GM Ascension |

The spider has partially wrapped the man in a web, so Vados doesn't need to take time to fully tie him up further unless he really want to.
The air elemental needs to make an attack against the summoner (and it then vanishes). The leopard needs to make a attack against the elf after it climbs through the window after him.
The spider moves north towards the gnome as the nearest enemy target. Doing so causes it to pass through the stinking cloud - it lacks the intelligence to avoid and is simply chasing the tremors it feels in the ground to the nearest enemy.
Fort save 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Vados picks up the unconscious man, throwing him over one shoulder and beginning to move east. He is slowed by the burden he carries though. Movement speed 20'. Cindy moves along in the air nearby.
The spider scuttles northward and becomes sickened, and as the cloud of noxious fumes fades away it can be seen struggling to keep to its feet.
Farther down the street to the east a half dozen city guard can be seen running your direction, knocking down those not quick enough to get out of the way. The are currently about 180' away from the fountain.
Firyin's thugs start backing away as well, not wanting to be left on their own to engage.
Waiting on some possible actions from the opposition.

Cindy Lu |

If Vados' normal movement is 40 is he slowed to 20, or 30 with medium encumbrance? Slight meta gaming here but a 25 now misses the summoner - he has further armored up. Do not try to engage him in melee. Did the elemental hit him at all? And lastly is the leopard making an aoo and therefore a single attack?
Bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 121d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
On Cindy's turn she plans to take advantage of being invisible to fly to where she can better see what the enemy is doing inside the inn.

GM Ascension |

The leopard was outside the window last time it attacked. The elf inside took a 5' step back. The leopard had to use 10' of movement to get in the window to continue attacking (crossing through the open/broken windows is rough terrain).
Vados is slowed to 20. At medium encumbrance he loses the monk speed enhancement bonus - putting him at base 30, then encumbrance dropping that to 20.
"Put my pal down!" the half-orc shouts as he runs towards Vados, cutting behind the fountain.
Moving back into combat rounds as they are giving chase, though init order has changed due to delays and the like.
Garion and Vayga are up. I'll get a new map and new init orders posted tonight. The half-orc is 20' from Vados.

GM Ascension |

Current init order is
The man in the breastplate, still puking inside the inn. Q24
Vados, Cindy, Aria, NPC's.
The summoner, half-orc, and gnome
Shiv, Garion, and Vayga
More yelling from inside the inn reaches the ears of Vados and Cindy. "Im po eno na strehi, če mi ne moremo dobiti nazaj Vaek bomo potrebovali pogajalsko čipa."
The two elves continue slowly backing away from the leopard, each planting another arrow in the creature where it falls to the ground unconscious.
Attacks d20 + mods = 18, 16. Damage d8 + mods = 8, 5
So that actually puts Shiv, Garion and Vayga up, not just Garion and Vayga

Cindy Lu |

Cat moves to attack the elf, whom I believe has a missile weapon out?
[dice=Bite]1d20+6;1d6+3
[dice=Confirm]1d20+6;1d6+3
[dice=Grab]1d20+6
Cindy chooses to act. After she has spoken to the enemy monk she casts Invisibility on herself and moves to S35. Also note that she did not drop her axe, but only offered it to the barbarian, who never took it.
Here is where Cindy turned invisible last round. This was her standard action when the cat last attacked. But grabbing the weapon is a move and turning invisible is a standard so she should be able to do both. Is it Cindy's turn? The map is loading solid grey for me - a problem I have not had yet.

GM Ascension |

Garion GM PC'd, will move south to be near Vados after his next move. T49
Placing Cindy at R34
Your new position doesn't offer much better view into the what is happening in the inn, though you can see through the front doors that the man in the breastplate is recovering from the effects of the stinking cloud.
The summoner has not reappeared from around the window corner he ducked behind.
Map for Cindy - though positions for her and Garion aren't up to date in int
Enemy action is up currently

GM Ascension |

As everyone begins to fall back the gnome calls out loudly. "Our business is, by nature, secretive--And as such, information is valuable and is not often given freely. In our parley, however, I can assure you that all will be done fairly, including the exchange of information."
The man in the breastplate quits heaving and choking and staggers out of the inn Double move to R30. Looking about at the scene outside he lets out a single exclamantion. "D'ast."
Seeing the guards rushing in from the east, Firyin's lackeys look a little nervous. "What now?" one of them calls out.
Focusing your magically enhanced vision towards the inn you can sense magical auras in the direction of the open window where the leopard lept through and was killed by the elves.
Vados, Aria, Cindy, and NPC's are up.
Someone will need to take a moment to show the guards the documentation and seal granting you leeway in hunting down thieves and criminals in the city to ensure there is no confusion. I'm playing it as each of you has a copy of the document, so any single one of you could use a move action to retrieve the document from your packs/pouches and hand it to one of the guards when they are close enough.

Aria Stellar |

Aria retrieves the said documents and begins moving toward the guards, floating harmlessly to the ground with her feather fall ability.
(to AH-56)

GM Ascension |

Cindy hasn't declared an action, though I think she was just planning on following Vados, flying and invisible, and using detect magic to watch for new auras - moving her to T45.
Firyin's men keep pace with Vados, one of them calling out, "I'm not going to stand here and try and take on that half-orc, that's not what I signed on for for this job."
The city watch rushes forward, drawing short swords as they do and shouting.
"Throw down your weapons and surrender." Their faces are apprehensive though seeing so many armed individuals in the area.
The two elves that killed the leopard rush out the front door of the inn, bows in hand, surveying the area.
The gnome, summoner, and half-orc are up, then Garion (who I will GM PC for the rest of this encounter - though you are welcome to make suggestions for any actions he should take).

GM Ascension |

From the direction of the south window of the inn the gutteral language can be heard again, just faintly. "Odidi dokler še lahko, da je čarovnica še vedno lahko udaril z spanju. Bomo morali, da bi dobili nazaj Vaek kdaj drugič." Followed by the very faint sounds of spell casting.
The half-orc shouts back at those at the inn, "Če ti tako praviš Krast. Kril bom umik, nato pa sem kar sem pobegniti, a nisem pogajanja s temi barabami za nič drugega kot njihovo dušo na temnem oltarju." He then begins an incantation and soon a thick bank of fog rolls outward from him blocking a view of the front of the inn. The half-orc soon appears standing at the very edge of the mist. He shouts back to those behind him. "Izgini od tod in nazaj ceha in poskrbite, da te nihče ne sledi! Bodite jim nove rekrute, če lahko."
Standard action to cast. Move action to move to the eastern edge of the fog. Acrobatics to move through the fog at normal speed d20 + mods = 18.
He cast obscuring mist.
The gnome is delaying.
Shiv, Garion and Vayga are up.
The man in the breastplate is next, but I don't expect his actions this round to be able to effect anything, so Vados, Aria, Cindy, and Shiv can also go.

"Shiv" Shivelhoff Slipshank |

Double move to S56.
City guards...my friend presents our papers. This group of thugs, which are enemies of this city and it's rightful leadership, have refused to surrender to the law. Even now, they cast magic to allude you. They should be tried for their crimes and their threats against the good people of this city. Please guard our retreat so our prisoners may be questioned!

GM Ascension |

Prior to moving you note 15 separate magical auras. The strongest of moderate power. As you move away all fifteen aura's fade from your perception, no longer within the range of your heightened senses.
Your cone of effect would not have included the half-orc, who was between you and Vados, or the gnome, prior to you moving.

GM Ascension |

The guards show some surprise and confusion at Shiv's words, but Garion pulls his copy of the document out and hands it to them, the seal of the tower at the bottom of the paper being plainly visible.
The closest guard takes it and begins rapidly reading over the short document. As Vados moves to push past the guards one of them steps in front of him to block his path till the first calls out. "Let them pass. They've the seal of the tower on this document."
Turning back to Garion the guardsman asks, his voice urgent, "How many more of them are there?" He looks beyond Garion whee the half-orc is standing half hidden in the fog and where the gnome is waiting.
Garion replies, "Five or six."
The guardsman's faces are grim, but determined. They spread out slightly waiting to see what the half-orc is going to do.
You could dump the body in one of the horse stalls, but it wouldn't be particularly hidden from anyone who actually looked in the stall.
Cindy still has an action, then it is the opposing sides move again.
I believe glitterdust wears of this round, as does the unconscious man's invisibility.

Cindy Lu |

Cindy flies to the unconscious man Vados is carrying as a move action and attempts to remove any headgear the man might be wearing as a standard. She believes that, like her, he might be wearing a hat of disguise. Regardless, she makes sure she gets a lock or two of his hair in the process.

GM Ascension |

@Cindy, you are currently holding both a great axe and a wakizashi (while the man appeared to be wielding short blades, that changed when he went unconscious leaving his weapon on the ground). Are you dropping one or both of these? If not you don't currently have a free hand to remove the mans simple hat and will need to spend the move action to sheathe the great axe (you don't have a sheath for the other weapon).
From the direction of the half-orc the faint words of another spell being cast reach those standing near the guards and Vados. The words are to faint though to make out what the spell may have been. None of you have visual sight on the half-orc with the obscuring mist in the way.
The gnome turns and runs northward, disappearing around the west side of the stables.
Pending Cindy's clarification with that, everyone can post another round of actions. Garion can put away his shield and move over near Vados to help carry the man, or take one of the weapons from Cindy if wanted.

Cindy Lu |

Sorry for my delay - traveling today: A very long day. But checked into the hotel and internet is working fine. GM, you are right. I need to use an action to store a weapon - Move action to store wakizashi in Haversack.
Question on the half orc. Last map I saw showed him one the edge of the mist. Should that mean he has some concealment (20% miss chance) but we should be able to see him? You can see through the first 5' of mist.

Aria Stellar |

Aria whispers back, "No, stay safe. The guards are here, and we still have a few of the crossbowmen from the merchants' guild. As to what's going on, I'm not sure. I expected the enemy would run away at their next possibility."

GM Ascension |

Garion will stand near Vados, mace at the ready, as Cindy pulls off a simple cap the man is wearing. Assuming Vados stops at this point then.
From behind the fog cloud the man in the breastplate can be seen sprinting northward. The two elves from the inn are close behind him.
The guard with the documents continues reading the finer details of them. "Search the area, but be careful he calls out."
Three of the guards advance wearily towards the cloud of mist, blades drawn, casting about and listening intently.
Cindy pulls a simple cap from the head of the mage representative slung over Vados shoulder, his form changes immediately to reveal a clean shaven man with medium length burgundy hair. The man is in his late 20's or early 30's. A silver headband with two small rubies holds his hair back from his eyes.
Both his height and girth increase slightly from that which he previously had. The man is around 5'8" and you'd guess between 180-200 pounds in weight.
His clothes are of fine quality, dark gray with a purple lining. Leather lamellar armor protects his torso. His shoulders are adorned by a gray cloak, also with a purple lining.
A bone necklace encircles his neck and a silver ring adorns one finger.
His boots show a bit of mud on them, but are otherwise in good condition.
Two pouches hang at is waist.
Cindy also pulls out several strands of hair. Stuffing the hat and hair into your haversack?

GM Ascension |

When the spider got affected by the stinking cloud it got a sickened duration longer than its remaining time being summoned - to sick to fight it has just been sitting there.
Hmm, okay, someone is really hoping to get killed I guess - a rescue is being attempted, so still in combat.
As Vados starts moving east again the sound of chanting from very close by echoes along the street, the voice of the man with the limp. The location of the sound is easy to pinpoint W57. A moment later the unconscious man comes awake.
You recognize the spell as a cure light wounds.
As the spell ends you hear the faint sound of feet on the cobblestone moving quickly in behind Vados. There is someone invisible to his southwest V63
Enemy action, cast spell, move, free touch on ally.
From the west and north, several more guards can be seen running towards the inn courtyard.
The now conscious captive is up, then your whole group plus NPC's. He is currently still held by Vados, and is also entangled due to the spider webbing.

Cindy Lu |

Interesting - and brave. The entangled guy should still count as grappled then, right? Maybe also prone if he is carried? Now you have two PCs in one square. Are they both squeezing? If He has Ki points he will vanish again.

Cindy Lu |

Something else just occurred to me. How did the summoner know the ninja was alive? I cannot think of a way he would outside of a standard action like a heal check. There should have been an equal check he would have gone for the rogue.
