Caine moves to M8 and cleaves the mouthy Kobold at M9.
"I come for you!"
The mouthy kobold is at M10. I don't think you can reach it.

Perigia |

I'll post these now since I'm not sure when I'll get another chance today. Perigia casts sleep in K15. All rolls are vs will. 1d20+3 [1,3] = (4) vs K7, 1d20+3 [4,3] = (7) vs. K1, 1d20+3 [20,3] = (23) vs. K2,
1d20+3 [12,3] = (15) vs. K3, 1d20+3 [12,3] = (15) vs. K6. Any who are hit are slowed (save ends), 1st failed saving throw and they are unconcious (save ends).

Rev DM |

Ah. I see. You are looking at the version from last night rather than this morning's corrected and updated version. link here.
The error is mine. I misplaced Kobold 5 at M9 on the mid-round update yesterday, but have him in my notepad as going to M10 (he gets an extra free shift for being a kobold) and indeed was noted as such on the post attached to that update. but he is in the right place on the start of Round 2 map.
EDITED
Thanks for the pre-emptive posts - I'll sort the whole massacre out once Cronin and Brujo detail how they are planning to slaughter this hapless ambush party. Commander - I will place you at M8, ready to destroy anything that moves your way.
Brujo
Cronin

Brujo |

Brujo quickly moves to the nearest enemy, and unleashes another bolt of lightning.
Move to L5. Lightning Lure on K4 1d20+6=26 vs. Fort, Crit(why can't I have rolls like this in my other games)! Move K4 to M4, giving Flanking and Combat advantage to Leo and myself;Damage 1d6+6=12(the funny thing here is I rolled max damage anyway). Rev, since it's a crit do I apply the +1d8 from damage from my sword/the +1d6 from the cold property, since I'm using my sword as my implement?

Cronin |

Cronin sees Fairwind about to be mobbed and moves to aid her flank, using the searing light of his goddess to make the kobold nearest him vulnerable to her attacks.
Move to J6. Fairwind gets +2 to her next attack against K5.
Lance of Faith on K5 (ref) (1d20 6=23, 1d8 6=7)

Rev DM |

Commander Caine surges menacingly towards the clustered kobolds, eliciting squawks of alarm from them. Flustered murmers of "Let's get out of here, don't like this one bit" are quelled by the Wyrmpriest.
"Surround them." he orders, being very careful to stay out of range himself. The kobolds don't seem that impressed by his management skills. "All very well for some." can clearly be heard from a disgruntled skirmisher.
Leo's formidable blow glances off kobold 5 and it sneers at him.
Brujo on the other hand, casually lassoos Kobold 5 and hauls the hapless creature towards him. "Leggo - noffair" it gargles as the lash tightens round its neck and the scimitar blasts downwards wounding hit horribly.
BrujoI think it's the d6 cold damage rather than d8 scimitar damage, but I'm happy to be corrected.
Seeing Fairwind's peril, Cronin's holy fire sears the Kobold 5 which manages a further squeak of "That's not fair..." before it expires from a combination of lightning, cold and holy flame.
This was the kobold Chyrylyx cursed last turn, so she can now teleport three squares and will jump to M6
End of part one ...

Rev DM |

Part 2 ...
Perigia is not slow to spot the clustering of the kobolds and unleashes her sleep spell into the middle of them. Gasps of horror go up as waves of lethargy wrap around the little brutes.
Kobolds 7 and 1 are unaffected by the magic and raise a small cheer. Kobolds 3(the Wyrmpriest) and 6 (one of the Dragonshields) are staunch enough to throw the enchantment off and are merely slowed, but Kobold 2 drops to the ground and snores gently.
The remaining kobolds look at each other and take action. Without moving, the Wyrmpriest (kobold 3) launches a blast of cold that strikes Caine directly in the chest. Then it raises its hands high above its head and chants. All the kobolds look a little better (although Kobold 5 is still dead).
Energy Orb at Caine (v Ref) cold damage: (1d20 6=15, 1d10 3=6). 6hp cold damge to Caine. Kobold 3 used a minor action to Incite Faith in his allies granting them 5 temp hp each and allowing them to shift one square. Kobold 4 ducks away from Brujo.
Seeing Fairwind as an easy target, Kobolds 6, 7, 4 and 1 all move to surround her, egging each other on with high pitched chortles of glee.
K6 to N12, K7 to N13, K1 to O13, K4 to O11
At the signal from Kobold 6, they all attack at once. Home rolling, IC just died on me at this most inopportune moment. K6 - 25, 5hp damage, K7 and K4 both miss, K1 -27, 4hp damage. 9 damage total to Fairwind.
Snickering at their success, the little blisters shift away again.
K1 to O14, K6 to M13, K7 to N14. K4 cannot move again this turn.
Much needed map to follow shortly...

Rev DM |

Much needed MAP of the situation after the kobolds have moved.
Note also that I took the liberty of moving Perigia so she had line of sight on K15 (the square not a kobold) when she splatted her sleep spell.
Fairwind, please take a look now and tell me what you're doing. None of them are minions.

Rev DM |

Ah, ok, in which case, I won't if there is one already next to me. As there appears to be.
There is indeed. Poor little beast ran out of shifts. Would you care to divulge your actions? By the way, where is this Unbalancing Parry of which you speak? I am very likely being dumb, but I see it not in your profile.

Geleri Fairwind |

Hit and Run (1d20+7=17) damage vs K4S (1d8+3=10)Move to Q12... and still suffer an OA.. didn't quite grok that they had overlapping threat zones. Eesh, I can't do tactics as a player either. Once there, spend an action point to use Scorching Burst on squares M,N,O 13-15. Attack vs reflex on K6D, K7D, K1S (1d20+2=8, 1d20+2=17, 1d20+2=6) 1d6+1 fire damage to K7D (1d6+1=6)
Fairwind grits her teeth and wheels away from one of her attackers, hoping to avoid the mob. Muttering a half-remembered incantation, she calls forth a pillar of fire!

Rev DM |

Befuddled by Fairwind's hit and run tactics, the kobolds are unable to strike a blow as she whirls past them. The Dragonshields seem rather impressed. Her sword swipe severely damages Kobold 4 and the flames explode nastily in the face of Kobold 7.
"Could be a kobold" remarks the uninjured one.
"Not scaly enough. Help me." squeaks his flaming companion.
Chryzylyx, distracted by Fairwind's plight and impressive manouvering, tries and fails to shoot eldritch fire at the Wyrmpriest. Then she ducks behind Brujo for safety Chryzylyx to L4.. Rolled a rather underwhelming 10... sorry Chryz.
END OF ROUND 2
Caine is up
Leo
Brujo
Cronin
Perigia
Please note, Kobold 4 is bloodied. I forgot to add that to the map. It's late, and I'd rather not do the whole thing again for one kobold.

Rev DM |

A belated surge of cold freezes Kobold 4 to the spot. Before it has time to react sensibly, the towering figure of Commander Caine is upon it, and the creature slumps to the ground, bombarded by waves of thunder.
Kobold 4 is dead.
Commander Caine to N10
Commander Caine
As you step onto the differently coloured stone, you are momentarily assailed by a vision of falling walls before attacking with renewed vigour.
Leo is up
Brujo
Cronin
Perigia

Rev DM |

I was looking through the description of Sleep and I realized that I had missed something. The two that I missed are also slowed, but do not pass out on a failed save. My bad.
It's OK. They all moved as slowed creatures (I know that spell of old, too many of my monsters have been caught out by it :D. Due to the Wyrmpriest's timely use of Incite Faith they got an extra shift and they get a shift anyway for being kobolds, which isn't affected by the slowing. I think we're OK.
EDIT - ah. No. Kobold 1 moved too many squares. Ah well. He rolled complete rubbish and failed to hit anyone, so it's probably not important in the great scheme of things, but still - apologies.

Brujo quickly darts about the ruins to his next victim, "Get over here!"
Move to O8; Lightning Lure on K4 1d20+6=23, move him to O9; Damage 1d6+6=12 Max damge once again! Really why aren't my rolls like this on my other characters? Also use Aegis of Shielding on him incase he tries to attack someone else.

Brujo, may I draw your attention to the fact that Kobold 4 is already dead, having fallen to Commander Caine. You may wish to revise your move. Also that Leo and you seem to be trying to share a square.:D

Oh, I thought the kodold in O11 was still kicking? As for the move put me in N8

Rev DM |

Commander Caine's attack demolishes Kobold 4 before even swift footed Leo or Brujo can add to the carnage. Distracted by the milling bodies, Cronin also misses, but Perigia sneaks a magic missile into the back of the wrympriest. The beast shrieks.
"Back. Get out of here. Now!" it bellows, giving up all pretense of the ambush being anything other than an abject failure.
He and his cohorts attempt to throw off the effects of Perigia's sleep spell. Kobold 3 (Wyrmpriest) and Kobold 7 (Dragonshield) make the save. Kobold 1(Skirmisher) and Kobold 6 (Dragonshield) do not and are still slowed.
Save v slowness: (1d20=8, 1d20=17, 1d20=5, 1d20=14)
Kobold 2 (the prone sleeper) is kicked awake by the Wyrmpriest (minor action) but is too boggled to do more than stagger to his feet.
Kobold 2 save v sleep: (1d20=15)
Kobold 1 is unable to resist taking a last stab at Fairwind, but the spear misses. It retreats a step, hissing slightly. K1 moves to stab at Fairwind and thens shifts back - so stays in the same place.
Kobold 3, muttering about unfair odds and opportunistic wizards, fires a blast of cold at Cronin, which misses before scampering away. (Kobold 3 to F18)
Kobold 6 is unable to do anything very useful at all and backs himself off against the wall, smiling beguilingly and waving at you as he attempts to get out of the way. (Kobold 6 to K15).
Kobold 7 also heads away, pausing only to stab Perigia with his shortsword. "Nasty, nasty wizard" it says reprovingly as it jabs her neatly in the leg. (K7 to H14)
Shortsword attack on Perigia: (1d20 7=22, 1d6 3=4). 4hp damage to Perigia.
Post Kobold movement MAP.
Fairwind is up
Chryzylyx

Geleri Fairwind |

Hunter's Quarry - K1S. Move to 015, avoiding the threat zone in a loop via row Q. Twin Strike vs K1S (rolled at home - IC down). To hit - 24 and 14 vs AC. Damage - 1d8+1d6+3 = 11 (longsword+quarry); if the second one hits... 1d6+3 = 5 (shortsword).
Fairwind smiles grimly and whilst the little bandits retreat, she races round to cut off their escape, her swords arcing through the air.

Rev DM |

With an agonised squeal, kobold 1 takes the full brunt of Fairwind's attack. While her second slash misses, the first does substantial damage to the little bandit.
Kobold 1 is bloodied.
Chryzylyx moves to form a line with Brujo, Cronin and Leo and curses kobold 2 as he rouses from slumber before blasting him with eldritch fire. He looks stunned as he watches chunks of flesh melt under her attack.
"Thought you were the useless one." he screeches.
Kobold 2 is also bloodied.
END OF ROUND 3
ROUND 4 MAP - START
Caine is up
Leo
Brujo
Cronin -Please look at Commander Caine's spoiler above
Perigia

Perigia |

Kobold 7 also heads away, pausing only to stab Perigia with his shortsword. "Nasty, nasty wizard" it says reprovingly as it jabs her neatly in the leg. (K7 to H14)
As an Immediate action, Perigia uses her Firepulse to fry the little bugger. 1d20+4=23 to hit vs Ref, 1d6+2=5 fire damage.
Didn't your mommy ever teach you it's not good to piss off a wizard?" Perigia says to the kobold.

Leo the half elven Paladin |

In case I'm not able to post when my next go comes up:
Leo charges straight for his nearest foe (Kobold 1) moving straight ahead to O-13.
Rolled a natural 20 so thats a hit with maximum base damage of 1d8+5 of 13 plus 2d6 for the critical which adds 5 to the damage for a total of 18pts of damage
Charging straight ahead Leo yells "For Kelemvor!" as he swings his sword right through the stricken kobold.
with my luck its already dead before Leo struck!

Brujo |

Brujo quickly moves beside two of the kobolds and swings an arc of lightning over their heads.
Move to M13. If K1 is still alive after Leo attack than I place Aegis of Shield on him. If not Place it on K2.
Lighnting Lure on K6 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1774588/ ]1d20+6=23 vs Fort; Damage 1d6+6=12, move K6 to M14. What the heck, last two rolls have been the same? Not that I'm complaining.

Cronin |

Cronin chases after the masked kobold. "Get the caster!"
Heedless of the other kobolds, Cronin then pulls up and fires the now-familiar shaft of moonlight at the wyrmpriest.
Double-move to G16, though I draw an OA or two on the way. Action point for Lance of Faith.
Lance of Faith on Wyrmpriest (ref) (1d20 6=17, 1d8 6=9) Plus any mods from Caine; if I hit, Perigia gets +2 to her next attack on it.

Rev DM |

Commander Caine lunges at Kobold 2 as it struggles to get up. His greatsword slashes down in a formidable blow and the creature is doomed.
Thundering greatsword v Kobold 2: (1d20+9=16, 1d10+4=14)
Kobold 2 is dead. As this was Chryzylyx's curse victim, she can now teleport three squares and jumps to J11 on top of the wall.
Leo neatly bisects Kobold 1 with a deft blow.
Kobold 1 is dead.
Brujo's lighting yanks Kobold 6 away from the safety of the wall and into the middle of the extremely tough party. It bares its teeth in what is probably a beguiling smile and drops its weapon.
Cronin hurtles past his companions and the remains of several kobolds and blasts holy fury at the Wyrmpriest. Brushing past Kobold 7 on the way, the little brute lashes out at him with its short sword, but misses. The Wyrmpriest screams as Cronin's righteous fury hits it hard.
Kobold 3 is bloodied.
Perigia's cold ray allows Kobold 7 to sneak in an attack under her arm, but the cold slows its reflexes and the stab misses the wizard.
Kobold 7 is slowed and bloodied.

Rev DM |

Kobold 3 pauses only to adjust his mask and runs. Scuttling as fast as his legs will carry him, he disappears into a hole in the wall (see dark line between A17/18).
Kobold 3 is double moving and running. He is now in a tunnel under the wall.
Kobold 7 exchanges glances with his remaining comrade and drops his weapons. Thudding to his knees, he puts his hands in the air.
"Parley?"
Kobold 6 nods across to him. "Surrender."
There are further toothy smiles from the pair. Kobold 6, who is less injured than Kobold 7 also puts his hands in the air.
"Information? Sneaky kobold information?" it offers hopefully.
Fairwind is up
Chryzylyx - whose actions will depend on whether or not combat is ongoing at this point.

Rev DM |

The hole is designed for kobolds and Fairwind cannot fit through it without moving a lot of rocks to widen the opening.
If you want to do that, it will take about 20 minutes.
I think at this point you are out of combat as you need to decide if you're going to slaughter the remaining surrendering kobolds where they stand or see if you can get anything useful from them.

Rev DM |

Kobold 6 sits down.
"Snaggletooth", it introduces itself. "Kneebiter" - it gestures to its companion, in the care of Perigia and Cronin.
"Lots of us round here. Bleak's Band. Ambush silly Seekers." Snaggletooth looks around and decides abruptly that this news might not endear him to you.
"But not you. Nooooo, no, no, no, no. Not you. Bleak's Band won't hurt you. Promise."

Cronin |

Cronin paces the courtyard, inspecting different areas, then sets to work clearing stones from the passage the wyrmpriest took. He seems to take the creature's actions as a personal affront.
