I think we'll all be waiting at the warehouse.

This is a pretty serious ambush we're plotting. We had a tough time with just one hag. If this is three of them, I think it'll get dicey really quick.

By the one's reaction, she can detect alignments at will so they're going to see it coming as soon as they see us.

We should arrange it so they only see a couple of us initially. Arrange some crates advantageously. We can have Mel and Maria as the only ones exposed initially with the aura concealing magic on them.

Zhi's mage armor will already be in place and right before they enter, she'll cast her full litany of short-term buff spells. greater invisibility, haste, cat's grace, mirror image, shield, reduce person.

What other preparations should we make?

Serious prep will be required. If Zil can do another UA for Maria without burning too many spells I think that would be good. Mel won't be able to go in with many buffs I fear. Should be ok though, as long as everyone else piles in nice and quick.

Alignment detecting is blocked by enough wood/stone right? So if we hide people behind a large enough crate etc we should be ok? Specially if we can line one or two with lead!


You can get a lead-lined crate for 200 gp.

Those of you hiding, please make a Stealth check. I'll use Maria's Bluff she rolled earlier, but I will need a new one from Melodie.

I can do quite a few UAs, it's only a second-level spell slot. If we're sneaking in a crate I can also use muffle sound to get us all a +4. It doesn't stop us from hearing outside, and I can dismiss it as a standard action if we suddenly need to cast spells.

Hey all, I'd like to invite you to weigh in on a post I opened in recruitment about a Star Wars game I want to run, set in the Dark Times. The PCs would be rebel spies and/or terrorists, just trying to survive in an increasingly hostile galaxy. Prior experience or knowledge not required (in fact, as unlikely as it is to find anyone like this on a nerd site, the less someone knows about Star Wars the more likely I am to allow/want them to be or become a Jedi).

The Saga system is a new revision to the old d20 rules that Knights was based on.

I'm a big fan of the original WEG d6 Star Wars game. In fact, it was the first tabletop RPG I ever played. I haven't had the chance to look through the Saga rules though.

I have a lot on my plate already, but I am tentatively interested. If you can't get a full table, let me know and I'll see if I can make room for your game, Sara. :)

Incidentally; I was only needing her new feat and new skill ranks - her page on the sheet is as automated as Maria's page and I'm keeping track of class features and such myself, so it's just the actual choices I don't have.

Although, with how quickly you posted that, I get the feeling you're updating her as we level and you just copy-pasted that from wherever you have them saved. In which case, forget that second paragraph was ever typed.

@Brainiac, it is going to be very rules light, and I am basing some parts of the initial dungeon after a couple WEG modules. If you decide to join, it should be quick to learn and follow, but if you would rather build the character from the WEG d6 race and class list, that's also fine by me, I know both systems decently. Yo, v glad I guessed right, I originally had Sara taking turns swatting the hag with the crowbar and the adamantine arrow and seeing which if any surpassed the DR, but then I realized I couldn't take a full action attack if I wanted to draw a weapon, so I went with the one with the bigger die.

Also f*@*, the link I posted in gameplay says I only ever bought six ravens? I been thinking it was seven this whole time! I'll mark the difference off my sheet and also math out how much it cost to feed them from March (then) til September (now).

imo, since they're biggish ticket items and Zileska doesn't have a shit ton in the way of magic items, I say we just let her have them. I already don't have the candle in the math, no prayer beads just means we each lose out on 960 gp which isn't much given the size of the rest of the haul thus far. I'll post in gameplay tomorrow, but I think it'd be more fun to not kill King of Filth unless he ate my birds in which case f&#~ him.


Zhi, Melodie previously sent her agents to infiltrate the Seven Sins Monastery in a They're With Me operation. If you'd like, you can use that roll to have them attempt to infiltrate Abadar's Pillar instead.

Sweet, thank you, and with that slot needing a finger, I lose 1 AC. I ain't gonna sell the Ring of Protection +1 because it's sentimental. She stole it off that dead noble in the first dungeon, so it's like wow look how far we've come (also it's a thousand bucks of easy emergency cash).

So she just gonna switch it over to a different finger.

Not Bartelby necessarily, but one of Zileska's cohorts was built specifically as a crafter IIRC, so they can craft things and Bartelby can ship them to you.

Well one of my cohorts is a chocolatier, but I haven't really statted out the others, just written rough sketches of them. Technically it's up to the DM to decide on/approve builds for cohorts. The arcanist Yves Lark could easily do some item creation if that suits our lovely and beneficent DM. She's a level 6 arcanist.
