;P She isn't trying hard enough, then. Maybe if she murders someone in their sleep just because, as opposed to revenge for their own crimes....
That said, my tabletop DM who has played with Ansha before will often tell me she's CE even when I don't think she has been acting all that bad. I mean, it's not like she goes around murdering people for no good reason! (Although she did recently destroy a major metropolis on his homebrew campaign world with an army of golems...But they asked for it when they executed her for trying to resist arrest when she was around level 9-10! Now that she's level 22+, she's just settling a score....)

Yes, those proportions look better on her. (Has to be pretty unusual that a woman comes back to you with "No, no, that picture makes me look too thin.")
I was going to say the boots looked a little stylish for wilderness travel/combat, but I suppose a three-inch heel is Ansha's idea of thoroughly utilitarian footwear for cross-country travel. ;)

Ansha |

You can blame one of my artist girl friends for giving me the idea that Ansha would wear heeled boots as travel-wear, even if Ansha has always struck me as the type to be fashion-conscious even in the wilderness. Originally, Ansha also wore glasses like a hipster...and for the same reasons. (That, and she bought a pair that allowed her to see invisibility when she was being hounded by an imp.)

meant a mount will not be all that useful as we go Up-Up the Ziggurat. But AK was kind enough to let me swap out the horse.

What are you taking instead?

Kamishah seemed completely immune to your Beguiling Touch, or perhaps simply very strong-willed.
At two other points on the trip to the base camp, Ansha attempts to surreptitiously use Beguiling Touch on Kamishah, as an experiment to see just how strong-willed he is.
By the way, did Ansha get a better grasp on Kamishah's strength of will from those two other attempts on the road? There's a loose flex-time conversational thread between Ansha and Kamishah too:
She glances away for a moment, then turns to grin conspiratorially at him. "I understand you've found other things to occupy your time here, as well. It can get pretty boring around here, so believe me, I can completely understand. I don't suppose you're the sort to appreciate a good prank, too, are you?"

Okay, really, we have to make sure we've got everything we need before we go in there because there's no turning around to go back to the store once we've gone in.
We have three people who can create light magically, although none of us can do anything about magical darkness. We might not need torches to see by, but we still might need fire. Light won't do fire damage. Ansha has burning hands, but we might need more than one in a day (or two, if she uses her arcane bond).
Leading from that, burning hands looks to be the only way we can deal with swarms. It's partial metagaming, but I've been in two games recently where we met swarms without any means to deal with them and it stinks. (Personally, I think swarms are poorly designed -- something's wrong with your world when bugs and bats are the most deadly enemies a a low-level party might run into in a dungeon -- but that's another argument.) We need alchemist's fire if they have it; barring that, at least oil and torches.
We need to figure out how many days of rations we can and should carry. Tebati can reserve an orison slot for create water to avoid carrying vats of drinking water in with us. I'd like a backup dagger. Anything else I'm not thinking of? I hate packing. I always forget something important. :P

Ansha |

On a personal note, one of my most embarrassing character deaths was when my fighter/wizard was swarmed by a swarm of spiders and I cast burning hands on my own square. I don't recall whether it killed the swarm, but it also knocked me out...and the druid who summoned the swarm then coup de graced me.
Also, AK, will Arkus extend a line of credit to me? ;P Otherwise I can't purchase the spell-scribing items anyway.

Ansha |

Out of curiosity, how likely is it that Ansha can make and/or acquire elven trail rations? ;P
Maybe she needs to get in touch with those Ekujae elves after all....

Ansha |

That's what...two times now? Three? ;P
So it looks like at least some of us have alchemist's fire, Ansha has sunrods and burning hands scrolls, and we have 3 casters who can cast light. One or two weeks of trail rations seems like it's really the only thing we might want to bring that we don't have in our possession already. Two might be better, if people (other than the wizard with 8 STR) can bear the load.

Joana |

Twice, I think, though I can't for the life of me remember what her first one was.
Tebati's stronger than most of my characters; after picking up an extra dagger, she can still carry 6 days of rations without going into medium encumbrance. How much extra weight can the men carry? We need to leave room to pick up treasure, but it'd be a bit anticlimactic to get inside and then starve because it takes us too long to get back out again. 1d6 points of nonlethal damage adds up pretty quick when there's no way to remove it.
Tebati you might want to state IC that you want to go in tomorrow rather than today.
Meh, but it's so much work. Pick on PWO; Jakob hasn't said anything since insulting our abilities and driving Qhude out of the tent. ;P

He's good at that. Foot-in-mouth disease and all. ;P
I honestly haven't kept track of Ansha's encumbrance, but she's probably fairly close to Medium encumbrance even with a masterwork backpack upping her effective Strength to 9. I'm guessing Qhude can carry a lot, given his 18 Strength and lack of heavy armor.
Yeah....Ansha's carrying 60 lbs. of gear. So even with her masterwork pack, she's already just under Heavy encumbrance. >_> And that's without even carrying food! (Why does my evening gown weigh 10 lbs.? I mean, I'm visualizing it looking diaphonous like Queen Telandia's outfit in the ISWG, and probably covering less too.)
Hey Qhude, carry my pack for me!

Joana |

Well, if they're telling the truth, sending doesn't work through the pyramid. Or everyone died before they could try to contact them, which doesn't bode well either.
Anyway, don't you remember all the trouble a stolen scroll led to in Freehold? ;P
EDIT: I guess we could use it to try to contact each other if we get separated.

Qhude |

We just need to get a drag litter (as in a tarp and a few sticks) for the heavy foodstuffs and what not. Qhude can then drag it around and free action drop before any combats and such. Removes much of the problems with overloading - given that Qhude can drag around 1,000 lb or so of gear.
Qhude has 350gp burning a hole in his pocket that Ansha could always try and convince him to relieve himself of...
