spoilered for no real reason other than not to derail the thread with unimportant OOC rambling:

yeah i thought about not doing anything since i couldnt heal and i was thinking that we might be interrogating the goblin so killing him wasnt part of the plan. i didnt want to go attack him and people be like "WTF are you doing!?!" so i figured maybe i should just work on the wizard. i didnt know how spent the healer was, i figured he had some more healing in him. i was also thinking maybe it would be good to put a single tattoo on everyone just in case (i can scribe them when we get some story downtime since i would need to shop for inks).

TL;DR: i didnt have any other plans for actions since i wasnt sure we were killing the goblin or keeping him alive.

Sure, no problem, I'm not criticising so much as warning - you just seem to be blowing your stuff pretty quickly and, like Ez said above, going nova maybe isn't wise. The thing is, a psychic warrior has pretty cool powers, and the psionic tattoo is interesting, and its certainly educational seeing them, but not necessarily all in the first encounter. Rod usually heals out of combat by tapping people with wands, so his actual spells aren't the issue.

i gotcha. im figuring out how to budget this character's power points, i havent played a psionic character in pathfinder so i am trying to get a feel for how i should run things. this is his first combat, and i definitely feel like i overspent and i am scaling it back. the tattoos arent expensive, theyre about on par with the cost of potions. just something else i wanted to try out (and figured now was a good time since it didnt make sense for Nevharath to attack (in my head at least)).

i hope i'm not being too much of a pain in the ass here, let me know if i am and i will try to figure out something to do differently.

I did not recall that. Consider it as an "aid another" for Janosz's grapple check, then, which missed anyway due to the miss chance.

"Uggghhh..." Ezreal shivers violently, more like convulsions as he tries to push himself up. An accumulated ice layer crack and begins falling away in shards as he moves.

Should I wait until my init comes up again or consider myself to have been out and coming back in at the point I was revived?


Just wait for you init - you are unlikely to leap immediately to your feet after being knocked flat by a Cone of Cold.


Attempting to cast a spell: Concentration check 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34 v DC 27.

The goblin hisses some syllables, his limbs wrapping round Janosz's neck. Something slimy spatters on to the back of Janosz's neck - and then he feels a sudden agonising, burning sensation that gets worse and worse as it spreads down his back. There is a strong, wet smell of something rotting. The goblin giggles.

Janosz - 1d3 ⇒ 3 CON damage. And it's now your go.

I'm going for a pin attempt. Grapple check 11+13+2(blessing of fervour)+5(succesful grapple last turn)=31 versus his CMD. Did he need an attack roll for the thing he just did?

Oh, actually, you're right - Fort save. Got too excited. Although the description allows one, arguably it's a Conjuration and the stuff is just there, and you would expect that not to allow a save. But it does. Boohoo!

No - he only goes "full aberration" after a few levels. But you saved anyway, and don't take the CON damage.

Nevharath will expend his psionic focus to use call weaponry to call a masterwork sap. He will concentrate for a moment to regain his focus.

free action to expend focus, standard to call weaponry, move to regain psionic focus. greatsword is now in my off hand, blade tucked under my arm (unable to effectively attack with it) and the sap in my main hand. expending my focus to use call weaponry makes it cost me no PP, but i cannot augment it so it is only masterwork.

Nev stats:

88/96hp and 47/80pp, AC 20 (assuming Rod's spell that gave the options, from which i chose the +2 AC, is done. If haste is still going and Rod's spell is over then i have a 21)

"That was an interesting trick Jeebo. Here's one of mine." The mage throws a punch from across the room and his translucent claws streak in to deliver a solid haymaker to the goblin's head.

Ah, Janosz' only social skill...12+8=20. Aid Anothers welcome. Also, there should be some circumstance bonuses here, even if my Favoured Enemy bonus doesn't apply, as it should be pretty obvious to Jeeboo both that I hate his guts and that I''m perfectly happy to just murder him and then let the re-animators do their thing.

Also, I'm down 25 after Rod's two channels.
