What are the stats on the spear? I don't recall seeing it before. Also, what are the penalties with my falchion under water? I do have a +1 bonus towards any underwater penalties from one of my traits.

Ptahh moves to the SE to intercept the gargoyles.

Move Action: move to intercept the gargoyles. Std Action: Ready an attack on the first gargoyle to come into range. Waiting for the above questions to determine if I use my falchion or the spear.

-2 and half damage I believe for none piercing weapons. Longspear is d8 with reach. Also need swim checks to move.


Per the posts in the discussion thread, I might intercept the undead whale first. Which opponent would you prefer I move towards? I think Ptahh would look toward Astri to see in which direction she points.

Note one of most misleading or meaningless DR's is magic. DR/magic. By the time groups are fighting monsters with DR everyone has a magic weapon.

without the sneak attack I read it as 12 HP of damage before the underwater penalty of half.

Ptahh pokes and jabs at the whale skeleton, which he finds is easier to hit, then most creatures. All three of his jabs it.

DR/5 for not using bludgeoning for each attack. 17, 20, 18 HPs of damage. Total 55 HP.

Chips of bone float away as the creature begins to crumble. He is destroyed. (54 HP!)

That's how I understood it as well Sorrin, which is why I said you should get your sneak attack damage now that Astri is flanking with you.

Edit:

As the mammoth whale approaches Chell raises her now feeble looking shield between it and her. Its mouth opens far larger than the shield can protect and clamps painfully on the arm holding it. Knowing it to be undead she instinctively blasts it with holy power. Or is about to until Ptahh pokes it hard enough to explode into floating gore. That just left the gargoyles. She wanted to try lightning but her companions were too close. She wasn't sure what it would do.

Icicle Touch AC: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Cold Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Gonna conserve magic I think. Use Icicle on closest Gargoyle.

I'm having issues accessing the map from dropbox.

Ptahh moves to engage the gargoyle attacking Sorrin.

Not sure I can get there to attack this round, but will post an attack... just in case.

Ptahh draws his falchion as he swims over, shifting his grip to attack as a piercing weapon and thrusts the falchion at the Gargoyle.

When the active kapacointh falls, Astrianna looks to the other to see if it is moving. She is already on the waist pouch of the first gargoyle but the time she starts speaking. "Ptahh, either squeeze some information out of why there are petrified creatures and undead whales about, or finish it off. Frankly I'd rather be done with it and move on."

She holds up one of the blue diamonds to the sun above the waves, and whistles- or tries too, it just makes a stream of water. "These would look fabulous set in a ring..."
