | Perc +21
Sorry for my recent absence...I had been following along, but had an overwhelming weekend and am just getting to breathe again.
Anyway, FANTASTIC story on that one. I'm not sure exactly what was the scenario/your additions, but that was really great.
I'd love to go on in December if you offer anything. I'm also a little too committed with game day, so don't mind a break. Thanks again!!!

Agreed, I enjoyed the game, and would be happy to do something again in the future - just not with Jim ;-)
Aasimar (Angelkin) bloodrager 5 |HP: 48/48 |AC: 19 |FF: 12 |T: 17 |CMB: +9 |CMD: 21 | F: +7 | R: +4 | W: +2 |Init: +4 |Perc: +6 |Sense Motive: +0
I need to take a break for a while. I've got too many going right now.
For now, Recruitment is closed.
1.) Savage
2.) Rhuul
3.) Vrothum
4.) Kryssa
5.) ? Horef
6.) ? Merck
I've got the Discussion open for the chronicle sheet info.
Also, would anyone be interested in also running through the new Silverhex Chronicles with this?
Ok, both Merck and Horef are out, so Ill loom at taking 1-3 more. If any of you have friends, they will get first dibs. And honestly, might keep it at 4 just to run faster.
I had run with this group previously with my aasimar cleric Sarephta (well, with Rhuul and Kryssa, anyway). Somehow I missed out on the continuing sessions.
If you are willing to add another, I have a level 2 rogue/wizard ready to go.
EDIT: I will buy chaps, if that helps.
Do you get XP and/or GP for quests?

Rhuul Irontoe wrote: Do you get XP and/or GP for quests? Yes. Depending on how many of them you do (there are a total of 6), you get a single Chronicle Sheet, with XP, GP, and PP based on the number completed. Each is designed as a single sort of quick mini scenario, usually one or two encounters from what I've seen. I have not read it yet, so that may be a little off.

Sure, feel free to jump in. I believe you had another game you wanted to jump into after (and I might be wrong) the City of Strangers line), or wanted to be free for Gencon.
I've run this before, a few times I think, so I am pretty much ready. I think I have the maps already too. As soon as I get everyone to post that they are here and ready, and give me the info over in the discussion, I'm ready to roll.
Great! I didn't have anywhere to go after this. I'd love to do Silverhex Chronicles or anything else afterward. :)
Ok, well, it's kind of a deal where it's gotta be everyone or not. I was planning on sort of running the two together. If anyone doesn't want to play them, that fine, I'll just either do it later or as a different event.
And, with the Game Day coming, we might not even have time. S we will see.
Sure thing. I, for one, would be in for all of it.
I have a level 3 Sorceror that I would be interested in adding to the mix, if there is still room :-)
Sure, but I'm going to call it there. Too many tend to both slow down PbPs.
1.) Savage
2.) Rhuul
3.) Vrothum
4.) Kryssa
5.) Saarai
6.) ? (Luke)
That sounds fun. Rhuul is definitely in for keeping up with familiar faces and doing this and then the quests sounds great.
