Yes, this is a funny situation. A coup de grace is an automatic crit, but you typically can't crit with a fireball (since you don't roll to hit). On this basis, I shall assume the following: the fireball element (base 3d6, I believe) will do double damage (6d6) and will also gain Camlo's sneak attack damage. However, given that it is a 20' radius explosion, Camlo will need to roll a Reflex save or take the fireball damage (3d6) himself - you can't coup de grace someone from across the room, so he will have to place the thing by hand and then duck.
Please roll away.
Camlo Zenovia
Getting confused about coup de grace rules!
DMG Fireball perl: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 4, 1, 1) = 9 Ouch!
Sneak Attack: 5d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 1, 3) + 5 = 22 The +5 is bleed damage to applies for every round from now on...
Reflex: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30 You didn't mention the DC ;)

The troll sprawls on its back, mouth gaping as it snarkles away. Camlo creeps up and drops the pea-sized bead between its fangs before ducking for cover. There is a soft crump and fire explodes out of the creature's mouth and nostrils, followed by hoarse, agonized howling. But incredibly, the troll still lives. When it opens its weeping, bloodshot eyes, they are full of murder.
Yep, 31 damage is just not enough to kill an UBERTROLL!
Everyone, roll initiative.

Very Angry Troll 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Other Troll 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Camlo, you may have a problem...
Initiative
Very Angry Troll 21
Camlo 17
Enga 16
Other Troll 14
Illes 13
Alwyn 12
Hudak 8
The troll reaches out with its long arms to tear Camlo limb from limb.
He's prone, so his attacks take a -4 penalty.
Claw 1 1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 17 - 4 = 33 to hit, damage 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Claw 2 1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 17 - 4 = 16 to hit, damage 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Bite 1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 17 - 4 = 32 to hit, damage 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
If both claws hit, the troll will rend for an additional 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (1, 1) + 13 = 15
EDIT: Claw 1 possible crit 1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 17 - 4 = 29 to confirm, additional damage 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Camlo.
Sefayll Valerian
Can't do anything to stop the damage, sorry, Camlo.
Quite unnecessarily, Sefayll whispers, "Get out of there!" even as she's trying to get line of sight.
Double move to M10
Camlo Zenovia
Cool, just wanted to make sure. Looking at it, I've used to twice today though already. Gah...
Camlo, decides to make some space away from the troll, and ducks and rolls.
Acrobatics to move through threatened space at full speed: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (6) + 22 = 28 Vs it's CMD+10
Move to N13
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Sefayll Valerian
Note: Sefayll moved to M10 on her move.
Enga moves down the hall, axe in hand, and runs up to the rogue. Looking him up and down, she takes stock of his injuries. "You're not very good at this, are you? Did you tickle him first or something?"
N14 is more than a move, she will stop there to harass the halfling.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
A huge polearm bearing a long blade pokes through the furs on the other side of the chamber, jabbing at the two diminutive warriors.
He has a go at Camlo and Enga.
Attack 1 (Camlo) 1d20 + 21 - 3 ⇒ (1) + 21 - 3 = 19 to hit, damage 2d6 + 17 + 9 ⇒ (6, 4) + 17 + 9 = 36
Attack 2 (Enga) 1d20 + 16 - 3 ⇒ (12) + 16 - 3 = 25 to hit, damage 2d6 + 17 + 9 ⇒ (2, 6) + 17 + 9 = 34
Lucky old Camlo...
"Gah! Durek, I'll skin you alive!" howls Enga.
Illes.
Illes Elandru
"No, no no. That is waaay too loud."
Move to M8
SA: Begin full round action. (Casting Silence)
I should have started just before Camlo attempted the CDG, but we were listening by remote message spell. Anyway- they may hear us coming now. Will go into effect at the end of my next turn.
Sefayll Valerian
Grumbling, "Brainless ... Give me half a minute and that damage would be permanent."
Totally good with Hudak's move. But a delay until after Sefayll would have been effective.
Are the furs hiding the openings yet? Did Other Troll attack the little folk through a small opening? He does not seem to be in position to hit them.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
The troll is just staggering to its feet when Hudak hurtles in. He easily avoids its clumsy swipe and hacks it in the side.
Troll AoO.
1d20 + 17 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 17 - 4 = 14 to hit, damage 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 5) + 9 = 17
Sefayll. There are lots of little holes or slits as well as the big entrance holes. All are covered with furs but there are sufficient little gaps to see around.
Sefayll Valerian
"Aid Hudak. Force the other one to come to us."
Sefayll holds her position and readies a spell for when the other troll (left side of the hall) shows himself in the entrance to his room.
So - when "Other Troll" appears in M/17-18, Sefayll is dropping a fireball in L-M/17-18.
Hudak's dance partner is next.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
The troll clambers to its feet (provoking an AoO from Hudak). It then attacks him furiously with tooth and claw.
Very Angry Troll attacks Hudak
Claw 1 1d20 + 17 - 3 ⇒ (12) + 17 - 3 = 26 to hit, damage 1d6 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 6 = 18
Claw 2 1d20 + 17 - 3 ⇒ (6) + 17 - 3 = 20 to hit, damage 1d6 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 6 = 21
Bite 1d20 + 17 - 3 ⇒ (5) + 17 - 3 = 19 to hit, damage 1d8 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 6 = 19
If both claws hit, it will rend for an additional 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (6, 6) + 13 = 25
EDIT: Lucky that rend probably didn't happen.
Camlo.
Hudak 1.2
"Taste this, biggun!" Enga jogs up to Hudak's opponent and jabs her spear into its kidney.
Move to R17 before attacking Very Angry Troll using 4-point Power Attack. Attack roll 10+22-4(PA)+2(Blessing of fervour)=AC 30, damage 1d4+8+12(PA)=22.
BTW, the troll missed Hudak with all three attacks.
Other, less angry troll!
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Sefayll Valerian
Can I end my ready if I have identified where the troll is attacking through? Alternatively, is there a hole in the wall I think I can use in retaliation?
Illes Elandru
Sefyall- If you want to throw fire you better do it before my action. As soon as my standard action of this round happens we go into silence. I'll try to move beyond the fight to block sound going down the stairs, and give you space to cast but I can't go far enough this turn.
Illes finishes his song and the corridor drops into a profound unnatural silence. The bard carefully makes his way toward the action.
SA: Complete full round casting of Silence
Target = a copper piece.
Move to N14
Sefayll Valerian
Sefayll just shakes her head as circumstances constantly change her hastily-made plans. Backing away from the zone of silence, she waves the twice-targeted halfling back to where she now stands.
I considered going before Illes, but I did not want the troll screaming as he goes alight. If Camlo takes the cue, I will buff his defense and offense with just one spell. Is he intrigued? I think N6 is far enough for me to be able to cast.
