Rushing to Varian's side, Shilyn attempts to run her rapier through the orderly while he's trying to beat on her downed companion.

From his position behind Varian, he winces as he watches the man fall and struggle under the mens' clumsy blows. He sizes up the gauntlet of club-wielding thugs in his way and sighs, invoking a magical spell on himself with a gesture and a word before stepping back a pace to allow others some room.

As Shi's not very experienced with spells.. she'd never think to dispel it on her own. She's still in the 'oh wow, it worked!' phase of spell casting given her background.

Time for Deaglan to go grease skating...

Deaglan saves the orderly he just hammered.

Varian gets clubbed as he stands up. However, he swings his hammer at the one behind him.
Varian, your damage didn't go through, so rolling for it.

Owai makes room while increasing his own speed. Shilyn then darts forward, bouncing back and forth off the wall to reach the orderly in the rear of the hallway and drives her rapier into his back, felling him.

Mahasi tries to reach the others, but curses Shilyn for forgetting about her spell.

The orderlies begin their counter attack, the one at Varian swinging for his legs again.

Pink trip @ Varian: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

He clubs the other knee, once again bringing the aasimar down.

The orderly around the corner then tries to club the downed man.

And once again misses.

Meanwhile, one of the others moves to engage Shilyn, taking the club to her feet.

The half-elf just barely rolls enough to avoid breaking her nose on the middenstone flooring as she falls to the ground.

Finally, another one in the barracks room aims at the downed Varian's head.

"Hold stillz!", he grunts as Varian gets up. Backing away, his hammer lands with enough force to injure the man, but just barely. "Dat ain't fair, get back down so's I can beat ya right!"

Deaglan works his way into the fray, seeing Varian and Owai backing up slightly, and Shilyn unfortunately cornered. "Ooo, dis'll be easy!", he smiles, rising his club over his caged head to continue bashing the half-elf.

Mahasi moves forward and out of the grease. Once clear, he peers around the hall and sees the melee. He raises his hand. When he does so, a sickly green-yellow appears under the feet of the orderlies.

The one on Varian manages to stay on his feat, but the other two slide around before landing on their sides.

"Wha dis stuff?", one of them shouts in surprise.

Shilyn attempts to nimbly roll her way back to her feet before her opponent can part her hair with his club..

As noted before Shilyn, Acrobatics can't allow you to do that without the Monkey Style feat. So it'll still be an AoO to stand up for you, despite how stylish that will be :)

FWIW, they are prone, so have penalties to hit Shilyn

Owai steps back in to attack the orderlies.

Move and attack defensively, swift to engage Crane Style, target one in front of him with Crane Wing.

Owai misses the defiant orderly that has been smacking Varian.

Shilyn's acrobatics make her a difficult target and the cage-headed man attacking her misses the nimble sorceress.

Mahasi then gives the men a taste of their own medicine with his own pile of grease. Once again, the orderly now engaged with the other aasimar stands his ground, but the one in front of Shilyn and the other in the barracks falls to the ground comically, the metal cages echoing with a clang as they hit the ground.

"Stand up and get deez suckas!", one of the orderlies shouts at the others as he aims for Owai's legs.

Pink trip @ Owai: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

However, Owai uses his blade to easily deflect the club, pushing it to the side. "Wha? It werkd on da otha shiny one!", confused as to what happened.

"I show ya how it dun!", the one around the corner boasts as he tries to club Owai in the leg.

Gray trip @ Owai: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Another flourish of the blade, another failed trip.

The one on Shilyn stands up and tries to club her kneecap again.

And once again, the half-elf lands on her side. "She easy!", he shouts to the others.

Lastly, the one in the doorway stands up and aims for Owai's legs as well.

This one nearly succeeds, the aasimar having to use the door frame to his advantage to narrowly dodge the club.

Shilyn quickly attempts to run her rapier through the orderly as his leg tries to trip her once again..

"Wha?", the club slipping out of the orderly's hand after he is stabbed twice by Shilyn, once when he stood up and another as she lays on the ground.

"Huh, gotcha dis time ya flexipunk!", barely catching Owai's ankle, throwing off the precarious balance of his stance and causing him to land on his side. "GET HIM!", the proud orderly yells to his fellow lackeys on either side of him, the one in the barracks doorway standing up first.

Owai is still too nimble, rolling back and forth on the ground to evade the incoming blows from around the corner.

Meanwhile, the orderly that's on Shilyn grabs his weapon before trying to club her.

But the weapon slips out of his hands.
"Stupid club!"

Trusting in his skills, Owai tries to get to his feet and swing again.

Owai only narrowly uses is free hand to reinforce his blade from his prone position, holding black a blow aimed at his temple. Pushing the strike back, the aasimar stands up and returns steel, cutting the orderly in the chest. "Wut happened?", is all he can muster before falling into a pool of his own blood.

Deaglan, if you wish to act before any of the orderly actions, you may. There's briefly an open spot where Grey is and if you take it, Grey will return to his original position. Assuming that you won't for right now.

Another orderly steps into the other's spot. "My turn!", and once again aims for the knees.

Gray Trip @ Owai, maybe Deaglan: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

But he stumbles over the body of his fallen ally, missing terribly.

The orderly on Shilyn actually has a useful though, grabbing the club from Pink, and uses that to swing at the sorceress' legs!

And despite the cover (or thick stubby legs), Owai (or Deaglan) is tripped!

Deaglan, if you move in and act, you will be tripped on your turn. Otherwise, Owai will be tripped. Your choice, but I would think Deaglan would be happy to finally get into the fray, although the longhammer does present problems.

Varian narrowly misses the orderly around the corner, prevented a solid blow by Owai and Deaglan preventing appropriate swing routes.

Deaglan: Because you felled Green, it'll only be a single attack, but without the Cleave AC penalty now. You can change your action if you wish if you have something better in mind.

Keep my first attack, but Deaglan will move with a five foot step into the empty space vacated by green after he has gotten to his feet and taken his attack at grey (instead of green / orange)

Tired of getting knocked on her butt, Shilyn pulls back her leg and attempts to drive her foot into the orderly's family heirlooms..

Mahasi waves his hand to disperse the grease on the floor, so as to not impede his allies.

Oh yeah... Deaglan woulda had to hit the grease to get there into the spot Pink was. Since GM forgot, assuming Deaglan passed, too much retconning to try and fix otherwise <_< Thanks Mahasi!

Shilyn moves to try and aim her foot at an orderly's unprotected jewels, he grunts, and the audible *CRUNCH* causes all of the nearby men to wince in sympathy to the man who cries out, "Dat wuz not nice." in a higher pitch than his previous cries.

Owai takes the opportunity to try to get past the orderly to the left, vaulting past Deaglan and ducking through the enemies' swings, but his skills are not quite up to the task. probably

Acrobatics to try to get behind white (grey). 22 is probably not sufficient to get past his CMD+5. I guess it means he ends up back in the square he started from, provoking from the orderlies if he doesn't beat their CMD+2

Deaglan gets cracked in the head twice by the lowlifes before, one of the blows nearly breaking his nose!

@Owai: Actually, their CMD is poor... you made it! You can make your attack roll against Gray; since he's he's injured, you may disrupt Gray's action and I'll retcon things accordingly if you do.

With a pull of his bagging pants, the Gray orderly finally gets himself readjusted, although not in time to stop Owai. He does turn and shout. "Get back ova der!"

Gray trip @ Owai: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
And the aasimar BARELY stands on his feet from the sweep at his legs!

Meanwhile, the one on Deaglan will try to cause him to fall.

And the dwarf surprisingly goes down like a bag of rocks!
