Rumors of a dragon haunting the southern Narlmarches are probably (hopefully) overstated. The evidence indicates that the source of the rumors is merely a forest drake. In any event, it’s killing folks and needs to be put down. One lone eye witness who lived long enough to return with the tale described it as a lumbering beast with wood and leaves for hide. A reward has been offered by House Kalnath.

IN SEARCH OF TROLL BLOOD!
Upon belief and intent, Myrania the Alchemist seeks Troll's Blood for testing as a catalyst in creation of healing potions. A reward, in potions of the choice of the bringer of this rare substance, will be given by Myrania within 30 days of delivery of the blood. At least one wineskin full of troll's blood required for reward.

ANIMAL ATTACKS! HOWLS OF MADNESS?
Rumor of a wolf like creature have long been heard of in the Kamelands. Stories vary as to whether it is a worg, a dire wolf, or something worse. Bandits and hunters have, for years, told of it's madness inducing howls and blood lust. With the increase of citizens into the Greenbelt, it is necessary to root out this beast to make the citizens safe. A reward for the creature's head is offered by House Malvanna.

SHAMBLING SAP NEEDED!
Myrania the Alchemist requires one small cask of shambling mound sap. This will require a fully grown shambling mound to supply. While the shambling mounds are common in Hecktongue Slough, they are rarer in the Greenbelt. A reward of gold and curative potions is offered for the first group to return with a cask of sap.

Ok, time to get this back on schedule.

I think we're going to do the groups based on average posting speed. Now that people have cohorts, the cohorts can flesh out the slower group, that way everyone can play at their preferred posting rate.

The slower posters seem to be Dante and Shimmer, who post about twice a week. So we'll put Dante and Shimmer in group B.

The faster posters seem to be Anastacia, Fharn, Gorrum, and Natalie, who post daily or close to it.

In between are Ikit, Rowan, and Wilhelm, who tend to post in fits and spurts.

That sounds fine to me. I'm ok to go into whichever group. I'll try and get my cohort together sometime this weekend as I"ve settled on what I'm doing. I'll send a PM tonight to discuss the how's of her introduction.

We do need to decide what precisely to be doing with each group though. One group definitely needs to swing by the Kobold cave and figure out what's going on there and we need to figure out where the trolls are. Anything else to be dealt with?

Well, the kobolds are Shimmer's thing.

I was working on an IC post last night, then somehow it got eaten. Not sure what happened. I didn't have the heart to do a re-write at the time. Anyway, it seems Anastacia has her work cut out for her, what with the disease problems in town.
Of course, as the cleric that people would look to for burials and funerals, the werewolf killings should come to her attention pretty quickly.

A question, MDT: Is there enough of the guard left for a speak w/dead spell to work?

Also, I'm wondering about downtime. I've got that brand new scribe scroll feat, I'd like to use it some. Also my monastery is capable of generating quite a bit of gold or capital if we are using that system. Are we?

I know it's a lot to keep track of, so if you didn't want to do that, MDT, I understand. :)

@ everyone: Has anyone been keeping a loot tally? I can go back and do that, but I'd hate to do redundant work. (My RL job has enough of that.)

Ok, here we go...

A) Not really, his body is in 15 or 20 pieces, and the rats have been at it before he was found.

B) You can't do down time while doing kingdom maintenance. At least, not full time. You can get credit for half-time downtime stuff crafting. IE: 4 hours a day.

C) If you have buildings/organizations that generate resources/wealth, you can gain those on the following conditions :
C1) You have to keep track of it, and roll the rolls in the discussion thread.
C2) I reserve the right to modify things if it gets too out of hand or abused.

@Downtime - I have all the downtime stuff I hired/built/bought noted down. Even with some good bonuses (the Valet one on all crafting rolls for example) earning lots of gold isn't really in the cards. The most broken stuff one can really do is converting 'raw' gold to magic for later crafting, effectively building stuff for 1/4th of the price.

@Loot - I remember taking a look at that a while back, I don't think there was actually that much split among all the characters sadly.

@Wbl - As mentioned above, we did a wealth adjustment a while back. I don't think we have gained any significant amounts since then.

(ie everyone has ~16000, except those whom had a bit above that due to earlier crafted gear or crafting feats [Fhârn has ~20000gp worth*, Will has ~18000])

@Ana - Perhaps some used scrolls/potions or something?

@Cohorts/Imp. familiar - I think I'm pretty much done with the non-intro stuff. All that is left is to shoe-horn a small intro scene in there somewhere in the IC. I have my last midterm on tuesday, so it *might* not be until then.

So the houses cost 3 BP each. I assume we should just pay 2 extra BP to rush construction instead of the 0.25 * 6 = 1.5 BP? If so, new BP total is 40.

What kind of check would I need to do to have a look around town for other people who might have been injured or bitten by Corwyn?
Would it be gather infomation?
