Enga the Ratcatcher
Enga seems to sag a little as the last troll drops and she comes out of her battle rage. “Stupid trolls,” she mutters, kicking one of the smouldering corpses for good measure.
“Now! We find Mokmurian and have that massive battle? That way!” Enga points further down the passage, past the trolls’ hidey holes. “And then …” she tilts her head and scratches her lower jaw, thinking.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
As Enga speaks there is a sudden shout and then the hiss and crackle of magic from up the hall - not in the direction of Mokmurian's lair, but in the passage to the right in the opposite direction, which the party didn't take. Enga trots up an looks in. "An elf girl with a bow is fighting the lamias," she calls back disinterestedly.
Illes Elandru
Once the trolls are down, Illes slips the silenced coin in his pocket and starts trying to staunch the flow of blood with a wand. He drags himself up the hall and does the same for Camlo.
"Elf girl?" Illes ears perk up in spite of the situation, "What? I mean she can't be part of Mokmurian's crew, right? And she's fighting lamias? Maybe she's trying to break out of here."
CMW Illes: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (4, 8) + 5 = 17
CMW Camlo: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 4) + 5 = 11
Illes Elandru
We obviously need more healing, but I matched up to the two rounds spent by others and paused to see what we would do on hearing the fighting rather than assume we would take our time. I will continue healing as we can.
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Lamia 1 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Lamia 2 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Initiatives:
Lamias 2 22
Lamia 1 delay
Illes 16
Hudak 13+
Elf Girl with a Bow 13
Alwyn 13-
Enga 12
Camlo 9+
Sefayll 9
Lamia 2 casts Charm Monster on EGB (Will save DC 17). Lamia 1 will delay to see what happens next. I'll describe the scene in more detail when someone other than Enga gets close enough to see.
Illes.
Enga the Ratcatcher
"Let's go help her - enemy of my enemy, you know."
Enga is nearest in terms of helping (though a little way down on the initiative pole) - do you think she would help based on this comment, given the parameters of the charm effect, or would she be more likely to wait and see what her friend Sefayll actually does?
Hudak 1.2
Charge to Q11, using the movement boost from Blessing of fervour. Attack roll 17!+21-3(Power Attack)+2(charge)=AC 37, confirm roll 12+21-3(Power Attack)+2(charge)=AC 32, damage 1d10+19+9(PA)=34x2=68.
"C'mon, Enga! Get some!" Hudak yells at the kobold as he rushes past her and crashes into the nearest lamia with bonecrushing force.
EGB, then Alwyn.
It was Elisile all along!
Elf girl will make a spellcraft check to determine what spell was cast on her (and if it was arcane or divine if she can): Spellcraft: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29
She will fire her bow at the Lamia who has not yet acted (Lamia 1 I believe), full attack using Rapid Shot and Point Blank Shot:
Attack 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Plus Electrical: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Attack 2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Plus Electrical: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Attack 3: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Plus Electrical: 1d6 ⇒ 2
She will then 5 foot step to V2
Alwyn
Enga the Ratcatcher
Does Enga know anything about these Lamias or their lair that might prevent her just charging right in? If not ...
"Oh, so we're fighting them too now are we?" Enga squints, then shrugs her slight, scaled shoulders and hefts her spear. "Oh well, beats sitting around ... Charge!!"
Unless she knows something that would prevent her doing so, she Rages then charges and power attacks Lamia 2, ending up in Q11. She will try to tumble to avoid AoOs.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15
Charge power attack two handed: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24 damage: 1d4 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23
By the way are these snake bodied lamias or mammal bodied lamias?
If Lamia 1 acts before her and prevents this action, let me know.
Enga the Ratcatcher
Hudak charged to Q11; you'll need to adjust your endpoint.
Oops. Make the position P11.
I also forgot Blessing of Fervour, which Enga is using to add bonus to hit, damage etc.So her to hit roll above should be 26 and her damage should be 25.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Both lamias (which are mammal-bodied, since you asked) have Mirror Image up and 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 images going. (Should have mentioned it, only just checked their tactics - a noisy fight with the trolls will have alerted them.) In this instance, I will roll for the chances to hit an image for Hudak, Enga and EGB.
Hudak - chance to hit the lamia is a 1 on a 1d7. 1d7 ⇒ 1 Hit! (Ouch)
Enga - chance to hit the lamia is a 1 on a 1d7. 1d7 ⇒ 5 Miss - one image destroyed.
EGB - chance to hit the lamia is a 1 on a 1d7. 1d7 ⇒ 7 Miss - one image destroyed. EGB also destroys an image with a near miss.
As one lamia recoils from Hudak's savage entry, the lamia that Hudak isn't attacking purrs at him, "Why so angry, my hairless hero?"
At the point where Hudak shows up, Lamia 1 will act. She casts Charm Monster on him, DC 17 Will save.
The good mood is ruined as Alwyn arrives and unleashes a blast of deific fury. The one trying to charm Hudak yowls and clutches her face.
Lamia 1 Will save 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
Lamia 2 Will save 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
Initiatives:
Lamias 2 22 (six images left)
Illes 16
Hudak 13+
Lamia 1 delay (five images left, blind until Alwyn's next turn)
Elf Girl with a Bow 13
Alwyn 13-
Enga 12
Camlo 9+
Sefayll 9
I believe it is Camlo now.
Sefayll Valerian
We have people in the room from earlier in the campaign that can see EGB. Does anyone recognize her? I ask only from a meta standpoint.
Still invisible, Sefayll uses the speed aspect of blessing of fervor to move to O16 as a move action. As she approaches, she sees how the lamias are positioned and there is a slight clink of glass as she grabs her materials and arcane words of power are followed by the sensation of static electricity building just before a stroke of lightning literally jumps between the two lamias.
She pauses to look at her handiwork and study the elven woman.
Electrical damage from Lightning Arc, Reflex DC 21 half: 9d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 2, 5, 1, 6, 2, 5) = 26 That's a lot of 1's and 2's; right at average, I guess
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Sefayll:
Reflex saves
Lamia 1 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Lamia 2 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
The lamia steps back and says through gritted teeth, "So, we are playing rough now?"
Casting Poison
1d1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33 v DC 23
Touch attack v Hudak 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 v touch AC. On a hit, Hudak takes 1d4 ⇒ 4 WIS drain. He must also make a Fort save of DC 22 or take 1d3 ⇒ 1 CON damage.
Illes.
It was Elisile all along!
I’m not certain what the lighting conditions here are like, or whether Hudak and the elf girl would be able to see each other properly past the bulk of the lamia … but then Hudak’s pretty recognisable.
“The brothers Shoanti!” calls the elven woman in a familiar sounding voice, as her gaze remains fixed down the shaft of the next arrow she has nocked to her bow. “Finding you all hasn’t been easy!”
Hudak 1.2
Touch attack v Hudak 1d20+12 v touch AC. On a hit, Hudak takes 1d4 WIS drain. He must also make a Fort save of DC 22 or take 1d3 CON damage.
Fort save vs Poison 13+11=24. Is this a multi-save poison, or, as it is a spell, does it only require one?
Illes Elandru
Illes jogs further up the hall then with a low side armed toss slings his silenced coin into the conflict.
Move to P17 (60 ft with BoF)
Toss the silenced coin into the room ahead.
Duration 11 rounds - (2 rounds last fight, 2 rounds healing, 2 rounds getting into position = 5 rounds remaining)
Aiming generally in the area of the lamias. Not too specific. Lets say U 10 if the randomized miss chart comes up and Ranged: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27 for some numbers to back it up.
Elisile Starbrow
I hope no one object if I take Hudak’s turn to keep things moving.
Hudak has just taken 4 points of Wisdom drain – ouch, as he is only of average wisdom to begin with … the wise thing therefore might be to withdraw or fight defensively, but I’d say Hudak’s general approach to things, combined with the sudden drop in wisdom, would convince him that the best – nay only – defence is a good offence. He therefore makes a full attack at the lamia, hoping to mow down additional images or get in a good hit. I assume Blessings of Fervour is still going, he will take the additional attack – disregard the last one if not.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (18) + 22 = 40 Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Attack 2: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36 Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
Attack 3: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (6) + 22 = 28 Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Two possible crits by the look of things. Confirm rolls below:
Attack 1: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (14) + 26 = 40 Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Attack 2: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (6) + 21 = 27 Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
Each of Hudak's attacks is a potential hit. Dealing with the Mirror Images:
Attack 1 1d6 ⇒ 2
Attack 2 1d5 ⇒ 3
Attack 3 1d4 ⇒ 3
Hudak shatters three more images but the lamia is not touched. Hudak feels a little queasy and has a blinding headache, but it only makes him want to finish things faster.
The other lamia gropes her way backwards before she chants a quick spell of healing.

Elisile Starbrow
Elisile keeps rapidly firing her bow, trying to take out as many images of the blind lamia as possible – if shes manages to get in a hit or two, so much the better.
Full attack with rapid shot and point blank shot on Lamia 1. While she is blind she takes a -2 to AC and loses her dex bonus (if any) to AC.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (5) = 12
Attack 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (4) = 9
Attack 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (2) = 11
Then 5 foot step to W3
Alwyn.
Elisile Starbrow
Hmmm, either I didn’t check the last map update or Lamia 1 has moved further since I posted, either way Elisile doesn’t seem able to hit or her where she is/was. If that is the case, Elisile will have to five foot step to U3 prior to her attack, rather than to W3 afterwards.
