Since ya'll get up before me, here are some rolls:
perception 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35
disable if needed 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32
stealth 1d20 + 18 + 40 ⇒ (9) + 18 + 40 = 67
Lucrezia will be sneaking ahead, looking for traps after being invised with the +2 longsword out in case her and gerard sneak up on someone to flank.
baldwin the merciful
The loud grinding clanking of the heavy portcullis lifting bounces off the stonework announcing that the door has been opened. The once raging fire in the doorway has now diminished to a five foot area, and the smell of both charred death permeates the air. From what Lucrezia and Gerard can tell from their initial movement down the death hall, is the room ahead is aglow in reddish amber haze.
Gerard Nisroc
Gerard move forward, attempting to ascertain the dimensions of the next room.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Yeah, this is going to be fun. Boo. With any luck I'll be up to 7/8 when combat begins.
Lucrezia Villanova
Lucrezia continues to stealth down the hall as she looks out for both traps and anyone waiting in ambush.
Want a set of rolls for anything as we go down?
baldwin the merciful
Lucrezia I'll use your first roll you post yesterday initially.
As the two of you reach the doorway you see the fire that has now been reduced, inside the room is a large table that has been turned on it's side smoking. There are two creatures there. The first is snake-bodied humanoid hisses with anger. Spines of crackling flame dance along the creature's blackened, fiery-red scales. The second creature has wickedly barbed chains adorn this lean figure, and gaps in the bindings reveal deathly pale flesh etched with jagged scars.
Lucrezia and Gerard knowledge - planes.
chained creature's perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
fiery snake: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26
The fiery snake like creature hisses, we see you human. the room itself is quite a bit warmer than where you are standing.
You note that you do not see Henk or anyone else in the room, there are 4 coils of chains that you can see, there is puddle of goldish red liquid that is running in the grooves of the flagstone floor, and assorted array of gear is there mostly burning.
Unfortunately, I ran into the office this morning and I don't have the map to show you. I should be home by 4 and will update the map then. Before folks start taking action, I'll need to roll initiative and show the map, which I can't do at this point. In other words, I can't tell you where in the room they are since I don't have the map. Feel free to RP a bit.
Andrea1
Andrea hears the message.
Know Planes: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
This doesn't sound familiar, but it seems that there are two creatures in there. No Henk though. Do we want tot ake the bait?
If these are evil out siders, they would have taken 7d8 worth of damage if they were caught by the Holy Smite
baldwin the merciful
If they were caught in the holy smite when it was cast.:-) An awful lot of time passed between the spell and the move into the room.
Lucrezia Villanova
Lucrezia will attempt to move around the creatures, I will be more specific when the map goes up.
Do I have any idea whether a silver or a magical weapon would work better?
Daniel Arrisen
Do I hear any of that via the MESSAGE? If so, Knowledge:Religion 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
baldwin the merciful
Know Religion is not going to tell you anything especially since you can't see what they vaguely described
MAP for Lucrezia and Gerard's POV
The snake/lizard is haloed red, the chain thing is yellow.
Lucrezia make acro roll to avoid the fire in the doorway. Gerard you will need too if you go in the room.
anyone going in the room via the door way will need to make an acro to get by the fire.
baldwin the merciful
Did I interrupt a mating ritual?
Messin' RP until we get down.
I didn't realize you were taunting the two creatures.
The chained creature snickers at you as it swings a chain with incredible dexterity. "Gouging and flying your flesh will be huge turn on for me." It says as a matter of fact.
make perception Gerard

Back! Great movie!
Hearing that there are strange otherworldly creatures in the room, Andrea touches Orsin's blade and murmurs a spell.[/b]
ALign weapon, good aligned 7 minutes
(Whisper message) If these are anything like the Erynies, we will need special weapons or spells to damage. Let us kill them.
baldwin the merciful
Wasn't exactly what you all were expecting in this room, I bet.

Whisper to Andrea... B!@tch has my gloves. Desna guide my blades...
Gerard steps into the flames, but not out. From within the flames a flight of the daggers erupt, seeking the flame-beast.

Lucrezia uses her magic bow to shoot some silver arrows at the chain devil looking thingy.
baldwin the merciful
Lucrezia do you have spiked chain on you?
RD1: Kyton
The creature hisses and animates two of the nearby chains( N9, N12) and they begin to dance and twirl around.
One chain lashes out in the direction the arrow came
Lucrezia: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25;damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 = 8
The second chain extends its 10 feet then lashes out anther 15 feet at Lucrezia. I've haloed the dancing chains white on the map.
Lucrezia: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26;damage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 = 5
"Yes listen to the flesh rip....absolutely delightful."
Lucrezia Villanova
Why does the devil's talk turn me on?
Lucrezia is not carrying any chains upon her person.
Figuring that the devil is controlling the chains, Lucrezia fires her new bow at it again.
evil outsider, magical bow, silver arrows, using rapid shot this turn...

I asked she cast it from our scroll. Also, do these guys qualify for the Andoren Freadom Fighter trait? Are they slavers or are they holding folks (sp we count) against their will? Of so attacks were 26/23/26 and damage was with Divine Favor) 22/26/21=69.
Lucrezia Villanova
Didn't pay attention to the fact that we had a scroll of it when you told me to cast it. Though wouldn't I have to roll for armor failure?
