I just want to throw it out there, this kobold lair adventure coming up is the first adventure I wrote for this campaign, many years ago now it seems. As such, it’s gone through several revisions as the campaign has progressed. I hope the version I’ve committed to now turns out to be fun!

Hey y’all, just a heads up. We are finally taking our honeymoon and are leaving on the 31st and will be traveling through the 13th. I might be able to post during that time, but no promises. I was hoping to get through this combat before hand, so I will be Jonny-on-the-spot over the weekend as much as possible. If not, no worries, I know weekends are sacred.

Greatest apologies for the extended absence, but my wife, myself, our three cats, and all of our earthly possessions have made the trek from California to Oklahoma safely and we're about half unpacked/moved in at this point.

Still a *ton* to be done, but we have something resembling free time in the evening now so I will be back to posting dillegently.

Yep, with the way the tunnel is curved, you’ll have to move into the spore cloud to get line of sight on the fungbold. But, if Liamae can continue to target touch AC, she has the best chance to hit. Not gonna lie, y’all are in a tight spot.

Leaving for a vacation tomorrow: Hawaii bound!

I have never been! I’m honestly desperately under-traveled, though with moving to Oklahoma and vacationing in Hawaii all within about a month of each other I seem to be making up for it, lol.

We’re flying into Lihue, and our hotel is in Lihue as well (I think). I am looking forward to it! (Especially given that, after only a month of being an ex-Californian, I am already desperately missing easy access to fresh seafood.)

I haven't been to Kauai. We did the big island on this last trip. Hope you travel safe. Get some poke tuna and lomi lomi salmon!

Also looking at the Inventory Tracker, Iagon has some illegal potions, which are a sign of my bad GMing early on. They are: Aspect of the Falcon, and Dead Eye’s Lore.

Either I can allow you all to use them, could be useful now, OR I may want to switch them out for something legal, such as Cat’s Grace and Bear’s Endurance… witch could also be useful to the group right now.

ok, I cleaned up the Inventory Tracker a bit. Mostly, I cleared out Kytes and added in Fenchurch.

One thing I noticed though, is boy howdy y'all are potion rich. Although there's no Lesser Restorations, you might want to take a look at what you've got before moving along.

Also, I'll be in a cabin up in the mountains this weekend, so likely no posts. So, think about what you want to do and we'll pick it up next week.

Further news! I've updated the Campaign Journal up through Day Nine. Day Ten is exploring the Bog Cave.

I think the main concern is Turante's Con damage. If she's good to continue I am, but I'm also okay with going back to rest first so she can heal up.

My main objective is to implement an in game calendar, which I’ll do using this website.

Now all I gotta do is figure out what Golarion year this is taking place in. I think there’s an established ‘present’ year for Paizo material, but I also think that might have changed since the release of PF2e. Maybe those of you who run published Paizo adventures can help me out. All I know is, this campaign started on the Spring Equinox, five years after the events of the Dragon’s Demand module.

The website defaults to 4712 AR, which I might just as well run with that.

APs/modules/etc are assumed to take place in the Golarion equivalent year of the "real world" year they were released in.

The formula is Earth year + 2700 = Golarion year.

I'll use Dragon's Demand as a reference point, since we're currently dealing with some stuff that assumes that module happened. DD took place in 4713 AR, so depending on how long after DD you want this all to be happening, that would likely put us somewhere in the 4713-4714 range.

yes, that AP was released after we started this campaign. I know little to nothing about it, so I like to view this campaign as an alternate timeline to that one. In other words, I'm ignoring it.

It also looks like AR 4718 is also the end of the 5th Mendevian Crusade and (maybe?) the final book of Wrath of the Righteous? So, perhaps that's what Kytes went off to take part in. Glad that lines up too :)

I know there's a lot to keep track of, which is why I'm doing the Campaign Journal thingy. I also think I might put together a Quest Tracker of sorts to help y'all (and me) keep track of all the dangling threads.

I’ve added a bunch of images to the Discord for your amusement (in the NPCs and Monsters channels). I tried (and failed) to get it all in chronological order by appearance, but it is mostly!

I’m going to be traveling and visiting with family next week (whole family’s going to Texas Renfest! Yippee!). I’m of mind to hold off on starting combat until after the holiday, but if y’all have a plan you feel confident in, I can try to kick it off today or tomorrow.
