Sarenth |

Sarenth is going to replace Mending with Detect Poison. He's gotten a couple of days worth of rest, so I figure it might be okay? If not, he'll wait to do this until tomorrow morning.
Wisdom check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

Sarenth |

"She managed to sneak herself on board after me. Found herself a nice little hiding spot, built herself a nest, and apparently it was laying time. Who'd have thought?" Sarenth asks many questions about the faith, and in particular about practices and rituals, worship, temples, and how the priesthood of Besmara works with the faith, as opposed to the priesthoods of other faiths.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

"Oh thank you, thank you!" She says happily. "I really needed this back. It was my mother's..."

Sarenth |

Sarenth looks up at Isabella. "Yeah. Definitely lighting up. I'd recommend either staying away from it, or watering it down and drinking it very slowly. I'll be doing the former, but I prefer different spirits. Around her, I want my head clear, too." He hands the remainder of the rum back.

Brillup the Dart |

He lets the moment hang for a while. Letting her enjoy just having the violin back. You will play something for me at some point, won't you?

Noro_Kasuri |

Snoring soundly. slung over her hammock like an sack of potatoes Noro lies there drool driping from her mouth and pooling up a bit on the floor. her hair a tangled mess. one would think she's dead were it not for the snores.
yes she is not very lady like

lexibean |

Okay! I think that it was just Durvin waiting to see if he could catch Isabella. :)
The next day dawns fine - Noro feels a bit better but not completely.
Isabella's Job: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Rope Work (dc 10 profession sailor) (dc 10 Con not to b fatigued0
Reck's Job: 1d6 ⇒ 2 Rat Catcher! DC 10 stealth, survival, or dex to catch rats!

Some stuff happen today! Just gimme a little flavor. :D

Sarenth |

Sarenth spends most of the day running up and down the ship, dodging between busy crew members and around and over the various moving parts of the ship. As he goes, he tries to keep an eye out for things that Skipper can eat, and snags anything he can find.
Con to avoid fatigue, shirking: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
Dex check to run, shirking: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Dex check to hunt for Skipper: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Reck'Avok |

Reck lurks around the lower decks, stalking rats. He sets snares and bait for some, but the majority he runs down and pounces on.
1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 4 = 11
By working diligently, Reck collects enough rats to keep Plugg off his back for the day. Reck proceeds to neatly skin and dress his little meat snack bundle, and heads to the galley to donate them to the stewpot.
along the way, reck will definitely cross paths with Sarenth on his errands, who sees a nice brace of familiar snacks strung on a line that Reck is carrying.

Noro_Kasuri |

Noro works her josb makeing the repairs but there is some extra coin in her purse from the other day.
[b]I do believe there may be a damaged doorway by the quartermaster. it may be a good tome to pay a vist.
Noro does her work but is rather hurried in an effort to finally vist someone.

Isabella Valencia |

STR check, working diligently: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 it was prof sailor or STR check right?
Isabella spends most of her shift in contemplation. When the bloody hells are we actually going to dig up some treasure or go plundering a port or the like? This captain doesn't say somethin' of interest soon, everyone's going to tire of swabby work.
CON check for fatigue: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
Between the vigorous work and the deep thinking, Isabella eventually finds herself slowing down and breathing more heavily. Shouldn't be run down already...is it that rum? Is it getting worse? Can't let this slow me down. Gotta stop drinkin' that rum...don't care what they're tryin' to do, can't be havin me strength flag like this when it counts...
Upon finding a spare moment, Isabella attempts to find an out of the way spot to rest, hoping to shake off the drowsy ache, instead of just ignoring it. fort save, kick addiction: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Good rum, though...maybe they'll stop the druggin' soon...surely they don't drug the whole crew's drinks...maybe once we prove we're worth our salt they'll stop that nonsense...

Durvin Tamish |

I was kind of waiting for a response from either Lexi or Isabella, on whether I found her. I guess this means I didn't?
Durvin just realized he found the part he likes the least about being a cook. He finds one of the pigs, and decides things will be easier if he gives it a nice day before it loses its life. First he coaxes it out with a few nice carrots, then he give a nice rub down, brushing it as best he can. Finally, with a rope, he leads it up on deck, and runs around with it a little. Once it gets tired he sits down with it by the side of the ship where the edge is open for sluiceing water. Once the animal has relaxed and fallen asleep, he says goodbye, and performs the deed. He is wiping his eyes and sniffling as he returns with the bled animal to Ambrose. "Hey, you mind if I take a breather real quick? The work took a bit out of me, emotionally." His normally high spirits gone, he wanders up top to reflect.
Survival, work diligently 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 4 = 21
By the time dinner rolls around, he adopts one of his practiced methods of getting rid of his rum to avoid having to drink it. He'll once again try to find Isabella.
Dump rum 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
If he finds her this time
"So, how has your first few days gone? How'd you like last night's dinner, made it all by myself. I'm learning some new things, and making some friends. The cook says the ship is toxic and the Captain mean, but namely the first mate is someone that delights in treating others maliciously. I also have manged to make a little headway into the good graces of Jape, the half-orc amongst the bunch that came to harry us the other morning. Did you know he is mute? His tongue was cut out. How about you, are you making any new friends?" Durvin speaks kindly to her, as if he already easily considers her amongst one of his friends.
For those rolling to kick addiction, you are only addicted in the first place if you fail a DC 5 fort save. It says "attacks Fort with a -5" because in my game I use saves like 4E does defenses. So there it attacks the fort defense with a -5 on its attack roll (because it's a DC 5).

lexibean |

Sorry, I was gonna let Isabella respond, but I think you're right, she probably missed it. Poke poke Isabella! :)
Durvin totally finds Isabella today! :D
Going to let Reck talk to Sarenth and Durvin to Isabella, if you like, then I'll run the day's events. Just lmk if you want to move along; I'm in the US visiting some friends and stuff so I'm trying to let you guys run with things today.

Isabella Valencia |

Isabella jerks awake at the halfling's chatter. "I nodded off? bugger all..." She stretches a bit and rubs her head, trying to take in all his talk at once. "You need to slow down, mate. Head's still not quite right. I guess it could be worse though, just wish we got to do some actual pirating. Good to 'ear you're makin' new mates, but I wouldn't get too attached to any of em just yet till we know who's stayin' and who's gettin' cast off."
"Oh.."As she stands to return to work, she does turn back a moment. Dinner was refreshingly good, thanks. I've lived off worse fare, but whatever you did was a far cry from the halfhearted slop they had before. Nice work."
wordy little fish, ain't he? I wonder...
"Oy, I wonder..." She glances around to make sure no one's eavesdropping, then kneels down to get to eye level. "You been skippin' your rum ration? You don't look half as beat as me or some o' the others here."
Don't worry if I don't respond to a post in short order, my posting times have suddenly become a little erratic, along with the rest of my schedule. Life changes and all that.

Noro_Kasuri |

Noro makes her way to see Grock her work effetivly done for now or at least passable.
Sho, grok? ish it? I am looking to make shome purchashes here, In particular, a little treat found among shertain Shoanti tribes
looking to obtain some barbaian chew

Durvin Tamish |

Durvin looks a little chastened by the question, "Well, no, I haven't been drinking it. I've been slipping to those that have no problem chugging the stuff. It helps that I don't get noticed much as a halfling with a mostly human crew." He shrugs, "I just don't like the stuff. I enjoy the sea, and I don't want to drink to forget life on it."
He looks around, "Any clue what happened to all our stuff? I have a few things I would like to have back."

Sarenth |

Sarenth looks around, making sure that nobody will overhear. "Oddly enough, I do. Although she managed to sneak herself onboard and hide away very neatly before I found her. I was just working on finding her something to eat. Rats and similar seemed like something decent to put on the menu."
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Edit: D'oh!

Durvin Tamish |

Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Durvin eases closer to the action to get a listen. He'd come up for a breather after the grisly affair with the pig, but now this sounds exciting. He waits with baited breath to see if a description follows of what may lurk below.

Sarenth |

"That's very generous of you. Maybe I can return the favor sometime. I can cast a few spells, and I have more available if I have time to study. Maybe I have one that will be of use to you someday." Sarenth will accept the offered rats, and take a moment to deliver those and his own catch down to Skipper before going about his duties as a runner.
Perception to notice Jack Scrimshaw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
He stops what he's doing and heads toward the boss-type-man.

Noro_Kasuri |

Noro is actually a little late since she was a shirking a bit to see grok, but she never got there before all of this.
She just eyes Plugg if he says anything to her.

Reck'Avok |

Reck bellows a savage laugh. "Been too damn long since I killed somethin' worthwhile, by th' Storm an' th' Surf! Whatever beastie in th' bilge is giving yer boy there shivers, I'll 'ave its 'ead on yer bunk an' its 'aunches in th' galley for Fishguts t' burn before th' next bell sounds!"
Turning to head for the hatch belowdecks, Reck thumps Noro on the shoulder, friendly-like. " Figure you an' me best lead th' way in. We'll get this thing atwixt us an' beat all nine 'ells out of it."

Noro_Kasuri |

Noro looks to Reck and whispers to him I can think of shhomething elshe to beat the nine hellsh out of nodding toward Mr. Plugg
Noro heads below with reck. the two brawlers will take the lead
Looksh like The Iron Maiden and Reck-n-ball will handle thish
