Whiteclaw - you haven't used any daily powers yet and you've got 9 surges left. Oh - and there's a dice roller on the boards. Check out the bb coding.

The misty forms of the poltergeists float happily upwards and P1 extends a beckoning finger at Whiteclaw and flys backwards into the Library, pulling Whiteclaw with it before slamming her into a bookcase.

"You don't look like much of a reader. I'm going to bounce books on your head," it giggles.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 282d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16 Kinetic Claw (Fort). On hit target is slid 5 squares and is restrained.
16hp damage to Whiteclaw and she is restrained (save ends).

P2 tries the same trick with Vel. "You look fun. What tricks do you do?"
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 262d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 5) + 10 = 19 Kinetic Claw (Fort). On hit target is slid 5 squares and is restrained.
19hp damage to Vel and she is restrained (save ends).

P3 tugs eagerly at Kia. "We're going to have such a good time. You're not - just us." The voice rises to a whining scream as the attack fails. "Nasty eladrin thing. I don't like you."
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 132d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 3) + 10 = 18 Kinetic Claw (Fort). On hit target is slid 5 squares and is restrained.

Restrained:
You grant combat advantage
You are immobilised
You can't be forced to move by a push, pull or slide

Whiteclaw the Warden

Spoiler:
Please check your email (and the discussion thread). Whiteclaw the original has returned to us. You are most welcome to join us if you wish (and I have an idea). I've got classes for most of today, but I'm back this evening (UK time) and perhaps we can discuss?

From the depths of the bookcases, the rustling grows slightly louder and for a fleeting instant, a wispy figure appears beside Whiteclaw gazing at her with luminous, hungry eyes.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 - Ghostly possession v Will. On hit target is dominated (se).

Vel has a glimpse of a similar figure wafting towards her as well before the figure takes advantage of her restrained state and sinks into her body.

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20 - Ghostly possession v Will. On hit target is dominated (se).

Restrained:
You grant combat advantage
You are immobilised
You can't be forced to move by a push, pull or slide

Dominated:

Female Gnoll Warden 12 (Icewrought Sentinel)

Is it ok if we jump back to me, thanks to the old/new Whiteclaw mixup? :)

"It takes more then books to stop me." the gnoll mocks back.

Start of turn save: 1d20 ⇒ 14

Backing up her words with actions, Whiteclaw charges at the poltergeist.

Free action to mark T1. Ferocious Charge at P1, taking the OA from T1. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22. On a hit 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 P1 is not marked.

OK. OA from T1 v Whiteclaw (Fort)
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 292d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 3hp necrotic damage to Whiteclaw

Whiteclaw pounds down the room, frost axe held high, but the poltergeist just giggles again and shifts. "Go away," it titters. An insubstantial foot reaches out and pushes the gnoll away with surprising force, knocking her prone.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 171d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 Immediate interrupt (v Ref) when target moves adjacent. Poltergeist shifts one as a free action and attacks. On hit, target is pushed 3 squares and knocked prone.
12hp necrotic damage to Whiteclaw (15hp necrotic total) and she is knocked prone.

Seraphiel raises his staff.

"Flee before the light, miscreant!"

Feeling something unpleasant tugging at his mind, the deva eases his way up the room and sends a shaft of welcome sunlight into the trap haunt.

Note that you had no line of sight on T1 from your stated position. I moved Seraphiel to the nearest place where he can get attack T1, but let me know if you're unhappy with that.

Arianwyn struts through the Library and outlines the nearest trap haunt in eldritch fire. Gobi hurls himself towards the poltergeist, passing Vel who doesn't seem to be in control of herself at all.

His blow lands true and the poltergeist screams.

"Nasty, nasty little dwarf. Stop hurting me! That's not fair! I'm telling on you. I've got a brother."

Female Eladrin Warlord/10

Kia moves to N5, the better to supervise things on that side of the room. Spying Gobi in a convenient position, she encourages him to hit out against the poltergeist.

"While your're there, Gobi, if you wouldn't mind..."

(Taking Gobi's, last post as his basic attack:)
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 311d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Ooh! another crit! I like the dice roller. I actually got the damage wrong as well, it should have been 1d10+11 with Kia's bonus. so actual damage is:

2d6 + 21 ⇒ (3, 3) + 21 = 27

"Good one."

Kia's guidance gives Gobi all the encouragement he needs and another mighty blow strikes home. The poltergeist squeals as ectoplasm starts to ooze from her spectral form. Then she giggles again.

"Loooook behind you ... He's hurting me," she wails accusingly at the wraith who appears from the bookcases and glares at the dwarf with savage glee.

"Hurting my little sister means you get to deal with me. Not so much fun now, is it?"

The wraith lounges comfortably against the bookcase, awaiting developments.

His poltergeist sister stamps a misty foot. "Stop talking to him! He's killing me!"

Bah! Will defense = 21. There shall be a reckoning!

"NOOOOOO!!!!"

Reason reaches out frantically.

Important edit. Please note that P2 has recharged its Kinetic Claw power.

Reason's howl of anguish helps bring Vel to her senses. The trap haunt reappears abruptly beside her and flinches a little at the expression on her face as she breaks free of both restraint and domination.

The Monster with glasses moves silently and serenely down the room and makes a small gesture towards the whining, bloodied poltergeist, teleporting both itself and her to better tactical positions.
Two move actions. Normal move and then rechargeable power allowing it to teleport itself and up to two allies up to four squares). Note that Monster with glasses has an aura 1. Enemies within the aura grant CA.

The wraith claws at Gobi, with a slightly apologetic expression on his face, as far as the paladin can see.

"Yes, I've changed. I used to be the studious type. Now, I just have this overwhelming desire to claw things to bits. Sad really."
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 261d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Claw (Ref). On hit target takes -2 penalty to attack rolls to end Wraith's next turn. 6hp necrotic damage to Gobi.

1d6 ⇒ 1 - recharge Kinetic Claw P1 - nope
1d6 ⇒ 5 - recharge Kinetic Claw P2 - yes

P1 bounces happily at the prospect of wrecking further mayhem and clenches a fist at Arianwyn before blowing gently at the warlock. A gust of air hurtles through the book stacks, increasing in speed as it heads towards him, and forcing him backwards. The poltergeist follows gleefully, phasing in and out of the shelves.

"Now I'm pushing you around."

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 251d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 - Hurl away (Ref). On hit target is pushed 3 squares. 13hp necrotic damage to Arianwyn

P2 smiles adorably at Gobi. "You wouldn't hurt a little girl, would you?" she asks before sending another gust of wind hard towards the paladin.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 261d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 - Hurl away (Ref). On hit target is pushed 3 squares. 12hp necrotic damage to Gobi. Total damage 18hp necrotic. Pushed into Vel.

P3 darts through the wooden stacks and tries, against all likelihood, to shove Whiteclaw further back as well. Spectral hands clap joyfully as the gnoll slides away, flat on her stomach, arriving at Arianwyn's feet.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 241d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 - Hurl away (Ref). On hit target is pushed 3 squares. 13hp damage to Whiteclaw.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 - Ref. On hit target takes -2 penalty to attack rolls to end wraith's next turn. Gobi takes 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 necrotic damage. 9 necrotic damage to Gobi.

"We do have things in common really," he comments. "I want to claw you to pieces, you want to hit me with that craghammer. It is a bond, no question."
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 - save v ongoing fire.

1d6 ⇒ 1 - Kinetic claw recharge, P1. No.

P1 floats effortlessly through the bookcases and sends another gentle breeze towards Arianwyn.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19 - Ref. On hit target takes 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 necrotic and is pushed 3 squares. 12 necrotic damage to Arianwyn.

"I like pushing you around. You think you're so clever."

P2 claps happily as the wraith attacks Gobi and points a misty finger at Kia.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 - Fort (-2 for cover from Vel, +2 CA from aura). On hit target takes 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 1) + 10 = 14 necrotic damage, is pushed 5 squares and restrained. 10hp necrotic damage to Kia and she is restrained (se)

"You're so good at moving people around. How do you like it?"

P3 edges closer for a moment and points at Seraphiel ...
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26 - Fort. On hit target takes 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 2) + 10 = 15 necrotic, is slid 5 squares and restrained (se). 15hp necrotic damage to Seraphiel and he is restrained (se).

Restrained:
You grant combat advantage
You are immobilised
You can't be forced to move by a push, pull or slide
You take a -2 penalty to attack rolls

It doesn't say anything about a fire resistance, although that is implied. I'm not sure to be honest - clearly the mechanical purpose of the effect is not to completely scupper fire powers, while still somewhat penalising them. Let me think on it, if you don't mind, and do some rules checking.

The wording is this:
"The Library is enchanted to protect its contents from fire. Fire attacks deal -2 damage per die, and creatures gain a +2 bonus to saving throws against ongoing fire damage."

What do you think?

Female Human Wizard 11 / Master of Flame

Vel fires a pair of force bolts at the wraith as it moves past, but perturbed by the ineffectiveness of her fire, she misses the easy target.

MM on Wraith vs Ref (via Reaper's Touch, it's a melee basic): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (3, 4) + 7 = 14 -- almost certainly a miss.
