Iolana doesn't need anything from those newly found items, she already took enough so far.
And she isn't going to use Malikadna staff.
Regarding the map...
I accidentally fused my fog of war with the interiors a while back... never bothered to replace the doodads inside the supply shack and north shrine.
Female Human (varisian) Magus 5
If there are no enemies doesn't matter.
DM Bloodgargler wrote: >map< Out of curiosity, is the lighthouse the circular building attached to the building where Syndlara killed Klorak? Or is it not on that map?
Male Human Pirate 4 | 29/37 HP, Init +4, AC 18 (Touch 14, Flat 14), Fort +5, Ref +9, Will +3; Perception +5
It's not a big deal on the map. It's more of an in-character thing. As long as we know which areas we've explored and which ones we haven't that's alright.
Yes the circular building on the map is the lighthouse.
I'll take a perception check from each of you.. no hurry. It can be with your next post.
Found my old notes about Klorak's terbutje (the reason for the living steel)
Klorak's Terror-Butje +1 Living Steel Terbutje
martial one hand weapon 1d8 (19-20)x2 plus bleed
On critical, the spikes break off causing 1d4 bleed. The weapon effectively becomes a +1 club 1d6(20x2) for the same number of rounds rolled for bleed damage... as the spikes grow back.
Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1
I am glad you lost those notes until after Syndlara fought him, considering that he crit her at one point.
I don't know how I lost it... It was in the top drawer of my command center. (written on the back of a software installation guide)
I will also take 4 1d100 rolls from each of you... here in discussion.

I'd say so. That looks like a nasty toy he had. If there's no objections, Cale will take the cutlass.
Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1
That's actually the second +1 cutlass we've found, and it wasn't really useful to anyone then. So please, take the cutlass.
Male Human Pirate 4 | 29/37 HP, Init +4, AC 18 (Touch 14, Flat 14), Fort +5, Ref +9, Will +3; Perception +5
It's Cale's weapon of choice, so grazi. ^_^
As an aside, I'm assuming, DM, that you've been doing something g to accommodate Gatherine on powder and shot. Would it be inappropriate to ask how y'all've been doing this? It is a small part of Cale's niche, so I thought I'd ask.
Unless you have an airtight option for firearm ammunition, any leftover from the day before is useless from the humidity, and needs to be repacked.
I believe I just told her she had plenty for the first module, and just spend an hour a day cleaning her firearms and packing ammo... she'd be ok.
Let's just assume for now you each have enough supplies for 50 shots.
Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)
"Gatherine will remember that,Cale. Or should I say...Longface Skinnybody."
Can I make a disarm attempt with my magnetist gloves to respond to his threat? I think it'll be funny.
Male Human Pirate 4 | 29/37 HP, Init +4, AC 18 (Touch 14, Flat 14), Fort +5, Ref +9, Will +3; Perception +5
The plan is to have her remember it. Cale is meant to be a ruthless soul when it comes to protecting those he considers to be under his charge. He isn't trying to be at odds with Gatherine, but he realizes that Gatherine's perceived hatred can cause that very thing (danger to his crew) to become deathly real. If you've ever seen the TV show Firefly picture Nathan Fillion's character, Captain Malcolm Reynolds. If you haven't seen Firefly, I suggest a lockin for the next day.

I get what you're going for with Cale but I don't feel like it's coming off the right way. Truk already doesn't like Cale. Him throwing his weight around like he's been doing isn't helping. I'm getting the impression Gatherine feels the same way.
Hopefully the next few events will help sort that out.

Gatherine just doesn't like some cocky newcomer horning in on her party who knows nothing about her presuming he's gonna boss her around right off the bat.And apparently he wronged Iolana,so that just makes her distrust of him all the more strong. Then he thinks he's gonna talk to her like she's a threat--like a rampant wild dog that he'll put down, with her own weapon no less.
What really irked her is that he more or less stated she herself is a threat to the party.
I think it's great fodder for rp. A rivalry.
Come at me bro! Lol.

I don't really like long standing rivalries in parties so I'd prefer Truk and Cale work out their differences sooner than later.
Female Dwarf Gunslinger 5(Pistolero)
Gatherine probably gonna challenge and pester him like a brat. She can't really hate someone unless they're outright evil and unrepentant. She is a teen dwarf...who acts like a deadly princess lumpy space princess. With guns and a tendency for fire and demolition towards foes.

He's more the overprotective dad with a gun that you just want to smack around very now and again. Don't keep his daughter out too late now.
And would it be too much to say my Diplo check failed. Those were some nice rolls. Probably the only ones I'll get all game. Lol.

Better to not post in gameplay now, after all how much talk can we do?
But talking IC Iolana would say "That was sarcasm Truk,i figured they could be them."

In general, speaking is a free action that you can perform even when it isn't your turn. Speaking more than a few sentences is generally beyond the limit of a free action.
Theoretically, you can take an infinite number of free actions in a round. To avoid abuse, you might only allow one per initiative count, but it's hardly like we're writing novellas here.
Also, it's your turn, Truk. Unless all you're doing is saying something?

You can say quite a bit in six seconds so I usually don't worry about it too much.
I edited Truk's turn in.
Female Human (varisian) Magus 5
I read the corebook, i actually had three copies of it:
1) first italian edition, full of errata (noooooo don't tell me) destroyed by a friend.
2) second italian edition, more corrected.
3) american edition, much easier to read (enjoy the paradox)
OK it says you can talk as much as you want in a 6 secs round, and ok you can say alot in 6 secs, but logic suggests people don't talk when they are fighting for their lives.

Please, you are talking with a freaking nerd who grew up with Spiderman and super hero comics in general.
Sure i liked american comics, but there are way too much dialogues during action scenes ; one the reason why i switched to manga in the end.
Female Elf Bard (Dervish Dancer) 4/Fighter 1
Rurouni Kenshin is far worse than any American comic for wordiness during fights.

So the cannibals were outsiders from the sea that showed up and got cursed by something. As a result they lived forever but couldn't please the native womenfolk so they locked them up in the tower for years to do manual labor. Did I get that right?
If that's the case, Truk's going to be in high demand. =P

Now I'm confused. Crazy-lady tried to run up the stairs on her initiative, Syndlara's AoO and readied action go off when she tries to stand, everyone else goes...and now Crazy-lady is at the top of the initiative order, running up the stairs? Shouldn't Syndlara have gone just prior to Crazy-lady?
