I'm sorry I haven't made any kind of announcement sooner. I'm currently working 70-80 hours a week and covering more than one position at work on top of that. I have had 0 mental energy to even think about booting up Maptools and whats left of my conciousness at the end of each day usually goes into destressing myself. Running and playing in as many PbP's as I do (formerly did more like at the moment) is simply too much on top of it.
I'd like to confirm my hiatus and set a date to come back re-energised. Hiring a new IT Manager at work, hopefully by early November which will take the pressure off.
I'm going to work on coming back and making regular updates again from the 15th of November.
As for the games I am a player in rather than a GM, i'll do my best to post regularly.
Thanks for your patience thus far everyone. If I lose people as a consequence of all this I completely understand.

Ironically, this is the weekend i've worked the longest hours. Today- 6:30AM until 21:00AM. Straight to bed with no leisure for me. Weekend update, promise. Oh and I get ANOTHER new staff member on Monday :).

Hey alex what are you using to create the dungeon maps? If it is Maptools where are you getting the terrain templates from?

Yeah, at the very least a readied magic missile at him the second he tries to cast anything. Also, you have some decent buffs and a ton of useful gear.
Maptools. The texture on this map is actually one of the defaults, but I have built up a 50GB folder of tokens, objects, textures and anything else I need since starting this whole PbP shenanigans.
Updating now, sorry for the delays. Is everyone's HP accurate, Fenna is looking pretty worse for wear in particular?
Okay - we have exactly ZERO options that can cure blindness or paralysis. Can anyone offer a scenario where this is not a TPK?
We found 10 scrolls (including 3 remove paralysis and a break enchantment) in Varnhold fighting the Spriggans. Not sure if we kept them, and if so, who is carrying them. (Kalev is the one who found them and gathered them up as per a post shortly after the one linked above)
Makes you wonder what else we may have found that has not made it into our inventories. :P
The cure and restoration scrolls could have been better utilized before this big fight seeing as how many of us are down HP and/or have ability damage.
As for a scenario, how about 6 confirmed criticals in a row from Kalev and Richter. That might do it. Maybe. Probably not. ;)

Wow - yeah, having those is a HUGE difference. It leaves us with the slightest sliver of hope. I still wouldn't put money on our survival, though.
Fenna can also spontaneously cast Dispel Magic.
You know I always roll saves for you in order to not slow up the narrative. You win some you lose some. Brutal rolls.
Allocation of treasure is a classic issue in PbP. I do recall urging it be done :).

Same for me. We're leaving for a one-week trip to Germany tomorrow, and I'm not sure we'll have internet access.
It makes sense that someone other than Fenna would be carrying things, since she has a habit of misplacing things... which suggests that Malthir might have been the one carrying the scrolls of remove paralysis, since it's on the paladin spell-list?
They would have been split between him, Fenna, and Cas if we would have thought about it before-hand.
Cas' UMD isn't great, but at least if both he and Fenna were paralyzed he has a shot at it. With a couple of spell buff's his chances are even better.

How about we roll for placement for all of the vital scrolls, just to get things moving?

Turns out you can jump as part of a charge. Would Ricter like to attempt the same, or stick to his double move?
I note that it is a 15 foot leap and thus DC15.
