Hello Everybody! This is bright and sparkly Zoey, and I'm just back from a mission outside of the pact worlds The space station's little sister is wearing a glittery dress with a tag 'property of AbadarCorp Entertainment'. Tagged onto the dress is a yellow sticker, which has the text 'radiation containment' in serious lettering written on it, and a red stamp that says 'cleared'.

Here's a friendly reminder that AbadarCorp Entertainment is supporting the refugees with the proceed from Star Sugar Superstar! Yay! Zoey claps with overly sugary exaggerated excitement, And to celebrate, our very own fanclub members have been selected to accompany some fresh supplies to help out the refugees.

Still recruiting for that second table of 5-14 Ghost level dive. we've got two players, so one-or-two more would make it legal. In case we make it to three: anyone standing by for a not-for-credit replay?

Get the Variant scaling spells boon next time one is offered at a convention. You can get it by buying raffle tickets like at crittercon, or by paying $100 or more for it. Make him a technomancer. Pick energy ray as a spell even though he gets it, but the race only gets cold, so picking it allows you to have all elements. All energy rays do 9d4+9 dmg at level 20, and the cold ray will do 9d4+9+10 at level 20 if target is swimming or in heavy rains.

Honestly though even without the boon, he does make a good technomancer because of his racial ability that ups that damage. Mystics don't have much in the way of cold spells.

For clarity, boons generally can't be bought, though you are referring to a charity boon which is a special case that Paizo allows convention organizers to distribute via auction/raffle/similar fundraising effort.

The Variant spellcasting scaling 0-level spells (Galatic Magic 88) is from the charity boon "Magical Breakthrough". I helped organize the VTT convention referenced, Crittercon 6, where we received this boon and raffled it off. It was a single copy of a boon and we sold 49 raffle tickets which raised a total of $294. That is to say that I would focus on that this was a charity effort to raise money for our charity (Doctors without Borders) and that even if you were to purchase $102 worth of tickets at this you still aren't guaranteed to win the boon. As a comparison we also had some Norse Foundry dice sets up for raffle. I personally had donated $66 towards one of the dice sets which was both more than the MSRP of the dice set and roughly half of the tickets sold. I didn't win the raffle and that's okay-- it was for charity and I knew I wasn't guaranteed to win.

Additionally, charity boons are fairly uncommon for a few reasons:
1. only charity conventions get them.
2. not every charity convention will get the same boon
3. charity boons are rotated each year so its not guaranteed to see the boon again

All of this is to say that while I was extremely grateful to receive the Magical Breakthrough charity boon as a convention organizer for us to raffle off, I do not know how many conventions will have it, and in general I wouldn't recommend charity boons to people just asking for general recommendations. They can be hard to find and either not guaranteed(raffle) or cost prohibitive(auction).

At the SkalCon silent auction that boon quickly shot out of the range of what I could afford. It's a lovely boon, but the other bidders thought so too. Sometimes a charity boon will go for cheap at a smaller con, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

My technomancer with that boon, and I own 2 of those boons. You guessed it, my other boon I gave to my Undine.
Characters you don't want to risk losing early on, well a bounty is a safe bet.

Actually he is a witchwarper, forgot which class he was, but my first time playing him. Assimar Witchwarper.

I'll be playing my halfling mechanic. He's a professor by day and a demolitions expert by night.

Demo expert by night! I love that. I'll be interested to see how your witch warper plays, DG. So many clever takes on the class.

Yea, as someone that donated a bunch never expect to win anything. I was pleasantly surprised I won a few things, NGL wish I had gotten more tickets for the boon :D as my caster typically doesn't use cantrips because after a few levels they scale so poorly.

Looking for a game of Bounty 3 - The Green Place

It's the last bounty I need to complete the set and I'd like to play it before I run it.

Oh ... and speaking of that boon earlier - I won it. It's going to my new undine who I also purchased the boon from Galactic Magic with ACP that requires the PC to have a spellbook. I hope the two boons are compatible.
