Probable. Good RP for it, but probable.

Ta'de-win of the Gale |

Hey, they still are guilt-free kills. Sometimes we just kill them by having them charge the other guys, watch them fight it out, then mop it up.

Ta'de-win of the Gale |

Yea, trouble for the goblins!

Ta'de-win of the Gale |

oh. Wow I don't. I actually didn't know that either. Fail druid here.

Ta'de-win of the Gale |

Because that makes too much sense for us to have thought of:P
Though I do agree with that course of action.

Furiel |

So we trade rations for the entire harvest and fruit and send the goblins on their way.
Then we finish the map of our first area and camp.
Then we visit another area or return to base. I would like to continue to map plains areas as they take only a single day, but do not feel strongly about it.
Anyone disagree?

Bregor Rowain |

I sort of agree with Rogars opinion, The Green Man is a little predjudice against treating anyone a certain way because of race, but that is mainly because he as expereinced it himself.
Hmm, better be carefull with that, lest he becomes something of an Half orc Drizzt Do' Urden.

Trust and loyalty can be earned, especially if you are the enemy of a hated foe. If we have a few days we can try to work that way.
As per the other bandits, we have the ranger, who has no reason to go, a dumb guy, and two too talkative gnomes, they are too unpredictable to rely on them.
The mithral shirt is useless on Norton so I won't compete on that.

Rogar Valertis |

Allowing Kressle to go, I don't think the risk is worth it.
We have bandits much more agreeable than her. Take any of them but her.All we need is some alchohol and the password now to gain access. As Kessle currently feels, she will betray us.
The idea IS for Kressle to betray us. We can count on it. But if we do this right, if she believes one of us (the best one at bluffing of course) has freed her because he wants to throw his lot with the Stag Lord and offers to spy on his behalf... then even if she's opposed to us we've gained a way to check on what the Stag Lord gets to know about us and we can misdirect him. We turn one of us into a double agent, Kressle stays loyal to the Stag lord... what do we care? We just need to feed him enough false information to weaken him and maybe set an ambush on him when he's not well defended...

----Gnomes-----
The two gnomes look curiously at Green when he questions them ... "Well .. they aren't here now but Papa Grundy's boys Arliss and Budgie usually do the grunt work." the other gnome adds .. " Strange boys .. not cut from the same cloth as their brother Fenning. They stop at their dad's up the road there, and pick up the spirits on their way back from their run. Might be there now, in fact" the other gnome nods at this possibility.
Rillo answers Rogar .. "Haven't been there in months .. ever since Papa Grundy's boys became the ones to deliver the cut of the loot and their Dad's spirits and sot-weed to him."
..and Bunyon to Green "[Stag Lord]Used to be a mercenary captain out to the west, came out here with his henchies and just took charge .. Should you ever be in his presence, you will understand why no one questioned his authority. Maybe just two other groups like ours in the Narlmarches and Kamelands ... rumors say he has other influence .. secret-like.
"Yes sot-weed .. Papa Grundy makes his special blend of moon radish tobacco in addition to his still .. he is the Stag Lord's main source for smoke and drink."
-------Budgie-----
Budgie makes a weird "eep" noise as Green slams against him. "Savvy indead sir err indeed sir. Heh, you got me right alright. Yes a test of sorts. Had a mind not to be pulled in any deeper. Thought you might .. my father you see .. and your uh hum well yes true. Arliss and I do happen from time to time to be the one taking the wagon to the uhm "His" fort. We get the new pass phrase from my father .. well it is delivered to my father, but he doesn't know .. no one knows but me and well Fenning did."
"Thank you sir. I do appreciate it .. make a good team we do. My brains your brawn as they say. Here's what I have for you today, my friend .. sir. They say he's not what he used to be .. he's a drunk. He used to lead raids on small settlements and other bandits.. Then he decided to unite them. But since then he started spending most of his time out of his mind alone in his keep, sending his men out instead." sensing that isn't enough, Budgie gives it a bit of a think.
"There is one thing I heard .. never believed it but I have seen em once .. there's an old man there[at Stag Lord fort], and I heard once that he is the one calling the shots. "
"Oh .. and I have been warned to stay on the path. They don't like people sneakin up on em, and they've said they have certain assurances. Wish I could tell you what that meant, sir. Never felt much like testin em.""
Budgie responds to Green's idea.."Wha? .. heh I suppose could get you in .. I suppose, sir." he thinks for a moment "If you were to go to my father's .. there is a bird cage on an eight foot high pole. Inside you should find a small note. Part of the passphrase should be inside. When they ask for it .. start with 'By the' then say passphrase followed by 'who wants to know?'"
------Rook------
"Don't know how much you know or think you know .. Story on Kressle is she was just a young outlaw with a chip on her shoulder. Some of the fellas that ran with Hruska tried to take somethin she weren't offerin. Didn't end well for them and she left. Started her own enterprise, Papa Grundy and his late wife paid her and her boys for protection. Grundys were fine with it cos Mr Graenkin, Kressle's old leader took easily twice as much from the Grundys."
"That's about when I joined. Was on my own, fendin for myself when I came across Kressle and Grundy's boys. They saw value in me they did. The lot were lousy hunters, living on Ma'am Grundy's vegetables and whatever they could steal."
"Bout 4 or 5 months ago, we woke up to "Him", the Stag Lord, and a dozen men - including Hruska and Fenning Grundy - holding swords to our throats. Nasty press gang. He said 'You work for me now' and told us Hruska and Fenning were staying with us, last we knew they were still with Mr Graenkin."
"Believe Mr Graenkin is still leading the Bloodbands. Good to hear about the other two. Both monsters .. things got right awkward when Fenning came back. Budge seemed to think he had somethin to do with Ma'am Grundy's disappearance a while back, but hadn't the stones to face him. Kept on me and Happs to get rid of Fenning for em."

I love the enlarging to spur us on!

Ta'de-win of the Gale |

Do you want us to stay in initiative order, and are the mites in the fire light actively hostile?

I was reading about the Bard's Countersong: I can't understand this part
If a creature within range of the countersong is already under the effect of a noninstantaneous sonic or language-dependent magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it hears the countersong, but it must use the bard's Perform skill check result for the save.
It says that each round can roll another save, but has to use the perform check result. If the creature uses the perform check what is the need for "each round": isn't the perform check result going to be always the old one?
