I think that the artist and the writer don't really have a matching idea what "attractive women in their late forties" look like. She looks elegant certainly, and as though she was once very beautiful, but she's like crispy old. Like the potato chip version of people.

That depends entirely on how you define 'viginity'.
When you're talking magic, sacrifices and divine offerings, it's all about the technical details. And in the strictest technical sense, Zhi is still a virgin.
I'm positive that with Crystal Fraser being the lead designer of this AP (as well as Paizo's history of attempted LGBT inclusivity), gay romances would 1000% count as passing those strict technical details, ergo, Zhi is not eligible to be sacrificed to a lake spirit.

Hey Everyone, I'm away for the next twelve days in Florida - going to Disney World for the first time!

Quick note re: referencing Melodie as clearly not-entirely-human:
By the rules, you must use Disguise skill to appear as someone of another race. This implies that if you are a part-human, you are obviously so, unless you take pains to conceal your nature. (This came up for me while playing a dhampir who hid her true nature.)
If Melodie's intent was to disguise her heritage, I'm fine with assuming that she takes 10 (or even 20!) in the mornings to disguise the facets of her changeling heritage as best she can, and retconning that all out!

Koriana's Blade: One of the gemstones on the sword's pommel (determined randomly) repairs itself. Once repaired, a gem can be activated as an immediate action once per day to make the sword's wielder immune to a single effect of a particular type, as described below, just before she would be affected by it. She must choose to activate the gem before attempting any save or other defense against the effect. The black gem protects against negative energy, the red gem protects against fire effects,the pink gem protects against mind-affecting effects, and the green gem protects against poison effects.
If I get to roll:
1 - black
2 - red
3 - pink
4 - green
And fire effects it is!

I don't know that I have a lot of interaction to do with the Duchess. Zileska's interest in her is purely political, but she's also a troublesome topic because having her around just draws the ire of her nephew(?). Sooo there's not too much Zileska can say to her - basically it's just a matter of doing the job of keeping her happy.
