Before I click the link, is that the one with Patty Gurdy?
Yes it is.

Those were some pretty bad rolls all around. I don't feel that tracking has ever been the crews strong point though Kaul's sniffer is pretty useful for short bursts.
So what next- keep wandering toward the water, explore the boats, find another way to get a look over the area? That tree Ricard climbed was pretty shrubby.

FYI, I'm the Overseer GM for the GameDay PFS1e special, and I have no idea what the time commitment is going to be for it--I've frontloaded all of the overseer posts and saved them on Google Drive, so I can drop them into the various game threads quickly, and that will help. I may be slower to post, though.

Mighty impressive Jimmer - congrats!
FYI all - my work has ramped up this week, so might be closer to weekend before I get clear enough to post. Please bot Kauly as necessary.

Black Dow |

Apologies Skipper - for some reason board isn't showing updates for our mischief and mayhem.
On another note (and slightly remiss of me) - I'm running a Castles & Crusades (essentially AD&D+) underdark epic in Night Below.
Scran is already onboard but if any of you are interested here's the game: Black Dow's Night Below - have a couple of slots open (upper limit is 8 PCs) should it pique anyone's interest :)

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

More work headaches o'er the weekend chaps... planning on taking some time off in a week or so, might be then before I get the energy to really focus on meaningful posting. Skipper - please bot Kauly as required, you know his modus operandi ;)

Swarm rules from AofN pathfinder 1e
A swarm is a collection of Fine, Diminutive, or Tiny creatures that acts as a single creature. A swarm has the characteristics of its type, except as noted here. A swarm has a single pool of Hit Dice and hit points, a single initiative modifier, a single speed, and a single Armor Class. A swarm makes saving throws as a single creature. A single swarm occupies a square (if it is made up of nonflying creatures) or a cube (of flying creatures) 10 feet on a side, but its reach is 0 feet, like its component creatures. In order to attack, it moves into an opponent’s space, which provokes an attack of opportunity. It can occupy the same space as a creature of any size, since it crawls all over its prey. A swarm can move through squares occupied by enemies and vice versa without impediment, although the swarm provokes an attack of opportunity if it does so. A swarm can move through cracks or holes large enough for its component creatures.
I beg to differ ;-)

Sorry Skipper - aye been swamped with work and family visiting. They're off to a wedding down in Engerland so have some free time - will get to postin'!

James "Madman Jim" Patterson |

I'll be on vacation for the next couple of weeks, and have been tied up getting ready for the trip and minimizing the mess my backups at work will have to deal with.

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Work and visitors continue to stymie me - will try and get a post up by Skipper's return, but if in any doubt please bot to push on.

Corliss Blackboots |

I'm around but somewhat busy, so I wouldn't complain about some time off for a summer vacation....

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Apologies for the radio silence shipmates - have had a rough time of it - long story short we occupy my sister in laws farm cottage and have renovated it/improved to a high standard - my wife works in her sisters cattery adjacent to the premises in lieu of rent. All was well until her sister announced she was suddenly closing the business at end of the year - we were in discussion to potentially buy her cottage and stay in our home but relationship has broken down and just last week her sister and mother announced they want us to leave :(
So cue a week of house-hunting/morgage arranging and family angst. All this was stirred up by her brother who is visiting from Dubai with his family. We all get on great but he's an opinionated guy who always seems to tell folk how to run their lives. His mum and sister listen to him and as such we've been stiffed.
We'll be fine, but its been an emotional week for my wife (who feels ostracised by her family who she's selflessly devoted to) and the impending dread of leaving a home we love and have made our own.
Mentally I've not been at the races at all, but with a week off work now I'm hoping to recharge and re-engage with my gaming. Appreciate the patience and apologies for any discontent caused.
BD/Gary

Ugh! That sounds horrible. I hope you and your wife can get through this mess relatively unscathed. My thoughts are with you both.

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Cheers mate - its been an emotional car crash but we'll get through it, just feels like the end of something right now rather than the beginning...

That's the worst, BD. Sorry to hear it. If it's any consolation, my brother often gets dollar signs for eyes and leaves me in a situation. Once I wised up and determined that I would NEVER enter into any financial or economic arrangement with him, we're fine. That is to say, my hope is that once things settle down, all will be good again between you all and your wife's family again. It is awful to lose your home though.

Black Dow |

Yeah Skipper we're in this maelstrom of property scouting, viewings... got our mortgage approved though, so now its a waiting game for that property which will be our new home.
Still we're mentally and spiritually drained so not much left in the tank for naught much else :(
Downside is I'm back at work and returned to the usual sh!tshow that welcomes me from time off. I'm also trying to manage a job remotely in Mozambique, using personnel that have only seen our equipment in training - never actually used at well site. Have a duty of care and we're running a remote support centre with them which means in addition to my usual work need to focus on them...
This is literally how I'm feeling at the moment!
Hopefully all will be clearer by the weekend, but might not... will join/post when I can.

Interviewing tomorrow for my boss's job (she's moving to another directorate). Wish me luck!
Good luck, Jim!

So finally some fair winds from my corner o' this mad gold lads - after a mad 3 weeks of viewings and reading til we're cross-eyed of house reports... we found some shortlisted options. The best of these was right at the top end of our budget but was lovely... we popped in an offer at the asking price (fully anticipating being kicked back for a higher offer)... and it was accepted!!!!! Whoooot!
Pending legal paperwork and financials we shall get the ownership of our new home on October 15th... talk about a whirlwind! Appreciate the patience all.

Corliss Blackboots |

Yeah--the ol' "lightning strike as a distraction" was the best I could come up with. Was hoping that might catch our foes' attention. :(

This past week or so hasn't been as bad as Kaul's, but still pretty packed. I have an unofficial follow-up interview with the head of the directorate I'd be doing safety support for this afternoon, and I'm also getting ready for a work trip to Virginia next week.
On a completely different topic, my wife ran across something on Facebook that stuck with me, for some reason--don't remember the exact quote, something like "GMing a homebrew campaign is like buying an amazing cat tower, setting it up...and having your cats ignore it to play in the box, where they promptly get sick trying to eat the packing peanuts."

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Sounds bang on - I do lament the Skipper's job in keeping us on a semblance of a track for all this time... which is ironic given I'm one of the worst of going off piste due to Kaul Moronic Neutral (with murderous tendencies) alignment :S
Hur.

Speaking of impending doom, we've been having fun with Mothership lately. It's still unclear if anyone survived our last mission as there's a standard 40% chance that the half of the party that escaped wont be located and will drift through space forever in cryo.
