9 - *scratches head* they should have prices for that sort of thing in the Core or Cohorts & Companions.
F#+@ing iTunes... does anyone who uses this have problems with it deleting your whole device library when you try to add new stuff?
as to the itunes thing this happened to me one time and I was pissed... however I like turned it off then back on and all the stuff was still there... But I've had the same ipod nano since like 2011 I think? so not sure how helpful it is.
As for the Manservant, would you allow the use of the Rich parents trait and the bonus money to spent entirely on a carraige (100gp seats 4, 2 drivers seat) the horse to draw it (200gp) and manservant to drive said carraige/slash wait on my silly foppish needs (paid in "advance" say for 6 months so 180gp) which would account for 580/800. Using the rest of the wealth for silly frivolous things like a cask of Old Law Whiskey, a bottle or 2 of Absinthe, spare noble clothing etc... maybe a bottle of two of fancy expensive perfume for gifting purposes, silk cravats, etc . . .
If no I promise thats cool, I have two different ideas for how I want to build this, the 'spoiled' rich dandy Or a more streetwise sort.
Eh, ok. Just have him watch the carriage or come retrieve you all if you get knocked unconscious :3

That was sort of the plan, well the watching the carraige part, I mean what respectible adventuring heroic noble pathfinder brings his manservent delving? Besides if it becomes annoying *lawls* he can be mugged and murdered or soemthing, eaten by a rapid Wombat or pugwampi, or run off to seek his own fortunes or something

So, question time.
I need to check if I'm reading the feat Feral Heart correctly. Specifically,
Whenever you receive a morale bonus on Strength or attack rolls (such as from heroism or the barbarian rage class feature), you receive a +2 bonus on Dexterity- and Strength-based ability and skill checks and a +1 bonus on Reflex saves until the morale bonus effect ends.
I'm reading that to say, you get a +2 to attack rolls and CMD and various skills like acrobatics (because they are ability checks) when raging. Meaning I'll be getting a total of +6 attack and +4 damage (+6 w/Two hands) at lvl 1 and the whole party gets that at lvl 2.
Is that right? Because my feral self who gains the strength and battle prowess of a whole extra person when I go Hulk trying to woo a proper lady is going to be HILARIOUS.Mark Thomas 66 RPG Superstar 2009 Top 16 |

There, got my character mostly done. I went with the warlock archetype. Let me know what you think/any needed changes. I may still tweak spells and feats a bit but I'm otherwise content with it.

Question bump, just in case. That feat, if I'm reading it right, is making me all bouncy inside.
You may have to do a bit of editing on the foes there, Storyteller. The way this is shaping up HP will have a tendency to go hide in a corner when we come around.

Yeah, sorry, haven't forgot you Ugg, just had to, surprisingly, work when I got to work today, Thursdays are always a bit busier then normal :3
I was gonna have to do that anyway with a party of 6, but I think keeping everything as is starting off would be okay so I can gauge how everyone's handling it.

Okies!
Going off my original thoughts on the feat and not finding anything on the forums to say otherwise the +2 you get only applies to ability checks (like lifting or tearing, and initiative) and skill checks, not to attack/damage/maneuvers.

Cool. That was the other reading that I could see. No worries. :)

Let's see...
Old Doc Boom was strange, even for a gnome. The wizened old inventor traveled the land with only one thing on his mind: building the world's most perfect firearm. He studied black powder alchemy in Cheliax and clockwork timing in Numeria and new metal smithing techniques in Qadira. He personally tested his inventions at Lastwall and shot himself in the foot in Absalom.
Then one day, in the east end of no where, Doc Boom found a human babe in a basket, dead center in the middle of a crossroads. When he saw the butterfly resting on the sleeping child's nose, he knew Desna was smacking him upside the head with a sign. Doc Boom took that baby and made it his own.
And so, Butterfly, as he named her, got to see the world growing up. Name a place and she's been there: playing, learning, and growing. She learned how to hold tools for that old gnome and saw how, even when he'd grumble and complain about it, he'd help people in need.
Of course, even gnomes can't live forever. Doc Boom was old when he adopted Butterfly. He died around the time she turned sixteen, peacefully in his bedroll. Butterfly inherited a lot from him. His love of travel. His good heart. And his gun. She was no inventor but she'd make sure his life's work didn't go to waste.
Which explains what happened on that crisp autumn morning when Butterfly approached a crossroads in the east end of nowhere. A couple of villagers ran by, being chased by bandits. Butterfly's good heart wouldn't let her just let them die so she pulled Doc Boom's pistol and she started a fight.
Almost lost it, too. The villagers got a way but she ended up pinned down behind a tree at that crossroads, bleeding something fierce. Butterfly was sure it was it. She cocked her gun and prepared to go out blazing when a glowing blue butterfly landed on her nose.
"I knew it!" a woman's voice sounded in Butterfly's ears. "I just knew it. You love to travel. You love freedom. You have a good heart. You're perfect. I should probably say something formal. RISE MY CHILD! RISE AND BECOME A SHINING FIST OF DESNA! Now! Go get 'em!"
With that, Butterfly's wounds were healed. Old Doc Boom's pistol began glowing. Those bandits might have been able to kill the adopted daughter of an old gnome inventor... but they didn't stand a chance against a paladin of Desna.

The temple of Shelyn was in a buzz. Prayers were interrupted, performances cancelled, tutoring sessions delayed. Every person made their way to one of the gardens near the entry and crowded around to gawk.
A Shoanti had come.
And not just any Shoanti. This one dressed in an odd assemblage of styles. Fetishes of the Kellid tribes hung from him, but his clothes were distinctly Shoanti, specifically the Tamiir-Quah (The Wind Clan). How a member of this reclusive, territorial clan made it to this temple in Magnimar was just one of the whispered debates that swarmed about the sweet smelling hedges.
Then there was his instrument. A Belkzen War Drum used most often by rampaging orcs. It sat before him on the ground. The more traditonal instructors around muttered about crude construction techniques and the wear that was evident on the mammoth skin stretched over the top. Younger students marveled at it's sheer size, nearly three feet across. Not the largest drum, to be sure, but more than most single men could even thing of handling all on their own in the wilds of Varisia.
The man, for his part, seemed completely unaware of the audience he was gathering. He was lost in a trance. The Spirits were weak here in the city. But they were present, and they spoke to him.
He drew two smaller clubs from the array on his belt. Thighbones of some kind. They looked more like weapons than instruments, and the crowd took a couple steps back in response. They were not weapons at the moment, however.
The performance lasted for more than two hours. He drummed and chanted in the Old Ways. He called to the spirits of this land, and they answered by dancing for him, not that the people around could see. He took them on a rare rhythmic journey of high excitements and heart breaking lows, all without uttering a single word in common.
At the end, he lets the music fade, thanks the spirits, then picks up his huge skin drum, places it on his back, and leaves without acknowledging any of the enthusiastic praise at his back.

Almost done. Just fine tuning. At the moment I have a +17 to demoralize while raging. That might go down though.
I am also in the unique position of not needing power attack... but I may take it anyway. :P
