SOB!

Dark Archive

Rolande ads a little more damage, but the last threatening skelly hands on by a thread!
Buchart and Sekkim are up!

Scarab Sages

Male Gnome Wizard Illusionist Specialist Lv 12th

Just checked a paizo resource and bullets are both piercing and blunt...Sorry Rolande. Out of combat sort of. Two in the pit if you add some light easy to kill with disrupt undead

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

I will do just that. Sunrod and Disrupt Undead.

Take that bones!

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

Now I can't help but wonder what will happen when we open this gate! Someone needs to piggy-back Fernleaf over to the trap...uh, I mean wheel. He and Cela should be able to figure out if ill things will happen when opened! Then I might go dry out my towel!

Silver Crusade

crossbow : 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (11) - 2 = 918 = 18

You spend some time searching. There is only the big wheel in this room. Do you want to recover the mace?

I don't think I will risk it since it wasn't masterwork/magic. Besides, I have my trusty Greenwood staff if I need to do blunt damage! I will also keep the sunrod with us since it lasts for 6 hours, or did I need to drop it to see the aqua-skellies? If so, I think we need to add some fish to this pond. They would look lovely with the lighting effect of the sunrod!

Very cool! I will keep it then!

You can keep the sunrod, someone could have cast 0 level - light spell.

Wheel door or somewhere else?

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

OK! Let's kill us some frogs! I'm getting hungry after all this swimming!

Detecting magic on the room, bottom of the pool and wheel.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I can't breathe easily with the frogs in their making their horrible noises.

*shudder*

Someone big go up and kill them. Please.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will check for traps on the door, discover if it is locked, etc.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

I will then get the Hell out of the way and step to the back.

Please manage the movement on the map for me. I am not sure how jostling through the hallway might work with so many people in the way. But I am small - like 2 ft small - so should be able to run under people and between their legs, etc.

Dark Archive

Buchart scans and finds no magic in the wheel room or in the hall including the frog room door. Fernleaf finds no traps either and moves away. As with the other door it is very swollen and will be hard to open - easier to break down.

Open or bash?

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

I'm all for bashing, but that blows any surprise we would have on the froggies!

Do we have a tool with us that will allow us to auger out a hole in the door? We can find out that way if the water level is higher in the frog den than out here. And, we can get a count of frog legs! I'm famished!

http://www.famishedfrog.com/

Which door is in the water deeper?

Dark Archive

You could work a dagger to make a hole easily though the soft door. The light you need to see will probably be a giveaway on any chance of surprise.

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

Anyone have dark vision?

Silver Crusade

Yup.

The water is slightly deeper in the east hall where you are now

-Posted with Wayfinder

i have darkvision... Fahari will allow Fernleaf to hold on to him and get him thru the water...

Does this wheel do anything?

Bore a hole in the door and I can use the flare cartridge in my backup gun to shoot in and blind the frogs.

Dark Archive

The wheel moves if you want to turn it. It seems to have been moved recently DC10 strength check to turn it, so not rusted.

Fernleaf's dream of riding a Lioness is getting closer...

Which door or doors do you want to make a hole in and how high up on the door?

Rolande will need light inside to aim at any frogs.

Silver Crusade

I imagine the wheel opens the porcullis in the bat room.

No light or aim needed. Bore hole, stick gun in hole, pull trigger, cartridge explodes in room and any frog in there is going to be blinded. We break door down and rush in and get supper.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

we could bum rush them. Half the party come in from each door simultaneously. Shoot in from this side as Rolande suggests, then break down the other door during/after the confusion. One tank, one spellcaster at each door and divide the rest logically.

I will guard the rear...

Dark Archive

check the radius you may want to aim at a target, better if you hit it.

When a flare cartridge hits its target, it only deals half damage, but the creature struck is blinded for 1 round (Fort DC 15 reduces this to dazzled), and creatures within a 20-foot burst are dazzled for 1 round (Fort DC 15 negates the effect). Flare cartridges are also useful for sending up signal flares. Firing a flare cartridge increases the firearm’s misfire value by 2 unless it is fired from a blunderbuss or a dragon pistol, in which case doing so only increases the firearm’s misfire value by 1. Flares can only be used to attack single creatures; they do not work as a shot for a cone scatter attack.

Also you expect it to take a full round to break the door down.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will creep back to what I think is the door and listen carefully for sounds of froggies.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

If necessary.

Dark Archive

"rrrriiiibbbbiiittt!" Translated hobittesse are tasty!

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

*shudder*

Ok I like my idea. Let's do it! Kill the Frogs!! They must die.

Bore hole, Cela uses dark vision to spot concentrated area of froggies, I shoot in general direction to get 20 foot radius. Since it is my backup weapon a mis-fire won't be any issue, weapon cord is attached, drop it and use main weapon.

Dark Archive

What is the action? I have two different plans right now (at least I think there are?. Also check your placement the map.

Is it Rolande make hole
Cela checks and tells him where to shoot
He fires than both doors get broken down?

Seems like the same plan, not two different ones. Blind frogs, crash in from both directions. Am I wrong? Tom, Brent, C?

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

I'll take the shallow end. I've had my dip today

Silver Crusade

i will get near whichever door is less crowded, use a mage armor charge on myself, and get my sword out to hackzor some Kermit.

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

Both sides. Good plan!

Dark Archive

OK !!
Rolande makes a nice hole as quietly as possible about 4 feet up the door. Cela looks in and spots a froggy sitting on a stone sarcophagi and advises Rolande kind of where to shoot. (50% miss chance) and -4 to hit (like blind fighting)

He fires miss less than 51: 1d100 ⇒ 39 and misses, but the flare illuminates most of the room.

Frog 1 save v flare: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Saved!
Frog 2 save v flare: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Failed!
Frog 3 save v flare: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Saved!

break those doors down DC 10!

The room is filled with water, probably as deep as the outside corridor. The chamber is in an advanced state of decay, with a gaping hole in the ceiling admitting a constant trickle of water. The three stone sarcophagi in this room are almost completely covered in a thick carpet of moss and fungus.

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

Strong and/or big people should kick down the doors now!

I will get sharp arrows and prepare to shoot from a distance, if possible/necessary. From the back. Behind the big people. A bit back, like in the rear kinda...

GMPablo wrote:

I should be rolling that!

Pistol: 1d100 ⇒ 53

i will attempt to help break down doors as i am at the front

strengthDCcheck: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16

Fahari will keep Fernleaf afloat and defend him

Scarab Sages

Male Gnome Wizard Illusionist Specialist Lv 12th

Rolande roll to hit @-4

-Posted with Wayfinder

i will also heal myself

curelightwounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Pistol: 1d100 - 4 ⇒ (98) - 4 = 94

Pistol: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Damage: Pistol: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Scarab Sages

Male Human Magus L8/Brawler L1/Bloodrager L1

Let's get in there and get this done! Please don't mangle the legs!

Still detecting magic and with longsword in hand I will run in and hit the first one I can get to, two handed with Arcane Strike!

Longsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 211d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Dark Archive

Rolande pulls off a miracle shot and hits the frog on the sarcophagus blinding it for 1 round. Cela heals herself and then breaks open the door. Anaba roll to break the door (strength check). Sekkim you can assist or try as well. (the other group will try to beak open at the same time)

Initiative:
Anaba Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Buchart Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Cela & Fahari Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Fernleaf Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Rolande Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Sekkim Initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Frogs Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

Fernleaf
Sekkim
Buchart
Cela & Fahari
Anaba
Frogs
Rolande

Jen is in transit from Frankfort, you can roll assisted (Sekkim) strength check for her.

Dark Archive

break door Anaba: 1d20 ⇒ 18 Anaba applies a boot and the door's rotten wood disintegrates. Both doors are gone.

Buchart moves up (double move in the water. (you can keep your roll for next round - did you use wand of shocking grasp?)

Silver Crusade

str: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Dark Archive

M Halfling Rogue L2

I will move up a little closer in case I am needed to save the day (at great personal cost and through shear heroism). I will ask Fahari to go in front of me. To gain strategic advantage... of course. No other reason than that. Tactics. Strategy.

It smells like amphibian around here. Makes the hair on my toes stand up...
