Lucrezia will be sneaking ahead, looking for traps after being invised with the +2 longsword out in case her and gerard sneak up on someone to flank.

The loud grinding clanking of the heavy portcullis lifting bounces off the stonework announcing that the door has been opened. The once raging fire in the doorway has now diminished to a five foot area, and the smell of both charred death permeates the air. From what Lucrezia and Gerard can tell from their initial movement down the death hall, is the room ahead is aglow in reddish amber haze.

Lucrezia I'll use your first roll you post yesterday initially.

As the two of you reach the doorway you see the fire that has now been reduced, inside the room is a large table that has been turned on it's side smoking. There are two creatures there. The first is snake-bodied humanoid hisses with anger. Spines of crackling flame dance along the creature's blackened, fiery-red scales. The second creature has wickedly barbed chains adorn this lean figure, and gaps in the bindings reveal deathly pale flesh etched with jagged scars.

Lucrezia only:
You know this is not a chain devil which you've encountered in the past but it does look like the thing hanging in the knot energy center, that your party chose to by-pass. You know it's not the same one too, just a similar type of creature.

The fiery snake like creature hisses, we see you human. the room itself is quite a bit warmer than where you are standing.

You note that you do not see Henk or anyone else in the room, there are 4 coils of chains that you can see, there is puddle of goldish red liquid that is running in the grooves of the flagstone floor, and assorted array of gear is there mostly burning.

Unfortunately, I ran into the office this morning and I don't have the map to show you. I should be home by 4 and will update the map then. Before folks start taking action, I'll need to roll initiative and show the map, which I can't do at this point. In other words, I can't tell you where in the room they are since I don't have the map. Feel free to RP a bit.

You think snake thing they are from other planes...outsiders and fire related, most likely. I, also, made a small mistake earlier...you would refer to chain creature as a form of a chain devil but it has a different name that you do not know offhand.

Gerard 10 DC is the highest untrained DC.

They generally look odd to you, you've never seen or herd of anything like this in your travels. The one looks like lizard with a tail, and it looks sturdy on its feet. It does have a spear made of glowing hot metal.

The creature hisses and animates two of the nearby chains( N9, N12) and they begin to dance and twirl around.

One chain lashes out in the direction the arrow came

Why does the devil's talk turn me on?

Lucrezia is not carrying any chains upon her person.

Figuring that the devil is controlling the chains, Lucrezia fires her new bow at it again.

I asked she cast it from our scroll. Also, do these guys qualify for the Andoren Freadom Fighter trait? Are they slavers or are they holding folks (sp we count) against their will? Of so attacks were 26/23/26 and damage was with Divine Favor) 22/26/21=69.
