Rumors of a dragon haunting the southern Narlmarches are probably (hopefully) overstated. The evidence indicates that the source of the rumors is merely a forest drake. In any event, it’s killing folks and needs to be put down. One lone eye witness who lived long enough to return with the tale described it as a lumbering beast with wood and leaves for hide. A reward has been offered by House Kalnath.

IN SEARCH OF TROLL BLOOD!
Upon belief and intent, Myrania the Alchemist seeks Troll's Blood for testing as a catalyst in creation of healing potions. A reward, in potions of the choice of the bringer of this rare substance, will be given by Myrania within 30 days of delivery of the blood. At least one wineskin full of troll's blood required for reward.

ANIMAL ATTACKS! HOWLS OF MADNESS?
Rumor of a wolf like creature have long been heard of in the Kamelands. Stories vary as to whether it is a worg, a dire wolf, or something worse. Bandits and hunters have, for years, told of it's madness inducing howls and blood lust. With the increase of citizens into the Greenbelt, it is necessary to root out this beast to make the citizens safe. A reward for the creature's head is offered by House Malvanna.

SHAMBLING SAP NEEDED!
Myrania the Alchemist requires one small cask of shambling mound sap. This will require a fully grown shambling mound to supply. While the shambling mounds are common in Hecktongue Slough, they are rarer in the Greenbelt. A reward of gold and curative potions is offered for the first group to return with a cask of sap.

I think just about anything can work. We have all the main bases (skilled, martial, divine, arcane) covered, so it's up to you. From a kingdom building perspective, if Felicia is actually gone :( then roles we need filled are: Councilor and Warden. If either of those tickle your fancy, you can play around with those as part of your concept.

Warden:

The Warden is responsible for enforcing laws in larger settlements, as well as ensuring the safety of the kingdom leaders. The Warden also works with the General to deploy forces to protect settlements and react to internal threats.

Councilor:

The Councilor acts as a liaison between the citizenry and the other kingdom leaders, parsing requests from the commonwealth and presenting the leaders' proclamations to the people in understandable ways. It is the Councilor's responsibility to make sure the Ruler is making decisions that benefit the kingdom's communities and its citizens.

Sorry everyone, travelling for work again, and had a much longer Monday than I expected (it started 7AM Sunday, and I didn't get to NY and into bed until 2:30 AM Monday). I'll be a bit spotty this week and next due to the travel.

I need to know what exploration paths the two groups are taking, also. It's time to break the groups back up into 2 tables.

It can probably be both! The kobolds should be, in theory, on the way to the trolls (mostly). I'm not sure what group 2 should be doing though. Any thoughts there (Dante/Rowan)? I've got Salvianna Garess (Wilhelm's older sister and cohort) built out, I just need to make a profile and update it. I also need to figure out some personality stuff and sibling interactions and the like. I've got the outline, but I need to figure out some details.

It looks like there are still some unexplored hexes left over from our previous pass. Might be good to explore those areas with one group, while the other starts at hex A1-6 and sweeps south to E1-5 and 6.

We don't really know where the trolls are, so we're going to have to hunt for them. Also, if they move toward the kobolds it might set up an opportunity for a pincer attack against them.

mdt: If Anastacia summons a lantern archon at Zatoksta, would she be able to summon the same one again? I'm thinking about using it to carry messages back. Of course, lantern archons have greater teleport, so Anastacia might be able to describe Zatokska well enough for the archon to teleport there anyway.

@Anastacia - She would not get the same archon. That would require a true name to get the same spirit over and over. However, she could describe her temple well enough to get it to teleport (not 100% safely, but enough for the 'really good dscription' level).

With Group B being very slow, I suggest they head off into the north east areas that haven't been explored. They don't affect the game as much (in this book) and won't affect things if they don't get their part done as fast as the other group.

I believe it was put forward that Wilhelm should marry for the good of the kingdom. What he wants isn't quite so clear, but I think it's a safe bet the Hag is a pretty poor option of the available suitors.

I'm having trouble coming up with a good plot hook to keep Pruett around. I'm sure you have something, MDT? Wilhelm is trying to gently nudge him to leave so we can conduct 'official business', which leads to us leaving to explore.

Hi all,
My apologies, this last week has been... stressful. I had to fly to another state to deal with a family issue. My father had to undergo a semi-routine medical procedure, but he had some sort of breakdown during the procedure. The doctors suspect it's from the anesthetic, it's put him in a state of dementia. We're hoping he will recover, but the week was extremely busy and very draining. I spent most of last night and today sleeping.

I'll try to get back to posting this week, as soon as I have energy to GM.

So I propose we explore the orange hexes with Group 1 and however many of the red group 2 can get through in similar time. The orange is right around our southern outpost, so it'd be nice to know what's there. Red takes a look at the lands towards the rumored centaurs, which is handy as we haven't had word from there in a while. I figure we can travel together to see what's going on the with Sootscales, then split to explore. That seems to cover most of what we want to accomplish. Thoughts?

Here is a partially complete profile for Wilhelm's sister and cohort, Salvianna Garress. She is married to a noble in the Garess clan (probably not Vors as she's been married since the expedition started at least :P). I've built her as a rogue which better fits my concept for her and stepped on fewer toes then a bard would. She dabbles in magic, fencing (more than dabbles in this case) and alchemy while maintaining the skills expected of a noble of the Orlovsky clan. Feeling stifled by her quiet life, she has convinced her husband (name TBD with input from MDT) to move down to the Stolen lands to her little brother's fledgling kingdom.
