Chimera Cove lies at the southern tip of a rocky and storm-swept cape projecting into the Inner Sea, in a no-man’s-land between the great nations of Cheliax and Andoran. The three islands sitting just off shore do little to block the sea’s relentless swells, but they do effectively anchor the persistent coastal fog, making local navigation perilous. The fishermen who settled this grim seashore decades ago have a knack for maneuvering their catboats to and from their spindly docks, but no merchant ships dare use the treacherous cove, even with a launch. Few outsiders find the settlement’s steady decline in recent years surprising, wondering only at why the place was ever founded.

He then moves forwards until he can see Poltur and starts a summoning chant. His hand move in strange patters leaving scintillating trails and his eyes flare briefly with eldritch power as he shouts, "A little help down here please! Send Lemmy 'Longarms' if you can."

Aura of Menace (Su):
A righteous aura surrounds archons that fight or get angry. Any hostile creature within a 20-foot radius of an archon must succeed on a Will save to resist its effects. The save DC varies with the type of archon, is Charisma-based, and includes a +2 racial bonus. Those who fail take a –2 penalty on attacks, AC, and saves for 24 hours or until they successfully hit the archon that generated the aura. the map/grid is a bit off on the map, its a bigger room than 10 by 10. so I've adjusted the grid. the constrictor snake is huge and the elemental is large. I'm not taking any AOO this round because of the map dimension. 3D is hard to do in a 2D space but the snake is in the water and wrapped on the narrow walk way. while the water elemental is currently hanging from the roof in his water droplet.

Bug moves in and hits the snake (I adjusted the hex you moved into).

The snake attacks bug.

bite 1: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20;damage: 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19

I only took one of it's two attacks.

they were until Poltur freed the water elemental so it would fight for him. Shiqual's freedom releases the spells binding the Terraken.

Quite possibly. I'll try and stop him.

The Hound Archon doesn't hesitate and it jumps after Poltur, and tries to attack, but it's hampered by the water.

It power attacks, and has a -2 to hit penalty from being submerged.
Attack: 1d20 + 11 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 11 - 2 - 2 = 13Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5) + 6 + 6 = 21 (note this would be halved if it somehow hit.)

Quiz also doesn't hesitate, using the last vestiges of his arcane reservoir he dimensionally slides over to where the Hound Archon was (AC39). If he can see Poltur, then he starts casting a powerful spell, with his arms moving sinuously leaving trails of black energies that hiss and fizzle!

Quiz casts Black Tentacles centered on Poltur! I'm assuming the area of effect is a cylinder of 20' radius and a few feet high so it probably doesn't affect the battle above.

Grapple: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

This probably affects the Archon too, which will switch to nautural weaponry and attack Poltur next round.

When Quiz slides over to the situation he does Poltur in the water. He casts his spell and the hound needs to make its save. the tentacles slip and slide around Poltur with no effect whatsoever. Although it is difficult for you to see now with all the tentacles flopping about.

Quiz dismisses the spell (that's apparently a standard action).

The Hound Archon tries to follow Poltur and if possible it takes a powerful swipe at him, which (assuming it hits) would have left a grievous wound if not for the resistance of the water.

The Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 I hate this game and the die rolls associated. But, I'm committed to finishing it. She just NEVER gets to succeed in anyrhing meaningful. The salt in the wound is typically failing the gimme's.

Poltur swims this round, the tentacles have obscured any clear vision of where he has gone or what the side of the walls look like.

The water elemental kicks up a whirlpool which will catch the Hound as it moves to surround the hound. The water begins to spin rapidly.

Bug will stand up, then he will wait for the tentacles to be dispelled. Given that he sees a whirlpool, he is deciding against going into the water.

You all do see two other passages. The first one is behind where Quiz is standing. The other is across from where Bug is standing.

When you look behind you, you notice the end of the passage is caved in. You remember there was a cave in by the front door that you came in, so you figure you've back tracked to tht area fo the cavern.

Your more immediate problem is you are separated from the rest of the party with whirlwind between you and them. given your size you figure it can be really damaging to you.I'm not sure if you have the dim slide ability remaining.

What are you going to do?
