Hey guys.
Sorry about the long absence. Currently I have been away from the boards in general for the past 2 months I think. I came back from my vacation to find my father at the hospital. He already had a stroke at the beginning of the year but he was recovering fine. He has a heart condition and it got aggravated while I was traveling. He stayed for a month at the hospital but now things are finally looking better. He is already back at home and life is returning to its normal flow. I am trying to pick up the pieces of my virtual life here at the site.

Once again sorry for disappearing. I just coldnt bring myself to get online, couldnt focus... my mind was all over the place and then it became a snowball. But I felt I owned you guys an explanation and an apology. Hope the game is going fine. I was trying to read all the discussion thread before posting but its really long and I got impatient. I see there are some new faces in the game and some very interesting characters. Not sure if you guys still need or want Mugambi, I would like to rejoin if you guys still have a spot but I will completely understand if the party is already set. I will try to get all my reading done this weekend.

I was checking my profile to put some order in it and found i spent 1 skill point too much.
Think Herolab got me into doing this mistake,it didn't show any error,but my math said i spent 29 ranks on a tot of 28 (8 x level + 12 x int + 4 x favored class + 4 x human bonus).
Can someone check again and tell me if there are other mistake?

If you want to check out, i finally wrote Iolana's backstory, it included that PC, but he had to leave as soon as we decided what our common story was :(
It links what i already told to the party with his story, making for an interesting plot for a possible secondary quest.
Mugambi would know everything anyway, since we assume he knows Iolana for sometime now,and he was there when she met that other pirate,Castellus Cale, so he saw her reaction.
So feel free to read everything.

I think technically rolling high is a miss on miss chances but it can be whatever you want it to be as long as its consistent.

I think it kinda depends on whether you're talking a 25% chance to miss (where if you roll 01-25 on a d100 you miss), or a 75% chance to miss (where it makes more sense to say you miss on a 01-75 and hit on a 76-100).

EDIT: Actually, it always made more sense to me, given language about "increasing miss chances" in concealment rules, that rolling under the miss percentage results in a miss.

Every system i know which uses % rolls says you succeed at whatever the roll by rolling under the %

Pratically if you have 75% miss chance i don't see how you can HIT on 01-74 and MISS from 75 and up.

Thanks... He had a 50 percent miss chance, and I saw the number I had rolled, before I thought about whether a hit would be above or below.

that is a crit... your bonus to damage should be +5 not +6, but that is a crit.

Only takes 10 feet. Dunno whether a fallen enemy counts as an obstacle, though. I wouldn't think so, given that helpless creatures don't block a charge.
