I suggest this:

I will trigger the trap. Someone fast run across the area while the trap has sprung and is resetting. There is likely an off switch up here somewhere. I could run if needed, but I have short legs...

The trap spends the round resetting no problem to cross 10' of the pressure plates the person doing that could also move. Who wants to try?


Put him on the back of the cat and the cat should have no problem bounding over the plate.

Perhaps we should check the switch for traps too? I will activate the trap again and rush back over to the other side as it resets. I can take turns activating while the others scurry across.

Cela flips the switch. The statues no longer move.

There is a set of of grand brass double doors behind the statues. You find nothing else besides the statues and switch.

I know little of the arcane arts, but it seem like now would be the time to ready all the big spells and protective magic, etc. It will do no good once we have completed our mission; or died trying.

I also strongly suggest we use any of the items we have gathered on our way.

Cela: Scrol of Barkskin? On Fahari

Anaba: Potion of Bull's strength?

Oil of magic weapons we have 4 doses. Let's pass 'em out.

Rolande: Elixer of Tumbling ?

Fernleaf: I shall ready the Invisibility potion.

Anyone else?

These are merely suggestions while going through our list of expendables.

I will take any buffs available, including Mage Armor, if possible, please.


I am not sure I want to use that stupid wand here. it will likely just get me killed

Sekkim crosses safely and wands everyone who wants to be wanded.


I will drink the elixir, +10 for an hour to my acrobatics. Is there enough Mage Armor for everyone to get a dose? Both guns loaded with pitted bullets, will drop the backup weapon on the weapon cord after the first blast.


You can use the items and it has no effect on your gold or items you get on the chronicle. You only have 2 oil of magic weapon

Once the Mage Armor is cast I will cast Shocking Grasp from the wand, drop the wand into other hand just before we open the door.

I believe we might be better off letting someone else have the Oil of Magic Weapon. I can enhance my weapon from arcane pool and with a feat. Also I thought I had replaced my Potion of CLW from the big box!


Anaba would benefit with Oil of Magic Weapon.

It would be better to have four people with magic weapons rather than three, no? Cela has a pretty good AC competitively. Should she take it or Sekkim?
