Briar steps back and throws a stone damaging the second snake. Fondo slides into flank and provokes an attack which misses but his does not. Majenko flies above Briars head along the ceiling and does a tumbling celebration of a dance inspiring all of you to greater more heroic things. +1tohit/+1dam. Dandilion, thanks in part to Majenko's delightful dancing, hits D3 for 6hp. Barael steps into flank and hits doing less damage than he should. Nikolay swings on D1 striking it hard - though not all the damage goes through. His ray, normally quite effective against undead, strikes the creature but does no damage and he doesn't know why. Charlie, panicked at being so close to combat lashes out with an eldritch bolt hitting N2.

Briar misses with his last magic stone. Fondo bobs and weaves into position, and hits N2 for 9hp. With Majenko's help, it drops! Majenko sighs seeing Fondo ready to go but with no one non-dazed there to play. He 5' flaps into flank and attacks while continuing his dance (+1tohit/+1damage). Dandilion steps up and hits N3 for 7hp. Barael slams N1 into the ground and it stops writhing. Nikolay is dazzled by the snake dance. Charlie fails to get his bless off as he is also dazed.

Barael looks over Nik's shoulder as he pokes around, almost worried that by stirring the bones, he'd wake them again. "Ugh. Silver, mithral, magic, slash em, poke em, bash em. It's making me dizzy. It felt good enough to hit that last one with my fist, so it wasn't immune to the force of it. Would holy water have burned them, you think?"
Barael heads over to the northern door, and listens through it, while examining it for locks.

Briar joins Nikolay in kicking the bones and checking for magickery.
"Strange things, eh? They seem to be of undeath, but their power lies from a different source."
After determining that they are dead, Briar will take one of the skulls and place it in his backpack. "We can ask about this later, mayhaps. Someone might be able to explain it to us."
With the area searched, Briar will resume his position at the back of the line, ready to move along.

Fondo opens the door. Wooden tables here are stacked with vials, beakers, and other alchemical gear, although the southern one is heaped with broken vials and leans awkwardly on a hastily repaired leg. Three large cauldrons sit against the east wall, one of them upended. Its foul rancid contents of rendered fats have spilled all over the floor.
There is a lone Derro here finishing repairs on the table leg and generally cleaning up as you enter. He's surprised and flat footed. Surprise round - party (5' step and standard or move action only).

Barael sees yet another derro, immediately fishes for his Ioun Torch and sets it to hover, regretting not having time to put his hands over his ears. He only steps to R-22.
"We've another blue brother. Fondo's gone to talk with him, reason this all out."

Barael takes out his ioun stone flooding the room with light and steps up (it is not yet hovering as it was a surprise round so move action to fish it out). Dandilion drinks her mutagen and... changes. Nikolay moves into the room, but with the hard corners doesn't quite get as far as he'd like. Majenko flies into the room and communicates with the Derro. Briar moves into the room and trains his bow on the enemy. Fondo crosses the room and gets next to the Derro. Charlie moves into the room and prepares to heal any injured party.
Now up, everyone but Fondo and Charlie. For reference, the Derro continues to be surprised and flat footed until his init. He does not respond to Majenko and Majenko tells you this. "Maybe he's still in shock at our swarming in on him?"

"Wait, let me try something?" Dandi says, as she moves into the room to (R-24).
Pulling a strand of Wraith's webbing from her hair, she crushes it, imagining the scintillating colors enveloping the blue creature. The webbing disappears, only to bloom in the hallway behind the blue man, strands of prismatic colors reaching out, weaving in a hypnotic spread of color.
hypnotic pattern via Mesmerizing weave, centered on (X-24), will save negates (DC12), 2d4 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 hit die worth of creatures.

Barael finishes taking his hand away from the now floating ioun torch, and steps up at the table near Dandi move to S-23. Barael looks at the northern table, and back to the southern table, and eyeballs the derro. Did the derro shatter all that equipment? Does he have glass or blood down his arms? Glad I didn't jump up on the table.

Barael sets the ioun torch aloft and moves into the room. It looks like something larger shattered some of the gear and the Derro is just cleaning up. There's probably two full alchemy labs worth of stuff in here minus a few pieces. Dandilion attempts to fascinate the creature but it makes its save. Nikolay moves in and criticals the poor defenseless Derro. Majenko continues to try and reason with it and flies aloft watching the fight. Briar .
The Derro 5' steps back into the tunnel (hard corners so no AoOs) and casts a spell. You've seen this before… Everyone except Dandilion and Briar please make a DC 15 Fortitude or be stunned one round. Everyone except Dandilion and Briar also takes 1d8 ⇒ 5 damage. Several of the more fragile glass objects on the two table shatter and scatter more glass around the room.
The Derro grins evilly now that he finally has his wits about him. Of a sort. Then he cackles with glee and flips the bird to Majenko as he takes out his spiked club.

We'll stay in initiative for the moment. Fondo hears someone banging on the door behind him, trying to get out. He seems very insistant whomever he is. The door is heavy though, and barred on this side. No voice can be heard through the heavy door.
