Dropping his club after Varian stabs the orderly across from him with his greatsword, Orange shouts, "Dun hurt me!"

Now that you've gotten past the entrance and nothing is trying to kill you, the true gloom of this place is starting to set in. Candles lit within various sconces keep the place in no more than dim illumination, which doesn't do much to make the dingy, pale green walls look more appealing.

North of Owai is a dining room with a trio of bowls half-filled with a stew filled with various chunks that are hopefully meat and vegetables; it's hard to tell in the lighting and the strange odor coming from the area.

To save SOME time as there are many doors, much open, wows, let me know which set of doors you're aiming for (all the eastern ones, the ones near the entrance, etc. Basically it'll be 2-3 doors a search.

But the bad guy doesn't know that Shi :P While GM's will vary on particulars on 'what is bluff vs diplomacy vs intimidate', I see threats of violence, as Intimidate. As the saying goes, 'violence perceived is violence achieved'. :)

Deaglan goes through several of the doors in the central area of the asylum. From near the barracks and dining hall is a storeroom filled with crude, yet effective suits of studded leather armor and a variety of clubs, straightjackets, and other equipment for subduing people. Adjacent is a set of large bins with stagnant water. Given the fact you see soap and a brush leads you to believe that's the washroom.

From the central hallway is a man chained to a wall orange straightjacked icon on the map at a small landing before a set of stairs descends below. Upon seeing you, he shrieks out horrifically.

"Light! FLESH! Why am I not skin? I CRAVE MEATING!", and begins thrashing against the chains that bind him.

The party makes their way west and Deaglan leads the way. He opens the door across from the lunatic with stairs... to find a similar setup of a man suspended by chain with stairs going downwards. She immediately cackles out in some tongue that is perhaps more gibberish than intelligible words.

Past that, a hallway leads to two doors. There is noise coming from both, but Deaglan checks the southern door first.

Two women, their straightjackets undone, are sitting over a body of man also in a straightjacket. Their hands are empty, but you hear one call out to the other. "Any 3's?" The other looks at her empty hands, sticking out her tongue and placing a severed toe on in front of the first woman. "Cheata!". The light coming in from the opened door gets both women's attention, though. "More meat prizes!" they call out in unison!

WHAM! The patient spins around in a circle before landing face first onto the body, several fingers popping out of a pocket.

The patient that Varian attacked is still alive and can be stabilized.

Looking through the rest of this area, it's a storeroom, although the location next to the the body and patients is a toilet; more mirror fragments lie here and a blood trail obviously shows where the other patient was killed and dismembered.

To the west from the hallway where the party entered the storeroom, more frantic shouting can be heard.

This lecture hall is the largest room you've come across. A man, unconfined by his straightjacket, speaks to another four men and women who stare at him in awe.

"...nd that's why the voting for king doesn't make any sense. It is our sovereign right that kinghood should be determined by the most fair way possible: the champion of rock-paper-scissors-lizard-vrock!"

The attendees clap enthusiastically, and in doing so, you can see each one has a various item in his or her hand, one has a pair of garden shears, another a fist sized piece of middenstone, a third has a large book, one has a dead iguana on him, and the speaker now clutches a statuette of some monstrous creature.

The patients finally notice your presence, the speaker shouting, "Interlopers! You weren't invited to our kingmaking!"

He moves over by the patients and casts obscuring mist so it blankets them as well as himself. Then he readies to walk out of it back to the party next action not a readied action, just stating what he plans to do next round.
